TL;DR
Popular Free Streaming Sites
Several free streaming sites are frequently mentioned by users looking for K-dramas. Kissasian is a popular choice due to its extensive library, though it is recommended to use an adblock browser to manage pop-ups [2:1]. Dailymotion and Tubi are also suggested as platforms where K-dramas can be found
[1:6],
[1:4].
Alternative Viewing Options
For those who prefer fewer ads, using the Brave browser can help skip ads on various streaming sites [1:5]. Stremio is another platform that offers a comprehensive selection of K-dramas, although some users may face network compatibility issues
[1],
[5:1].
Regional and Subscription Services
While not entirely free, services like Viki and Kocowa offer a substantial collection of K-dramas, often with better quality and subtitling options. These platforms sometimes have free tiers but typically include ads [2:2],
[4:2]. Netflix and Hulu are also mentioned, though their selections may be limited compared to dedicated K-drama sites
[2:4],
[4:5].
Community Recommendations
Users often share tips and personal recommendations in forums and Reddit threads. Some suggest checking out specific subreddits or community lists for updated links to working streaming sites [2:2],
[5:9]. Additionally, there are mentions of secret or lesser-known sites shared within these communities, which might require some exploration to find
[2:8].
In summary, while there are several free options available, each comes with its own set of limitations, such as ads or incomplete libraries. Using adblockers and community resources can enhance the viewing experience.

Hi! I created a petition asking Netflix to add a Tamil dub for Queen of Tears. Please sign takes 10 sec and forward to 5 friends: 🙏 link🔗 here https://www.change.org/QueenOfTearsTamil
I watch the dramas on Netflix but I’ve almost finished watching all of Netflix’s minuscule selection and I wanted recommendations on where I should start watching them :D
If you are in the US: Viki is the main site for them since dramafever shutdown, at least as far as I know. There's also Kocowa for some dramas. If you go to the main kdrama sub, I believe they have sites in the sidebar.
Additionally with some casual searching you will come across someone who set up a site to watch a lot of dramas if you're not so concerned about legalities.
I haven't been subbed to Hulu in awhile, but they used to have some dramas, I'm not sure how many if any they still have and how it compares to Netflix.
I really recommend viki too! They have most tv apps and has a really good selection!
Hulu has like 10 dramas but they are all worth watching ... While you were sleeping, legend of the blue sea, oh my Venus, dots, the smile has left your eyes, just between lovers, etc
Dramavery is free..Viu ..Viki..Asian crush.. kisstvshow..taxidrama. But the extensions vary. I have a huge list on my website's blog. www.serioholic.wordpress.com/2019/03/23/series-streaming-sites-apps-free
I watch most of the dramas on kissasian. You can also see dramas from other Asian countries and in all kinds of genres. Just go to advanced search and you can customize your search.
Kissasian have been my favorite for the last 2 years, the amount of dramas available is incredible. I use it in my tablet with an Adblock browser as the amount of pop-ups is just ridiculous.
Youtube, ondemandkorea, tubi, kanopy for movies
Viki, Netflix, Hulu, dramacools9
There's a secret place created by a kind Redditor a few years ago...
Hi, I need a free website where I can watch Korean dramas and movies. However, I need it to be in English, with subtitles, and of course in good quality (my boyfriend only cares about the quality and English language).
kisskh.asia or .co
I have been watching kdramas since 2019. I am a Man. I can't say it in public or ask others as they will think low of me. You guys already know about stereotype made by Men in India. So please suggest me great sites to watch kdramas like Dramacool. Which obviously shut down. Please suggest those with shows the new kdramas which are popular like Dramacool did in its homepage. Coz I am too lazy to find new kdramas. Please help.
You're absolutely not alone, and it’s great that you’ve been enjoying K-dramas since 2019!
And please don’t feel hesitant to share your love for K-dramas — more and more people from every background are proudly part of the fanbase. That said, your concern is totally valid given societal stereotypes, but rest assured, your interest is respected here.
Questions like yours pop up every month, so you're not the only one searching for good drama sites. Here's what I’d suggest:
To keep track of what you watch or discover new K-dramas easily:
And for watching K-dramas safely (with both free and premium options), check out these platforms:
Many of these update regularly with trending or new dramas — so you won't have to do much digging. Some are free with ads, so you can still watch without spending anything.
viki.com for largest library of Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, etc. Very high quality production, performances, all genres. Premium: $11.99/mo. Ease of use. I've found Chinese, Korean, Japanese- all well done.
You are can watch from Olevod for free, but the website is in Chinese.
Netflix and viki has good collection.
No i don't agree bc many great dramas are not on Netflix like Moon Lovers: Scarlet heart ryeo, Hwarang, Marry my husband, Dr. Romantic, Love next door, Moving, weak hero class 6, Bitch and rich, these are the ones which i remembered. Though it is a good starter pack for a beginner
My Netflix has Hwarang, Love Next Door and lots and lots of others, like: My Dearest, Strong Woman Bong Soon, Voice, Missing: The Other Side, The Glory, The Good Bad Mother, Sweet Home, Hellbound, Bloodhounds, Prison Playbook. In fact, it has improved from 2 years ago. 👍
It doesn't have them all though, but I also have a subscription with Prime and Viki, also, IQIYI.
Covered for the most part, but not everything.

Why whrn you can watch literally anything for free

Hi! I always watch K-dramas on free sites. I recently replaced my old laptop, and now I can't find the site I used to watch.
Please help me find it, here are the descriptions I can remember:
- It was a site that offers free k-dramas and movies
- It doesn't have ads, but it gives an option to download a specific plugin for an improved viewing experience
- It doesn't have any "drama" or "kdrama" words on the website
- I found the website somewhere in a reddit post, it is from a long list of working streaming platforms for free, along with kissasian, and more.
I very, very appreciate the help!
Edit: It has a dark UI, and the search bar is in the center of the page below the website name. It has no preview of videos, but when you search for a movie/drama, it will display on the website below the search bar the next time you open it.
OP.. you are the answer to my prayers since myasiantv went to the depths of the internet's trashcan🧎♀️🧎♀️🙏
Glad I could help, enjoy watching!
You can use brave browser if you dont want any ads.
I always use Brave browser, but I can't let go of that site since it's free, no tracking, no ads, can use different sources, and offers a download option. :(
Do they have it in dub there ? I know I know watching the dub is a crime but I really don't wanna read
I am not sure. I am a subtitle girlie and would prefer sub over dub
Is it Kisskh?
sadly, it's not :( i appreciate the help! <3
i use stremio - has every kdrama.
i usually just watch my kdramas on netflix since they are quite popular ones but as i watch more, the less i can find on netflix ( because we all know netflix's library isn't the best ) so i was searching for some sites and almost all of them either have a terribly small library, request subscriptions or have heinous amounts of ads ( i have an ad blocker but they won't let me watch until i've turned it off which i obviously don't want to do ) so if anyone has any reliable and good site please lmk !
I have Netflix and the paid subscription to Viki, which i have never regretted. Disney+/Hulu has a small but worthy library of action/ thriller kdramas that I have enjoyed. The ads, tho. 🙄
I have Rakuten Viki and Netflix. I originally signed up for the free version of Viki just to watch a show Netflix didn’t have, but I liked the quality of their subtitles so much I continued to the paid subscription. I actually went back and tried to rewatch a drama on Netflix that I’d already seen on Viki and the subtitles were shocking in comparison so now I always watch on Viki first and Netflix is my backup.
PREACH. I always look to see if a drama is on Viki first. I am bummed when it's only on Netflix, their subtitles are so bad in comparison.
School 2017 subtitles didn't make sense on Viki, so i had to watch on Netflix, but other than that, yeah i alternate between the two.
What do you mean by bad? Is the translation off?
Well all translations are just approximations, but I’ve found that Netflix lacks finesse a lot of the time. For example I watched weak hero s1 on Netflix and a lot of the subtleties were sort of bulldozed over. Viki’s version made made sure wording called back to previous phrases in the episodes, for example, while Netflix felt more like someone had just run it through an automatic translator. It wasn’t wrong, per se, it just wasn’t elegant. The viewing experience was worse.
Viki, Netflix, Amazon Prime. However you can find a ton online if you’re looking.
You didn’t say where you’re located and it will make a difference. I’m in the USA.
I started with Netflix. Then realized there was much more content elsewhere. I started with the “free” version of Viki, watched as much as I could. Then I upgraded to the highest level subscription and never looked back. When I renew (annually), I just say take my money. Subtitles are markedly better than Netflix.
Other USA sources are: Hulu (Disney+ content), Prime, Tubi*, Roku*. *ad supported.
There is actually a good selection in Tubi if you’re in the U.S. and less ads compared to Viki free with gazillion of ads.
Kissasian.video
Does anyone knows how to watch weak class hero season 2 for free I searche everywhere hellpp
It just stopped working right now. Is there any other that you know of??
asianflix
It just stopped working right now. Is there any other that you know of??
Me to i dont know why
Which free website do you use which has the best UI and least amount of ads and also has watch history
KissKH and Flixer and I don't do ads, I have an ad blocker
Viki rakuten and Netflix, both paid so no ads.
Netflix, VIKI, HiTV, the rare Amazon prime and iQIYI
HiTV app. Its not widely available but the UI is seamless ✨
UI is pretty bad as the full screen mode is actually not properly full screened. Most annoying thing about the app especially bc I have premium but still can’t get rid of this feature
Oh? Must be different apps cuz I’ve seen many apps by the same name. Also when I click on HiTV VIP (premium) in mine it says it’s not available in my region 🤷🏻♀️ overall my experience has been pretty good
Mostly Viki and Netflix, also some on Amazon Prime (paid subscriptions). I tried Hulu but it had too many subtitle synching issues and excessive ads.
I've also recently discovered Tubi (free with ads in US) which has a good selection of older content not available on other platforms, but I've mostly only watched k-movies so far. The ads aren't too bad - definitely fewer than Hulu.
Any free websites where i can watch kdrama for free
Doesnt work on Ipads
Stremio? Did u tried that?
I want somewhere that has good quality and fast ENG SUBS!!
Dramanices.com is pretty fast at updating their lists. For variety shows, kshowonline.com is usually on top of the more popular shows. They're not perfect, but they work pretty well. That and kissasian, which has a really good handle on not only kdramas but also jdramas
Thank you :)))
Of course! I hope they work out for you
I watch on Kissasian or myasiantv
Viki! It's great with learning mode too!
I need to know too lol. I used to use Viki, and it was fun to see people’s comments while watching, but then for some reason Viki started loading super slow... (and adblock stopped working, cough)
I use ondramanice now, but the quality obviously isn’t the best.
yeah... they are quit slow.... I have heard about KOCOWA, do you know anything about it?
