TL;DR
Popular Streaming Platforms
Several websites are frequently recommended for streaming Asian dramas. Viki.com is a popular choice due to its extensive library of Korean dramas and availability across multiple platforms [2:1]. However, users should be prepared for ads unless they opt for the paid version
[5:1]. YouTube also offers a surprising variety of Asian dramas, often with subtitles, making it a viable option for free viewing
[3:8]
[5:3].
Specialized Sites for Asian Content
AsiaFlix is a site that consolidates various types of Asian dramas under one platform, including K-Dramas, C-Dramas, J-Dramas, and Thai Dramas [1]. While it offers a broad selection, some users have noted that not all dramas are available
[1:2]. KissAsian is another well-regarded site known for its comprehensive collection of Asian dramas
[2:5]
[5:4].
Alternative Options
For those seeking less mainstream options, sites like FastDrama and ViewAsian provide additional avenues for watching Asian dramas [5:2]. Additionally, Dailymotion is mentioned as having a good range of K-dramas, although the quality may vary
[3:2]. Some users have also suggested using Telegram to download dramas directly
[3:1].
Regional Services
In certain regions, services like Viu offer free streaming with ads, providing another option for accessing Asian dramas [4:2]. This service is particularly popular in Southeast Asia.
Considerations Beyond the Discussions
While these sites offer free streaming, users should be aware of potential legal issues surrounding copyright and consider supporting official platforms when possible. Additionally, using ad blockers can enhance the viewing experience on sites with heavy advertisements.

Yes some dramas may be missing.may I know which one you are specifically looking for?
The defects
Brave browser not supported. Thanks but no thanks.
You can use Chrome, Firefox or any other even with adblock. No issues at all.
We have activated support for brave browser again. now you can use it..
Oooh, maybe blur out the name. You know how the Internet is.
That said, what a coincidence! I JUST discovered this site! Thank goodness; it was getting tiring hopping between the different sites.
I agree. I had a YT channel named AsianFlix and I was shocked it lasted a year.
Cheers now everything is under one roof !!
Any chance you guys can make your episodes downloadable?
Thanks so much!
I love this one because it has old dramas too
Korean/Japanese/Chinese but maybe some South Asian too.
I used to pay for Drama Fever but it shut down unexpectedly and I haven't been able to find a replacement/somewhere else to watch them. I don't want to torrent or direct download, just stream. Thanks a bunch.
There is an adless, HD subtitled site that is meant to be a "small server"... You can watch up to 1080p and most dramas are on it. If you're on PC/Mac you can also download them. I use mobile, it's good enough on my Note 8 but it doesn't stretch out to 18:9 so yeah, here you go: https://goplay.anontpp.com/ , but if that doesn't work, here is the original link: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/KDRAMA/comments/5o2lld/i_created_this_website_that_streams_kdramas_in_hd/ . I had this same question a few days ago so happy to share the link!
tudou dot com
They will have pretty much anything. All menus are in Chinese.
Thank you, but I don't think it has subtitles? I'm trying to watch something, but it doesn't let me, so I don't think that will be an option.
I don't know. It's a Chinese site that was the biggest pirate streaming site in the world at one point. I don't use it because I think streaming sort of sucks and I don't read Chinese.
Viki.com, most Korean dramas, for free in all their platforms.
I used to watch dramas ( both k and c ) on kisskh or cinego . But of them are down right now .
Are there any websites to watch dramas for free ( watch / download ) ????
Plzz recommend some ....i really want to watch such good love ....
YouTube has some great ones.
Dailymotion… I think that’s what it’s called.
Dailymotion is a good range and variety of kdramas but the quality LOL
not much c dramas tho too
I only watch on YouTube lol, besides my subscription services
Viki (tons of free content)
YouTube (copyrighted music is occasionally muted)
IQiyi (tho there’s less free content nowadays)
It is not an website. You can search your favorite dramas in the app Telegram and download them.
Just search the drama name up?
Yes. To be more specific I search: (drama title) eng sub to avoid subtitles in another languages
Do you know Fansubs? There are many groups of volunteers translating asian subtitles and you can also subscribe to them. Anyway these people post the episodes translated. It is good to be in the groups in case we are not looking for something specific. You will find these groups once you read the results from your search.
Andyday is very good and even sflix
Goplay discord server
Where can I watch Asian dramas for free?
It depends where are you from? I’m from Southeast Asia we got Viu its free but with a few ads
Thanks!
You can try Viki, Kocowa, and YouTube has some too. I’ve used Dramax24 for downloads, and it’s pretty good.
Thanks!
Youtube has a lot up actually, with subs. If you have Ublock origin (ad blocker) than it's better than watching on Viki.
I quite like kissasian.sh too
Hello guys,
So I am watching cdramas for years, but lately WeTVs and iQiyis content became VIP.
It's really not affordable to pay yearly submission for 2 platforms. I wanted to ask if you have any other suggestions I know like dramacool and viki btw is not the most ethical thing to turn in these sites but if there is no other way ....
Thank you ☺️
Viki has some free content, but i think it is ok to pay since it is rekatively a low price for the great choice we have...
Viki is a legitimate site, owned by Rakuten, and they license all their dramas. Other than that if you don't want to pay, your only other option is Youtube which also has a lot of dramas for free.
You are right about viki !!! My fault. I know YouTube has many... But I recently found out that most have been also removed from there. I think from now one everything will go vip.
If you use VPN you can watch a lot of free dramas on YouTube.
Because the companies are losing money - they even laid off a bunch of people. They were charging in China for fast access but the government squashed that.. so they now are having us pay. But really they need to make money somehow so it's understandable..
Just want to mention that iqyi doesn't have any free on youtube except a few episodes then you have to go to web or app and pay ... bit me a couple of times. Ugh. But I watch tons on wetv, yoku, etc.
Late reply but yeah, they usually tend to have no more than 4 episodes on youtube.
iqiyi and youku (probably mangotv too?) youtube channel has monthly subscription. you can check them out.
Wait dont get the more premium VIP, its not worth lol if you dont want 4K or 5 device
Just get the standard VIP, 2 devices and 1080p is good enough
There are 2 tiers of VIP if you dont know in iqiyi
Unlike VIKI, Standard VIP gets all the show
Iqiyi is dirt cheap in my country, like 17$ per year
Aside from free contents on YouTube, Viki, Tubi, tvbanywherena, asiancrush, Amazon Video (if already a Prime member) also try:
Viu but in US set VPN to HK/SG/PH/TH/MY
Subbers websites (remove underscore _ symbol):
Sometimes I do a monthly subscription to either iQiyi or Tencent(WeTV) then cancel after binge watching newly added dramas-- this way I am not paying for both service during the same month(s) Lol
You can check out mydramalist if you haven't yet, not to watch but to find a link where to watch a specific drama or any information in the comments section.
Thank you so much for this info.!!!
Hey everyone!
I’ve recently gotten into Japanese dramas and I’m loving the storytelling and unique vibes compared to K-dramas or Western shows. I’m especially into romance, slice of life, or mystery genres—but open to anything with a good plot and decent acting.
I’m currently looking for free websites where I can watch J-dramas with English subtitles. I know a lot of popular dramas are geo-restricted or behind paywalls, so I’m hoping the community here can recommend some reliable, safe, and updated sites.
Bonus points if the site has: • A good collection (both classic and recent dramas) • Minimal ads or popups • Mobile-friendly interface
Any suggestions? Also curious if any of you use specific apps or extensions to help with subs or video playback quality.
Thanks in advance!
https://tbcpl.lol Has quite a few streaming sites, it's sort of a scavenger hunt since you might have to look at a few sites to find a specific show with the dub/sub you want. There's tons of ads. Get uBlock Origin browser extension, it’s free and works flawlessly.
Thank you bro It’s Working
Yaaay happy couch potato-ing
thank you.
Kissasian.video
Does anyone knows how to watch weak class hero season 2 for free I searche everywhere hellpp
It just stopped working right now. Is there any other that you know of??
asianflix
It just stopped working right now. Is there any other that you know of??
Me to i dont know why
Just curious - what are your methods right now in watching Chinese/Asian dramas and movies? I'm trying to help my mom out who watches the latest dramas but a lot of the sites have shut down. She mainly uses her ipad to cast via chromecast but many of these chinese sites require VIP accounts to view in 720p or without ads (and there are tons of them). One of her friends suggest using VCHANNEL and adding a server http://allrss.se/dramas but the app keeps crashing on the ipad. I tried using the links in the sub-bar but tons are filled with ads that make it very difficult to watch on an ipad. Thanks!
viki, netflix, iqiyi, mgtv, wetv app. there are also alot of cdramas subbed on youtube.
Viki, netflix, youtube, kissasian, dramanice, dramacool
I usually use Viki, but it can be kinda buggy and frustrating - for example yesterday it wouldn't start playing the show after it finished playing ads, which meant I couldn't watch the show. I'll definitely start looking for other platforms that have subtitles.
This happens to me all the time. No amount of restarts fixes it
It is so frustrating
If she understands Chinese, YouTube has so many Chinese dramas in full quality on what I assume are official channels. Just search the drama name
Beside Amazon Prime and Netflix, Viki has 90% of all the titles on my to Watch List
Just out of curiosity, I want to know what websites people use to watch dramas. Especially the newer and rarer sites. feel free to share.
KissAsia
best place to get best Asian Drama. Most are Eng sub as well.
Netflix, Viki, kocowa, and iQIYI are the main places I watch
I'm all over the place depending on the country, genre, popularity and how accessible the drama i want to watch is. For example it is easier to get kdramas as opposed to jdramas.
So i will generally find what i want to watch next in different places including fansubbers, legit /parallel sites.
For example, i have been surprised by how Thai Channel 3 has some latest lakorn on their Youtube channel
I agree- I can’t find many Thai shows unless they are fansubbed somewhere on the internet other than traditional streaming. I’ve had good luck using BiliBili. I’m not sure if that is a good site but I’ve found a lot there.
Yeah, fansubbers are the true MVPs and legends in the whole "Asian" content game. Some of them have been doing it since way back when it was not even cool to follow or watch Asian dramas. Got so much respect for their timeless effort and try to follow them as much as possible. Before Netflix, fansubbers were (lol).
The problem with BiliBili and some of these sites is that they profit over stolen fansubber content. While, fansubbers are technically stealing at least they put effort into translating and timing while the other just uploads to benefit.
newer and rarer sites.
You can google "[Title] ep 1 eng sub" to find those.
Kissasian since I look for Japanese medieval dramas.
