TL;DR
Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville is frequently recommended for bachelor parties due to its vibrant music scene, rooftop pool parties, and excellent food options [1:2]
[2:3]. While it may not offer gambling, it provides a lively atmosphere with plenty of bachelorette parties around
[1:6]. Activities like moonshine tasting at the Old Smokey Moonshine distillery and boat rides are popular
[2:4].
New Orleans, Louisiana
New Orleans is another popular choice, offering a rich cultural experience with great food, bars, and casinos [3:2]. The city is known for its vibrant nightlife and unique attractions like ghost tours. It's also budget-friendly, making it suitable for groups looking to have fun without breaking the bank
[3:5].
Lake Tahoe, California/Nevada
For those interested in combining skiing, gambling, and golfing, Lake Tahoe offers a unique blend of activities [1:3]. This destination is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts who also enjoy nightlife and casino gaming. The scenic beauty of the area adds to the appeal for outdoor lovers.
Miami, Florida
Miami and surrounding areas such as Key West and Ft Lauderdale are perfect for those looking to enjoy beach activities, golf, and a lively party scene [4:1]
[4:3]. Although Miami can be expensive, places like Delray Beach offer more affordable options while still providing access to beautiful beaches and golf courses
[4:1].
Kentucky Bourbon Trail
For a more sophisticated experience, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail offers distillery tours, tastings, and beautiful countryside views [1:1]
[1:4]. While gambling might be limited, there are plenty of golf courses available, making it a refined option for those who appreciate bourbon and scenic landscapes.
Personalized Experiences
If the groom has specific interests, consider destinations that cater to those hobbies. For example, Lake Havasu in Arizona offers boating and fishing opportunities [5:1], while Clearwater, Florida, is great for charter fishing
[5:5]. Alternatively, organizing activities like hiking, camping, or laser tag can provide memorable experiences tailored to the groom's preferences

I’m looking for suggestions on bachelor party destinations in the US. We’re all in our late 20’s early 30’s. We like to booze, gamble, golf, have a great time. I’m totally over Vegas as I’ve gone several times for bachelor parties and would like to be a little different. Open to all suggestions. Fire away! Go Cubs!
Nashville. You’ll be outnumbered by bachelorette parties 2-1. Rooftop pool parties, great music, wide variety of foods. Not sure about golf and gambling though
At least one of the men in the party won't be able to socialize with the bachelorette parties
Ski trip to heavenly at Lake Tahoe. You can ski, then booze gamble and golf all the same weekend.
Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
Friend did that for his and they all loved it.
Plenty of golf in KY. Little if any gambling, though.
The distilleries all have tasting rooms that are really nice and the countryside is gorgeous. Rent a limo bus and enjoy. This is a sophisticated choice.
New Orleans
Excellent restaurants. Casino is nice....tons of hotels.
Not arizona. My boss just did one there and said it was ungolfable past 10am.
Bachelor party weekend destinations?
Trying to find recommendations in the USA for a solid bachelor party weekend that would include some of, if not all of the following: Great food scene/spots for heavy carnivores Nice cigar and cocktail lounge Good comedy venue Casino Outdoor activity (ATVs, snowboarding, jet skies, hiking, etc) Good brewery Not super hot weather Bonus: if the area has a solid BJJ gym that’d be awesome but not necessary
NOT interested in Beaches Trashy pool parties “VIP” bottle service type clubs Strip clubs Whores Cheap bar scene where people just go to get wasted Young college town type scenes
I appreciate any suggestions or prior experiences to stay away from as well Thanks men
Go to the south, shoot guns, drink whiskey and eat barbecue
Nashville
I'm going to Nashville. My 30 something year old friends are going to Honky Tonk Highway but didn't make any other plans yet. Any recommendations for food or things to do?
My friend really wanted to go to an old town bar called Tootsies but it was too packed. We went on a boat ride called the Pontoon Saloon Cruise with some other Bachelorette groups. Moonshine tasting at the Old Smokey Moonshine distillery was fun.
Whitefish Montana
Kinda sounds like Black Hawk (it’s a casino resort) In Colorado
Bakersfield, California is POPPIN all year round baby
Close second would be Gary, Indiana.
Ok so the other day had some friends over and we were talking about our one buddy's bachelor party. We would like to go somewhere fun, so Vegas was tabled but nobody really had their heart in it. New Orleans was also proposed with a much warmer response but nobody really knows much about Nawlins. So my question is where would you propose a group of about 10 or so mid 20s people from the Canadian prairies should go for a bachelor party, keeping in mind the groom is a teacher so summer and Christmas would be the most likely time, none of us are rich so we'd try and stay in North America, were all huge nerds and none of us are super hard partiers.
Also what would there be to do in New Orleans for about a week for said party? (And is there any cool abandoned places near there)
New Orleans doesn't need a week. Eating, drinking, gambling, bars, cigars and ghost tours idk what else you guys can do. Not sure if you guys are a wild bunch or not. Either was it's within budget.
Why not Montreal? Within Canada, lots to do with wide variety and very different from prairies
Otherwise, I'll suggest Mexico like Mayan Riviera area...can do ruins, party if you want, relax on beach, eat and cost effective
miami/keys good fun, good sun, beaches
a week is a long time for a party, maybe too long?
Most of those locations you'll be done after 2-3 days. I did Nashville and was more than done after Day 3 of the same thing day after day.
San Diego?
I'm heading to Florida at the end of April for my bachelor party and want to stay right on the water. My ideal days will be filled with beach volleyball and spikeball, with at least two rounds of golf at a nearby public course. The group is in our late twenties and early thirties—we enjoy drinking and partying, but the days of going overboard are behind us. Which city/neighborhood would you recommend based on my wants? Thanks in advance!
Key West
Miami, Ft Lauderdale or Delray Beach
Literally Miami
group is in our late twenties and early thirties
There are many low-T clinics here, but they cater to over-70 crowd.
Its like going to a ski resort in Colorado in February, for a week of hot tubbing.
Miami Beach if u got $ to blow , they gotta golf course close to the beach and strip. Delray if u want sumthin cheaper and more chill
Hi Everyone, I'm planning a bachelor party as the best man and I'm trying to look for some possible destinations that would be fun to go to. There will be six of us (including the groom, and if we were to travel we would like to keep it around $7000 total including flights. We would want to travel anytime this year before the end of September.
Here are some details about what the groom likes to do:
- He is introverted so nightlife and the wild parties are better suited in somewhat private area, he does like going to a bar or a brewery for a few drinks.
-He loves nature, cant get enough of it
-Likes the beach (if he is drunk)
-Likes to fish and go out on a boat
- He does not do drugs or strippers.
- LOVES Guns and Star Wars
I think it would be easiest to stay at an all inclusive resort
I've thought about maybe Cancún, Costa Rica or even Vegas possibly?
You already have your answer.
"He loves nature, cant get enough of it"
Go hiking or camping.
"Likes to fish and go out on a boat"
Then rent a boat and go fishing.
"LOVES Guns and Star Wars"
Either go to a shooting range or rent out a theater or hall and do a Star Wars marathon.
Pick one yourself or ask him which one he wants to do.
Or put them all in a hat and pull one out.
Just give him the 7000.00 as a wedding present and go out to a nice resturant. Bachelor parties are over rated.
or laser tag.
Right? Laser tag is fun
Nature, beach, fishing & guns. Sounds like a trip to Vietnam is in order then!
Go charter fishing out of Clearwater. King mackerel bite gets hot early summer if I remember.
Lake Havasu,AZ. Rent a boat or pontoon, get him buzzed out on the lake, then party on the beach. At night, you can find a couple of dives in the city, some can pass for a brewery or pub. Gets hot as hell though in the summer. Take lots of sun protection lotion. Girls are not strippers, but they act like them. Good times.
I'm working on having my bachelor party planned for next summer and my best man is looking for ideas for locations. Looking to go somewhere in the US that is low key and close to an airport. Also looking for places that aren't going to break the bank. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
I mean, Wichita Kansas probably fits that description but I'm not sure I'd want to go there for a Bachelor Party. What are you looking to do?
mostly relax. spend some good time with my friends. go to some bars at night but i don't need a night club. i've done scottsdale for a bachelor party and that was a bit much. i've also done cottonwood arizona and that was pretty close to what i'm looking for but don't want to do that again
Seems like every city in America with an airport would fit that description; its just a matter of choosing the right bar.
Lake Tahoe was pretty fun. We basically just got drunk at the cabin and cooked steaks. AirBnB was expensive as hell, but maybe that's typical.
Was thinking about Lake Tahoe but was worried about the budget. Went there for a free trip from the casino there. They paid for flight, transportation, and room. Most beautiful place I’ve ever been.
Guessing not many January Joneses looking for threesomes in Milwaukee pubs, but hey, worth a shot! I’d suggest Asheville, Lake Tahoe, or Reno. The last two have the added bonus of casinos. Or try somewhere around the Great Lakes.
OP asked for low key. Portland is like the definition of low key west coast, apart from maybe Bellingham but that's too small. Portland has tons of good stuff to do regardless of the strip clubs.
Portland is the best!
OP says a night in Scottsdale was too much, Portland is almost certainly too much then.
Going to Milwaukee for just your average American bar worked out well for Colin in Love Actually.
Asheville, NC is in the mountains and a fun town to visit.
Blue Ridge Georgia has a nice little downtown and lots of cabins in the area. And isn't far from Atlanta or Chattanooga, though you'll want a rental car.
Gatlinburg, TN is super touristy but it you get off the strip there a lot of mice cabins. Just check the access to then as some have really sketchy access.
I know this is an older thread, but is that Anakeesta in Gaitlinburg more geared towards kids? I saw an ad for it last time I worked in Nashville. Seemed pretty cool.
I’m looking to see some mountains granted my whole wedding party is from Texas so we don’t get to see many mountains here. Ideal spot would be a cabin in the woods that has easy access to bars and restaurants.
Looking for ideas for my buddy's bachelor party this summer/fall. We are in that phase where all of the boys are getting married and have already done two Vegas bachelor parties in back-to-back years and will be in Scottsdale for another one this April. The group is mainly located in the Midwest. This is my first time taking the lead with planning so open to all ideas.
I've been to Chicago, Boston, and Las Vegas 2x. Chicago was for my own and I kept it small with just my three best friends. Obviously biased because it was catered to me, but it was my favorite one. Cubs game with bleacher seats on a Friday afternoon, river cruise, Goose Island, and Harry Caray's were the highlights.
I was just out of college for Boston and my first Vegas so I was broke on those two.
The one BP I put together, we did Chicago, and it was awesome, one of the best I've been on. Cubs game is a must, Wrigley and the scene around it is unparalleled if you're a sports fan. Great bars, great food, great people, great summer or early fall weather, and can add in beach/water stuff as well.
I was the first of all of my friends to get married (last year at 26yo). I did mine in tampa because there are very cheap flights there for some of my buddies that arent well established in their careers yet. It was a riot! Brunch yacht cruise (very cheap) with bottomless mimosas, clubbing in ybor city, casino, day club, potential for hockey and baseball games as well depending on the time of year
Kinda off the beaten BP path but I’d suggest Portland, Maine. Great food, great bars, great beer, and you can catch a Maine Mariners game while you’re at it. Probably a lot cheaper than a big city too unless you’re going in the height of Summer.
Louisville/Bourbon trail depending on where in the Midwest you are and the interests of the group is another idea.
Rent a cabin on a lake somewhere and drink every light beer within a 100 mile radius
This is what I was thinking... a cabin up on Lake Michigan
Near Traverse City, MI would offer access to breweries good wineries, and exceptional views in early fall
Second this did a cabin fishing trip one in 2021 and was great
We got a place on Torch lake for mine, it was incredibly tight.
Hey there! I’ll be honest, I am not a golfer myself which is what brings me to this group to ask this question. I am planning my little brother’s bachelor trip and he wants it to be basically just a golf trip with some friends. Question is, where is the best location to go that is drivable from KY. They’re only going for a long weekend (3days), so preferably not somewhere that’s gonna make the weekend mostly driving and basically no golf. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’d appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks!
French Lick and Chariot Run are both fairly close (depending on your part of Kentucky) and are amazing courses with plenty to do nearby.
Fuzzy Zoeller’s Covered Bridge across the river from Louisville is a great golf setup.
there is a golf resort in harrodsburg called brightleaf, and there are packages for 3 days. I haven't been there, but a buddy of mine said it was an awesome time. You'll have to byob as it's a small town and dry county i believe, but should be a fun time. https://www.brightleafgolfresort.com/
I am getting a group of friends (early 30s) together for a bachelor party this fall. Ideally, I'd like an all-inclusive spot in the Caribbean that offers a gambling, golf, and great food. This search for resorts with all 4 criteria has been harder to come by than expected. I've seen lots of recommendations for the Dominican Republic or Cancun, but most of the food reviews have been garbage (I have been to an all-inclusive resort in the DR and can attest...) Any suggestions or recommendations?
RIU Palace Aruba checks off most boxes..the food is good for a RIU.
Looks like a great spot but I am seeing 4 night minimum which is a bummer. Can't quite swing that.
Check out the rest of the hotels on that strip of eagle beach, they all have casinos
I suggest you @myfunnydaymx ! They organized mine last year, and it was absolutely unforgettable. From the perfect yacht and stunning locations to the amazing activities and flawless service, they took care of everything. Trust me, they know how to turn your celebration into a once-in-a-lifetime experience!, I rent a villa with them and was more exclusive and better price than resort
Not knowing your budget, I would recommend The Hard Rock Punta Cana - this usually works out perfectly for my bachelor party clients. If you are looking for something more elevated, The Ritz Carlton Aruba is a great choice (although it's not fully all-inclusive).
This is up there on my list. I am just really thrown off by some of the reviews-especially with the food. I'm probably being a diva about the food and I know it's a "get what you pay for" kind of thing. But I went to an all-inclusive in the DR for a wedding back in the day and the food was garbage. Half of the people at the wedding got sick. So when I see those kinds of reviews it hits close to home.
You can find them on instagram
