TL;DR
Tower28 BeachPlease
Tower28's cream blushes are highly recommended for their dewy finish and ease of blending. The shade "Magic Hour" is particularly popular among users who prefer a subtle, natural look [1:1]. However, some users have noted that the formula can be sticky and may fade quickly
[5].
Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush
Rare Beauty’s liquid blushes are praised for their pigmentation and longevity. Although they require careful application due to their intense color payoff, once mastered, they provide a beautiful, lasting finish [1:5],
[2:3]. The Stay Vulnerable line offers more user-friendly options for those new to cream blushes
[2:1].
Glossier Cloud Paint
Glossier Cloud Paint is favored for its foolproof application and natural appearance. It comes in a variety of shades like Beam and Puff, which blend easily into the skin [2],
[5:1]. While it provides a glossy finish, some users find its staying power inconsistent
[2].
Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Blush
Fenty Beauty's cream blushes are known for their vibrant colors and buildable coverage. They offer a long-lasting formula that remains popular despite concerns about the price relative to the product amount [5:3],
[5:8]. Users recommend waiting for sales to purchase these blushes at a better value
[5:10].
Other Recommendations
Additional options include Nudestix for creamy, easy-to-blend formulas [1:1], Milk Makeup's cream blush stick for dry skin
[3:8], and Melt Cosmetics's Cream Blushlight for quick application and great color payoff
[4:1]. Indie brands like Phytosurgence and NOTO Botanics also offer unique textures and multi-use products
[2:8].
Overwhelmed by all the options!! I prefer a dewy/natural finish and my everyday makeup is very minimal, so something that is pretty subtle is preferred.
Here’s the deal, if you are new to cream products, great cream blush is elf’s cream blush pallet. It has 4 shades and is only $8. It is a must have for cream blush fans in my opinion.
For a luxury option I have loved tower 28’s cream blush in magic hour. It looks divine. But it is also, $20.
i love Rare Beauty’s liquid blush. easy to blend, lasts and looks amazingly dewy
I second this! I would recommend the dewy formula, it blends better for me and just looks gorgeous! Also Rare Beauty came out with more natural cream blushes, worth checking out!
I second this! I love this blush so so much and a little goes a long way!
Does anyone find rare beauty's liquid blush to be really difficult to use? I feel like you have to use SUCH a small amount or you end up looking clownish. It's just too pigmented for me...what am I doing wrong?
I third this. I have three, theyre soooo good
i got the mini blush & lip balm set around October and as someone who hardly ever wears blushes, I could not believe how much I LOVED the blush!
i got mine in the colour Bliss (matte baby pink) and it looks so natural on my light skin, blends like a dream and looks so natural but lasts all day. BRB gonna buy all of them now
From sephora, fenty is very nice and I think user-friendly. Nars liquid blush is very pretty too.
Outside of Sephora I love glossisr cloud paint. I just got some from flower beauty (purchased from ulta) which are pretty nice too.
from sephora specifically, i love the ones from milk and fenty. the rare beauty liquid ones are great too but you only need the tiniest bit! outside of sephora, i love the colourpop sticks, the glossier cloud paints, or the milani liquid blushes. hope that helps!
I’ve really enjoyed the Tower28 blushes! I have the shade Magic Hour and it’s wonderful. It’s got a dewy finish. It feels sooo nice and blends easily.
I really like Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Liquid blush- a little goes a loooong way. So it’s worth the price. I have a “dewy” (there’s two finishes- dewy and matte) finish one however it’s not obviously dewy like the Tower28. It does last quite a while for me.
Nudestix is probably my favourite- the colours are amazing and they last for a while on my face. They’re creamy and blend easily. They come in stick form so it’s easily to put in your purse and touch up if needed (I never needed to touch up my blush I usually just used it to touch up my lips if I was going for a monochromatic look that day!). I literally have 8 of these. I love them.
As much as I want to Stan a Canadian brand like Nudestix (being Canadian myself) I can’t stand with MAGA/trumpettes.
Noooooooo!!!! That’s horrible. I can’t believe I’m going to have to give them up.
I am huge fan of cream based products. I am curious to know your favorite cream blushes so please share some of your favorites or ones you’ve tried and your thoughts!
Some of mine are:
Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam: a creamy peachy pink blush with a glossy dewy finish. I like to apply it with a brush over using my fingers as most people do. Only downside is the staying power is rather inconsistent but it is very suitable to a natural/dewy look. It’s so subtle to the point it doesn’t shows in pictures
Honest Beauty Cream Blush in Coral Peach: this is an extremely pigmented blush. Very little goes a long way and I’m not exactly sure how to describe the finish but it’s more matte than dewy I guess. Probably my favorite so far
CoverGirl Clean Fresh Cream Blush in Flushed: Similar color to honest beauty cream blush but has more of a dewy finish and a slightly metallic coloring to it. Is also extremely pigmented so a little goes a long way. It’s also vegan!
Milk Makeup lip/cheek stick in Werk: beautiful rosy color with a dewy finish but has terrible lasting power. Most of the time it fades within the next hour but on the rare occasion it stays.
Mac's Glow Play Blush - I have oily skin, so cream blush isn't really the ideal for me. But I've found myself using a Glow Play in Totally Synced. The formula blends extremely easy and effortlessly, although it leans more sheer than a full pigment. I've been teetering on the edge of buying the Heat Index shade too.
I love this blush in so natural! It's beautiful. I want to buy the shade grand, but I don't need anymore makeup right now
Love the Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable blushes. Haven't tried the liquid blushes from their original launch because they scare me, but these newer ones are sooooo pretty and easy to use.
This. I just got Rare Beauty blush in Joy and it looks so natural that it looks sexy to me? I don’t own that many blushes and this one blew me away. A very little amount goes a long way too
I have nearly berry. You can definitely layer it up to be as pigmented as you want it to. I blend it with my fingertips and I get such a nice flush on my cheeks!
>I have nearly berry and it is pretty. Gives you a nice romantic look. A little goes a long way.
If you're open to indie brands, I will never not hype up Phytosurgence and NOTO Botanics enough, especially Phytosurgence. Their balms have a whipped, mousse-like consistency to them and are super pigmented. NOTO also has beautiful multi-use colors in jar and stick form, which is really useful, but be aware they have peppermint oil (smells lovely but can be a tad drying).
I also like Tower 28's Beach Please Multi-Use Balms (I have Power Hour), and it's stiffer than Phytosurgence but the color payoff is beautiful.
Colourpop blush stix in Cool It is one of my favs. I like the stick formula... Super easy to use. I just swipe my ELF small stippling brush across the top of the stick and then stipple on my cheeks. It's also easy to just rub my finger across the top and tap it on that way. The color is great on my neutral-cool fair skin. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes this can look a little heavier than liquid blushes... kind of a trade off for the ease of use of a stick for me...
Milani cheek kiss liquid blush... I think I have it in something like "rose romance"(?)
This color is a little more warm toned than I like so I think next time, I might try their "nude kiss" shade. I really like the formula, it just melts in with my other products so well and looks like skin, not heavy at all. Not as convenient as a stick blush as I have to squirt it out on the back of my hand and then dip brush in... It is easy to squirt out too much and also easy to apply too much...need a VERY light hand with this, IME.
Both last well on my skin. The Colourpop is a little more matte...I guess I'd call it satin (and I think the finish varies by color so I can't speak for other shades). The Milani is dewy but not overly so.
Overall, I like both and will repurchase both (though the Milani will be a different shade).
I like the Colourpop ones, too!
How I usually put it on is just dabbing a bit straight from the tube onto my cheeks and blending it out with a beauty blender. After I have the color blended in, i go back over it with the blender I use to put on my foundation. It gives a “from within” type of rosy glow. A trick I learned from some makeup artist on TikTok
The AOA Hush Cream Blushes - so good and they're only a $1!
I have two Rare Beauty blushes. At first I tried using my fingers. Never looked good. Finally used a damp beauty blender and that was the answer!
Liquid blushes are super pigmented and a bit tougher to work with, but once you get the hang of it they’re GORGEOUS. I’m a light/ medium skin tone and my favourite shades are joy and love. For a more natural everyday looks the stay vulnerable blush is amazing. It’s very easy to use, and it’s beautiful. My favourite shade in this one is nearly mauve
I have light skin and typically use the Benefit Dandelion blush which I love, but I have skin on the dry side so I thought switching to a cream blush might be a good way to maintain some dewy looking skin. Anyone have a brand of cream blushes/bronzers they love ?
Thanks!
I have dry skin and I think the tower28 blush is the best one I’ve tried so far! The RareBeauty cream blushes are also good!
what shade do you recommend? And does it last long (without adding powder)? been eyeing it for some time now :)
Magic Hour! It’s the perfect everyday pinky nude blush, and lasts the entire day (even on my oily skin)
I have tan skin and i got the golden hour colour. It is an orangey red colour that just looks like a dream on my skintone. I am sure it would look fantastic on others as well. I set my whole face with a very light dusting of translucent powder after and it last for about 5-6 hours, if I don’t set my face I will sweat it off in about 15 minutes
How do you guys get tower 28 to last? I have dry skin and have even set it with translucent powder. I’m lucky if I get 2 hours wear.
Dandelion is my favorite too!
It’s not at Sephora but Benefit’s posietint is my favorite cream/liquid blush. It’s not too pigmented gor my pale skin and blends out super nicely.
I have dry, sensitive skin and I love the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Radiant Finish (Joy). It's very pigmented and looks super dewey.
I really like fenty cream blush in petal poppin
I also have very dry skin and I adore the Milk Makeup cream blush stick! It blends like a dream and gives you a beautiful subtle glow. I'm currently using the shade Werk and it honestly looks amazing on my very fair skintone
i came here to say this one. i also have it in Werk and it’s just sooo gorgeous and blendable and flattering.
heads up, anyone looking to get these should get the mini. the full size you will have no chance on finishing it before it expires, and it’s really hard to travel with it. i have the blush in the mini, and the bronzer in full size and i think the full is just so bulky
My thoughts exactly, I have the mini and it's been months now and I'm barely halfway through the product..and I've been using it on a daily basis
I have and love the look and wear of the glossier cloud paints. However, having used them for years, I'm starting to get a bit annoyed by having to squeeze out the tiniest amount and dab it on. I also am welcoming my second child soon (my oldest is two) and I literally have ten minutes to do my makeup in the morning so I need to switch to something that can be applied really quickly.
I'm looking for something that's fairly pigmented and can be sheered out that comes in a flat container (apply with fingers or brush) or a stick! What are your favorites? Thanks in advance!!
canmake cream cheek ! idiotproof and balmy, comes in so many shades and undertones
The LYS cream blush is indeed in a flat container, extremely pigmented but can be sheered out beautifully, has a great shade range, and lasts all day.
Patrick Ta blushes! The cream powder duo is amazingly pigmented and easy to blend. You can layer them however you want for extra staying power too
Just a tip for if you (or anyone else reading this) purchase a Glossier Cloud Paint in the future do not remove the little foil seal instead just pierce it with a clean safety pin and you'll get just the right amount of product each time.
As for your request I would highly recommend both the Kjaer Weis Cream Blush and the MAC Glow Play Blush. Both formulas are easy to work with with either fingers or a brush. They're fairly pigmented but blend out quickly and easily. The MAC has more of a soft glowing satin finish whereas the Kjaer Weis has a radiant luminous finish.
Melt Cosmetics's Cream blushlight. I have 3 shades, what I love the most about this formula is how easy it is to use, I use fingers when I'm in a rush or a dense brush and it takes two seconds to blend. Color payoff is also great. The only downside is that the shades all lean warm.
Another great one is the Em Cosmetics So Soft. The shade I picked is a bit too deep for my skin tone, but I apply in small amounts and I can still make it work.
Im new to cream blushes. I did my research online and I’ve watch a lot of vlogs. Tower28 BeachPlease cream blush is highly rated and a lot of make up vloggers loves it. So I ordered 2 shades from Sephora. The colors were stunning! But I find it very very sticky and the color fades away almost immediately after applying. I’ve tried it multiple time. I tried with/without primer, w and w/o setting spray, w/ and w/o setting powder. I even tried two different foundation as base but I still get the same result. I tried everything to like it. The formula is just not for me.
What brand would you recommend? I have combo skin. My T-zone slightly oily then the rest of my face is normal to dry.
Fenty beauty cheeks out blushes. They have very fun colors, are buildable and surprisingly long lasting. Some of the shades look a little intimidating in the pan but are super pretty on the skin. I have for of them and I can't recommend them enough. Alternatively, the rare beauty liquid blushes are super long lasting as well but they're also extremely high pigmented so I don't find them to be that user friendly, especially for beginners. But once you got the hang of it, they are pretty reliable
Fenty is one of the highly recommended cream blush but its a little expensive with the amount of product you get. However, if its really that good im down to try it! :)
The price is the most frequent issue I see with the Fenty blushes. I agree that it's expensive for a very small amount. But, Fenty goes on sale frequently so if there is a blush that you would want to try I would definitely wait till there's some kind of holiday sale or coupon you could use from a third party retailer.
I bought a fenty stick blush on sale and it's lasted me quite awhile. It's all I use for blush and will repurchase when it runs out. Maybe keep an eye out for a sale?
Glossier cloud paint is my favorite blush!
Where can I buy this? Does Sephora or Ulta sell them? I can’t find it on the app
I just bought this and I'm in love already!
I used to never wear blush because I couldn’t get it to look right. Tried a sample of cloud paint and was immediately hooked. So easy to put on and so natural. As long as you don’t use too much, cloud paint is basically foolproof. Now I wear blush all the time! My personal favorites are dusk, puff, and storm.
I like Ilia's a lot. It comes in a tube so you can easily blend and build the color you want.
rare beauty blush!! i have love which dries matte so isnt sticky at all
Will definitely check it out! Thank you!!
Rare Beauty
What are the best cool toned powder blushes? I’m looking for powder blushes in red, mauve, and a berry color.
Essence has goldy cassis and berry cheeks, gorgeous formula. Rms has a great formula too and I'm partial to pomegranate fizz. Lethal has several that fit your shade descriptions. Rom&nd blueberry chip.
If you're in any way open to creams, phytosurgence has wisp, fervor, and swelter and its the best formula.
Thank you so much!! I’ll check out all those options :)
Essence Pure Nude baked blush in “goldy cassis.” It’s so good!
Thank you I’ll check it out!!!
Mac breath of plum - such a pretty shade and sheertone is a nice build able formula
Thanks I’ll check it out!
Haus labs hibiscus haze
I just got into cream blushes with the Canmake cream cheek, I love them, but I'm already starting to hit pan in one because they're so tiny. I may just repurchase when I'm out, but it would be nice to find something similar that will last a bit longer. What are your cream blush recommendations?
Asian brands are where it's at! They're not super pigmented so they're easily buildable and the formulas don't tug on my skin at all. My favs are:
APIEU Jelly Blusher (Korean, cream to powder finish.)
Holika Holika Jelly Dough Blusher (Korean, cream to powder finish too but a bit less pigmented than the APIEU blush)
Lilybyred Luv Beam Cheek Balm (Korean, dewy buildable finish)
If you can get your hands on Filipino brands, I'd suggest:
Strokes Beauty Crush Blush (creamy satin finish)
Sunnies Face Airblush (slightly balmy and sheer finish)
I really like Fenty’s cream blushes. Super easy to blend. Also super pigmented so a little goes a long way.
Yes, but they are SO pigmented, so if you’re super pale like me, a little goes such a long way. I love to have a ton of blush on to look sunkissed👌🏻 but I barely have to use any.
Also really like using the Mac lip and cheek stick. It can be a little light, but I use it along with my fenty cream blush.
I also recommend using two or even three cream blushes and blending them together, because it creates a little more of a natural look and it’s just more fun to play around with the perfect color! (Saw this on TT from a bridal makeup artist - sadly I don’t remember her name).
Thirded. I have petal pusher and it's so cute. It's lasted me ages because you don't need to use much
Seconded. Very user friendly.
I really love the Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks cream blushes…they’re on the pricier side but absolutely worth it. They blend easily, last long and have good color pay off, so a little goes a long way and also give a bit of a lit from within look.
Ah I'm not a fan of cream blushes in stick form unfortunately :(
I love Westman Atelier. Their blushes make my skin look like it’s glowing
I love the Tower 28 ones, they are really pigmented so a little goes a long way & they blend out so easily and beautifully.
Any color you recommend?
I’ve liked After Hours, Dream Hour, & Happy Hour. I want to try Magic Hour & Party Hour next.
I really like Milani Cheek Kiss (the one in a pot, not a tube). Staying power is excellent
I never use blush and want to start. What’s your favorite? And are you most inclined to use powder, liquid or cream?
What would you recommend is the easiest for a beginner to use?
I have oily skin, so I prefer powder blushes. Tarte makes some excellent ones, but my all time favs are the Buxom wanderlust blushes. Shade Dolly is perfection.
Oh my goodness. I love buxom dolly lip gloss and I NEED to try the blush!
Their blushes are my ride or die. I own three and I wear them more than any other blush
NARS orgasm. I’ve only tried the powder but I’d like to try the liquid or cream since I have dry skin. Anyone tried the liquid or cream and like it?
The liquid NARS orgasm is amazing 😍 I have dry skin too- the tiniest drop gives the most beautiful glow that lasts all day. I only just replaced my previous bottle it lasted me 3 years!
Thank you. Whenever my powder one runs out, I will try the liquid version! :)
My makeup leans towards the natural side, so I like makeup that is lighter and enhances more than deeply pigmented makeup.
I am really liking, Milk Makeup Lip And Cheek Tint. I have one in a pink shade and the other in a coral shade. It is very lightweight and buildable. I've stopped using all other blushers except these two. You can build up as much or as little color as you want.
I’ve never tried liquid brush but I want try it, so I’m afraid for use that type of blush cause’ my skins is very oil. Sorry if some of I wrote was wrong); I speak Spanish but I have studied English until b1 or b2, idk xd
Cream is hands down my favourite blush formula. It’s a perfect blend between liquid and powder, easy to use, you can control the opacity, and the finish is the most skin like to me.
My favourite creams right now are LYS. Zero complaints about the formula, it’s creamy but not slippy or greasy. You don’t need a lot, it’s easy to blend and the colours are great. Also they are great bang for your buck, you get a ton of product!
Powder is great too, and my go-to is Pat McGrath for easiness. It’s beautiful, basically blends itself. Fleurtacious is great if you’re fair/light, it’s a fool proof nude blush you can just keep slapping on and it never looks like too much.
Hello! I have been scraping skincare and beauty subreddits for a personal project. These are my results so far, ranking the different blushes brand recommendations by upvotes. Thought it might be helpful for users of this subreddit!
Note: Sometimes, one comment might recommend 2 or 3 brands - the upvotes on that comment are then split between the recommended products (that's how you can have .5 upvotes)
Note: I deliberately avoided recommending specific shades here. Although many of the reddit comments do suggest specific shades, I think it makes more sense for p to test and figure out which shade makes works better for you (even if you pick a brand you like!). Do also note that for specific skin tones, I recommend going to the dedicated subreddits (e.g. OliveMUA, PaleMUA)
----
For transparency!
This is most of the raw data that I used to compile the rankings:
Thread: Blush recommendation please
Thread: Favorite liquid blush
Thread: Fool proof fail proof blush recommendations
Thread: Holy grail blush
Thread: If you could only wear one blush for the rest of
Thread: The best blush in your opinion considering price
Thread: What has been your most used blush product this
Thread: Whats your favorite blush for that natural blush
Thread: Your favorite blush
Idk. Not seeing some really great blushes that I know are from luxury brands make me think most of the votes are from people who skew young and likely have less money or people who aren’t willing to try blushes across the range of price points. Seems incomplete.
Thank you!
What were the highest ranked drugstore blushes?
I didn't do it for drugstore one specifically, but i did see this thread!
That is really cool! Will you do that for other beauty products?
Out here doing the Lord’s work. 🙏🏻
glad it helps!! :)
The Hourglass are so good. I’m shocked the Rare Beauty are not higher. The bouncy blush is awesome. Love the Apieu. I’ve repurchased. Also shocked the Armani blush tints are not there. Every Single Creator loves them. It’s odd.
I’ve been meaning to post this for a while. I tried to organize them in groups and kept missing some or thinking some went into 1 group to realize they probably belonged in another, so then redoing them. I think I got them grouped as well as possible 🤣
SKIN TONE I’m fair with very cool toned, muted skin. Finding a pink blush was always a challenge for me until I found out I was really cool toned and figured out that's why anything that looked pink would turn peach or orange on me, depending how much warmth it had, and if I wanted it to be a true pink on me it had to be a true cool toned pink or be more of a lavender/purple shade. So began my search! These are some of my favorite powders right now. I have to do liquid/cream blush swatches next!
FORMULA, APPLICATION, WEAR All of these are really good formulas! They pick up easily, blend out easily onto my dry skin, and don't look dry or powdery at all. I usually favor liquid/cream blush, but, if the powder formula is good and doesn't look dry and powdery on me and it's a color I like, then I have no problem. And these are ones I have no problems with! Obviously, some are more pigmented than others - the really light shades aren't going to be intense color since they're so light, but they actually have really good pigment for being so light where I don't need to build them up a ton to get them to show up. I also like to use them along with more intense colors or to cool down any colors that aren’t as cool toned as I’d like. The ones that aren’t as pale/light have more pigment to them, but even the more pigmented ones aren’t so pigmented where it’s easy to go overboard with them. I can apply all of these without being too cautious, worrying about clown cheeks! They all last well throughout the day (on my dry skin with setting spray and fixing spray used). If there’s anything different about any of the blushes, I’ll give details on that with each one.
SWATCHES Finger swatches on my bare forearm (no primer/lotion). All 1 swipe except for some of the paler ones, which are 2 swipes each. I swiped them on my arm and then ran my finger back and forth to kind of blend them into the skin some so they weren’t just straight pigment swiped on (hopefully that makes sense lol). Photos are in natural lighting. I took the photos with my window to the right of me. With the blinds closed. I did my best to make sure the lighting allowed the colors in the photos to show true to what I see in person (at least when I have my brightness turned up all the way).
If you want any info on any individual one, let me know! If the blushes came in a palette with other shades, I tried to remember to do a separate photo swatching all the shades so you could see those as well!
SWATCH PHOTOS
PHOTO 1: MUTED - PALE/LIGHT LAVENDER/PINK (COOL TONES)
PHOTO 2: BRIGHTER COOL TONED PINKS
PHOTO 3: MEDIUM PINKS/KIND OF BERRY (Wasn’t sure what to call these - Medium toned pinks with some kind of leaning into berry?)
PHOTO 4: BERRY/PURPLES
PHOTO 5: PINKS THAT AREN’T AS COOL TONED
PHOTO 6: HINCE TRUE DIMENSION LAYERING CHEEK: #L003 DREAMLIKE - This shows swatch of cream, swatch of powder, and then a swatch of the cream with the powder on top. The cream was disappointing. It barely shows up. It's basically clear with a hint of lavender to it. It's crazy because the creams in all the other shades I got of this are much more pigmented. So not sure why the cream in this one wasn't. With swatches, I can do 3-5 swipes and it’ll show. It’s still really light, but it shows. But, on the cheeks, I have to pack a ton of it on and it still doesn’t really look like anything. I love the powder side, but wouldn’t repurchase for that. However, you can layer them together. You can apply the cream and then the powder on top. It works well that way. I show a photo where I swatched the cream, powder, and then did the cream with powder on top.
PHOTO 7 and PHOTO 8: HINCE TRUE DIMENSION LAYERING CHEEK: #L001 ALLURE IN THE AIR - PHOTO 7 shows swatch of cream, swatch of powder, and then a swatch of the cream with the powder on top. The cream is called a “Muted Beige” and the powder is called a “Rose Beige.” The cream is a lot more pigmented than the cream in the L003 palette. It actually has a beautiful rosy tone to it. It works well as a bronzer shade on me. I tried my best to get it to show in the swatch photo, but I just couldn’t. No matter what, it always looked warmer. I tried taking the photos at different times of the day, different areas with natural light, with artificial light, with different backgrounds, etc. And I couldn’t get it to show as accurate as I want. So in the photos, the shades do look warmer than they do in person. With this one, I don’t like the cream with the powder on top. It looks orange. So I never wear it that way. But I can wear the cream as bronzer and the powder as blush. PHOTO 8 shows the actual palette. I feel like the colors shown in that photo are more accurate than I was able to get with the swatches.
PHOTO 9: CARTER BEAUTY BLUSHER PALETTE - APHRODITE - This shows swatches of all 4 shades in the palette.
PHOTO 10: BY TERRY BRIGHTENING CC PALETTE - 2. BEACH BOMB - This shows swatches of all 4 shades in the palette.
PHOTO 11: DOCOLOR TROPICAL PALETTE - 2. BEACH BOMB - This shows swatches of all 9 shades in the palette. (I should’ve included the shade “Coral” from this palette in with the “Photo 5 Swatches” that aren’t as cool toned, but I forgot 🤦♀️. It’s called “coral” but in the pan it looks like a pale peachy shade. But when applied, it is more neutral than peachy. It works great as a muted blush even on my very cool toned skin.)
PHOTO 12: ABH BLUSH TRIO - PINK PASSION - This shows swatches of all 3 shades in the palette.
PHOTO 13: ULTA BEAUTY MAD FOR MAUVE 6 PIECE BLUSH PALETTE - This shows swatches of all 6 shades in the palette.
PHOTO 14 and PHOTO 15: ESSENCE PURE NUDE BAKED BLUSH: GOLDY CASSIS VS CARTER BEAUTY BLUSHER PALETTE - APHRODITE: GLORY - PHOTO 14 shows then swatched next to each other and PHOTO 15 shows them blended out slightly next to each other.
**PHOTOS 16-19: Photos of all the different products grouped (except for what I thought to add in after so some might be missing if I did a new set of swatches after this 😅)
As a very fair, cool, and muted person - I want to raid your vanity!
Hahaha! Well liquid/cream ones are coming next once I swatch those! Hope you can find some of these for yourself! It’s so hard finding good truly cool and/or muted shades!
I love them all. Of course I have some faves over others. Surprisingly, my HG one is probably the LA Colors Pink Blush shade. If you’re in the US, the LA Colors ones are only $1.25 and I can’t believe what a great formula they have! I first got the Pink Blush shade and fell in love with it (I’ve been through like 4 now and I pretty much never pan blushes, let alone the same one multiple times!) and then I found the Sweet Cheeks shade and fell in love with that one (though Pink Blush is probably always going to be my top choice if I have to choose) and since I found those, I’ve picked up the other shades when I saw those. But Pink Blush and Sweet Cheeks are great! I couldn’t believe how nice the formula is, how easy it is to work with, and how well it lasts and for $1.25 each!
Eagerly awaiting the cream blush swatches! Thanks
Thank you so much! I have a few pebbles of my favorite discontinued blush left. I really needed this post
Ohhh! What blush? Wait, no, maybe I don’t want to know! I hate finding out about something good only to find out I can’t get it 😩 Okay, okay, I wanna know 🫣…what is it?
Hopefully you’ll find something you love just as much from this! I love them all, but of course have some faves! It’s so hard finding true, cool toned and/or muted shades. I had TONS that didn’t work before I figured out what to look for and started hunting those down, and even knowing what I like and what to look for, I still end up with misses that looked like they’d work but end up being totally different when applied. So if I can help anyone avoid having to waste time and money on ones that don’t work, that’s a great thing! 😆
It was from Space Case Cosmetics that went out if business in 2021 i believe. The shade was “cosmic gangster”. Its a warmer pink that was a bit shimmery, medium-sheer coverage.
It’s probably pretty close to one of the top 4 on pic 5. Im not exactly sure which one though.
Appreciate you 🫶
Thank you!! ❤️ Hopefully it’ll help someone find something that’ll work for them! It’s so hard finding true cool toned and/or muted shades! It took me a while to find and build up the shades I have - and LOTS of ones that didn’t work along the way!
oh no these swatches are really dangerous for me since this is exactly the colour story that i always gravitate to as well! so you literally have my dream blush collection
what are your favourites colour- and formula-wise?
Beautiful swatches!
Thanks so much!!

Key Considerations for Choosing Cream Blushes:
Formula: Look for a cream blush that blends easily and has a smooth texture. Some formulas are more hydrating, while others may have a matte finish.
Pigmentation: Choose a blush that offers buildable coverage. This allows you to achieve your desired intensity without looking too heavy.
Longevity: Consider how long the blush lasts throughout the day. Look for products that are long-wearing and resistant to fading.
Skin Type Compatibility: If you have oily skin, opt for a cream blush with a matte finish. For dry skin, a dewy finish can provide a healthy glow.
Shade Selection: Pick shades that complement your skin tone. Peachy tones work well for warm undertones, while pinks and berries suit cooler undertones.
Top Recommendations:
NARS Cream Blush: Known for its rich pigmentation and blendability, this blush comes in a variety of shades and offers a natural finish.
