Incremental and Idle Games
For those who enjoy checking in multiple times a day and collecting rewards, incremental games are highly recommended. These games often feature idle mechanics where progress continues even when you're not actively playing. Examples include "OSRS" (Old School RuneScape), "Pixel Starships," and "WarUniverse," which offer extensive grinding opportunities [1:3]. Additionally, "Melvor Idle" is praised for its engaging grind
[3:7].
Community and Long-Term Engagement
Games with strong community features and long progression paths are ideal for players looking for social interaction and extended gameplay. "Clash of Clans" is frequently mentioned for its guild systems and events that offer plenty of quests and raids [2:4]. "Granblue Fantasy" is known for its intense grind and has earned the nickname "Grindblue Farmtasy" due to the extensive farming required
[3:2].
Action and Strategy Games
For players interested in action-packed grinding experiences, "Dead Cells" offers a challenging yet rewarding gameplay loop where strategy and skill are essential [3:5]. "Magic: The Gathering Arena" provides strategic card battles that require thoughtful deck building and can become quite addictive
[4:3].
RPGs and Adventure Games
Role-playing games like "Disgaea" allow players to level characters up to extreme levels, such as 9999, and deal massive damage, making it a quintessential grind game [3:1]. "Titan Quest" and "Exiled Kingdoms" are notable mentions for RPG fans seeking endless gear upgrades and monster battles
[5:2].
Recommendations Beyond Discussions
While many games have been suggested, it's crucial to consider your personal preferences regarding gameplay style and community involvement. If you enjoy tactical challenges, exploring mobile versions of popular PC games like "Diablo Immortal" or similar alternatives might be worth considering. Additionally, keeping an eye on new releases and updates can introduce fresh grinding opportunities tailored to your interests.
I enjoy the grind, like checking in multiple times a day, and collecting money while i was away. Id like if i can play it without wifi and have something to collect or some end goal of being the best or strongest. Games ive so far found: monster legends my singing monsters and mlp mobile. Also something thats ftp. Anyone know of anything that specific?
There is an idle mmo that fits your description. Just Google "idle mmo"
OSRS
Pixelstarships
WarUniverse
40k Tacticus
Shakes&Fidget
Chaos&Conquest
Star Wars galaxy of hero’s
Best game
Any game that says includes in-game purchases..
I think you're looking for incremental games.
My main game is currently Whiteout Survival. I play it with my wife and enjoy it for what it is, but I need something a little more for a side game that may turn into a main game.

Thank you for whatever suggestions you may have. I just can't seem to find anything to scratch the itch (Marvel Puzzle Quest was last month's hail mary and my god that got boring quick - it's just not dynamic enough).
The tower - idle tower defense?
Isn’t whiteout survival a p2w game ?
I keep a small $10/mo budget for that game and am a member of the top alliance on our server. I get each new character eventually. So, that works for me.
Clash of clans
I am kind of curious myself. can I join ya?
Warcodes
Currently I have a lot of time, and I want you guys to ask, what are currently the most games that you can sink hours and hours in because you want the maximum of all your stats. Something like this? Any good game?
Granblue Fantasy is called Grindblue Farmtasy for a reason
Epic seven will really leave you farming just for the perfect gear
Ive heard alot of good things about melvor idle.
I played this for months, can recommend :). Getting to end-game takes allot of time, and grind.
Disgaea is just released. Its identity is grind, you can get character to lv9999 and do trillion of dmg. As for addictive, it depends on your taste
Top bad it's a typical gacha game with a hundred currencies
Also top bad it's a JRPG fighting style and not a SRPG like the original game
There's Disgaea 1 remaster on android
Its not up on Google Play for me still :/
you can use an US account download the game
Grinding in a positive way = Dead Cells
Is this game hard? The video on the store makes it look so.
It's definitely not idle; you need to be sharp
Regular enemies can end you quickly if you're being careless and there are various "trade-off" opportunities such as breaking open a door instead of paying the fee to get the goodies behind, at the cost of a curse that causes you to die in one hit unless you kill X enemies first. Fortunately, the game gives you a lot of tools to use at range and the grind overall feels rewarding and fair.
Great game!
I know he says its not hard, but personally I found it difficult for a few runs. Afterwards you learn the way the enemies function and it becomes dramatically easier.
If I could offer one piece of advice that would have served me well.... DONT JUST UNLOCK ANY OLD WEAPON!
There are a lot of crap weapons that you'll never want to use. If you unlock them they show up at the vendor/market guy you'll find in and between levels. If you don't unlock them you'll have a smaller pool of the weapons you like.
The first time you play the game, it's not that hard. But it has various difficulty levels in progression which can make the game insane. So when it comes to difficulty, yes, but you'll get good and improve after each runs.
When I was like 13 and m family were on vacation I always had a new downloaded game to grind and I always got exited whenever we got out of the beach to do something I have been waiting all my time on the beach here are some examples :
Magic rush Clash royale Clash of clans Monster legends
Can all help me find some more grindy games
Dead Cells
Siralim Ultimate
Magic the gathering arena. Welcome to your new addiction.
Osrs is legit the only correct answer here
Pokémon unbound
Gotta catch em all
Marvel Snap. Very fun, well balanced, and F2P friendly.
Diablo or Path of Exile would be obvious recommendations, but I can't run those on my phone. Diablo Immortal is also not available in my country. I know of AnimA and another game similar to that, but I forgot its name.
So, any recommendations for what I'm looking? Can be premium or free.
Titan Quest, Exiled Kingdoms, Toram Online, Eternium
Is titan quest good mobile port? I see rating is only 3,6 on google, any idea why?
no clue, looking at reviews at Google Play it seems like a lot of it is technical issues with their device or about the controls
I have the Ultimate version and all is fine so far and I'm enjoying it
Titan Quest Ultimate
Eterspire
It is linear with almost no customization
He asked for grind, I've provided grind
final fantasy: stranger of paradise.
tons of equipment and builds, uncountable hours of farming and enchanting for best items, and especially the dlcs are trying new optimal builds against the hardest difficulty.
but its more soulslike, not like diablo.
edit: just checked im on an android subreddit. woe is me.
Greetings fellas, I'm looking for a mobile game that could finally entertain me for more than a week.
I like gacha, Fantasy, RPG (both action and Turn Based), Strategy and 4X, but I'm open to everything as long as it is a quality game!
Some important factors:
I am not joking here but deep dive in the world of beautiful game of chess. Amazing community, great and funny content on YT, pure PvP, progression is about single character - YOU (analyze your previous games, watch tutorial, discussions on subreddit), no autoplay, play as many games as you want (no stamina ect), no MTs, also variety of modes (like atomic chess, puzzles, or random chess). You can use chess.com (freemium) or Lichess (free).
+1 for chess, I play and try many new mobile games but every day I'll have a game or 2 of chess
I'm sorry to answer so late after making my question, anyway I already play chess on chess.com by time to time, I'm still a newbie but I'm trying to expand my openings!
It is great but I'm looking for something more gamey I guess? Thanks for your time in answering me tho! I appreciate a lot and will for sure now try to be a better player ^^
I agree that Chess is great but its definitely not for everyone. It can be frustrating to play, if you don't actually study tactics and learn how to play early, mid and end game. It looks simple but has a lot of depth. You must learn to plan ahead more than 2 moves and not just for your own pieces but opponents as well, or you will be just moving pieces by gut feeling and occasionally win by luck and have no clue how that happened. So, it can be fun but road to it finally being fun is a chore. I rather watch good matches with explanation of each player's strategy, than play it myself.
Once Human coming to mobile very soon, should be fun.
As also a PC gamer when a game is playable on PC I always prefer to play it on PC as I would feel like I'm just playing a watered down version on mobile.
Thanks for the suggestion anyway, maybe it is particulary well made even for mobile, I'll try it even if to be honest it doesn't seem my cup of tea but who knows, prejudices are never good ^^
Yea, I'm just hoping it runs ok and isn't another cassette beasts
Vita Fighters, it's a mobile fighting game that plays like a real fighting game vs other mobile fgs. Give it a shot.
I played in the past some fighing games on mobile (my favourite on PC are Soul Calibur and MK) but always found 'em a bit boring in the long time, I will give Vita Fighters a try then! Thank you for your suggestion :3
Albion online
Played it many years ago, sadly not my cup of tea in the end but I recognize that it is an amazing game indeed! Thank you for your suggestion maybe I will give it a second chance in the future :D
You might wanna try Farbo World – 3D Maze.
It’s not your typical gacha or 4X, but hear me out:
Fully free, no ads, no stamina timers.
Story-driven progression across different themed worlds (each with unique enemies, traps, and a boss).
No auto-play nonsense – it’s all about skill and movement.
Multiplayer included (Paint Rush, Race Craze, Battle Royale), so there’s some PvP fun too.
And yeah, the dev's building it out with real lore/worldbuilding vibes – not just skin-deep stuff.
It’s kind of a hidden gem that plays more like an indie adventure-puzzle maze with arcade roots, but it’s got that ‘just one more level’ grip.
Im looking for a grindy mobile game with a combat and loot system maybe? If not thats fine, im also looking for preferably potrait games, though if landscape thats fine
Another Eden if you like JRPG stories.
the game is wonderful however I'd only suggest if you are into the storyline and don't mind reading through a bunch because it has no skip or fast forward function. gameplay is by far one of the best JRPG mobile games I've played though
Dead Cells
No P2W mechanic, grind some cells, die, learn, repeat. One of the few games out there that is truly skill based.
I highly recommend Pathos. It's a free rogue like with zero ads and 7~ years of development.
Play Store Description:
Pathos is a dungeon adventure game with the soul of Nethack.
Pathos is a roguelike adventure game inspired by the rule set from Nethack. Choose from 13 classes and journey deep into the dungeon. Descend to hell to defeat your nemesis before escaping the dungeon with all the loot you can carry!
I will watch this thread with great interest.
I play AFK Arena. Grindy but too P2W for me.
Gosh I love gacha games but trying to find a good F2P portrait gacha game is torturous LOL
Do you know any? Lol
linear quest (portrait)
darkrise (landscape, but actually fun imo)
For context, I mean like DB Legends, The Asphalt Series, Injustice 2 Mobile, Smashy Road etc. Where you unlock or summon for a variety of characters / cars. Are there any others like this or any that have treated y’all well, yk, not spamming the life out of us with ads? (Db legends has no ads and same for asphalt and Injustice thank goodness) but anyways. I’m in the search for new apps like that, suggestions would be appreciated!
Try f.e., Endless Sky, Space rpg 3, and then, Out There series, and Galaxy Genome. Space rangers:Legacy also requires a lot of grinding. And in the graphic and sound aspects the game is made superbly. But this is not a recommendation (I just gave information about the existence of such a game).
[dev android] if you are willing to alpha test, Vrakys is in early access while I finish polishing. Ui/graphics are in need of some repair but otherwise gameplay is solid. Rpg adventure, you have a main character and can get 2 additional friends/party members, each of which you have to grind up their abilities by getting XP in battles. System is turn based with a symbol-crafting mechanic which means after you pick your ability you need to draw the symbol (fast and accurate) to determine the outcome/potency of said ability
More abilities you have grinding the stronger you are so those grinding all will have an advantage PvP
F2P, no ads, not P2W, looking to build a community of players
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ca.simplydreya.vrakys
I actually like it. The background music is soothing and the game reminds me of "back in the day". Great job.
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words :) if you'd like to join my community I'm trying to get going, you can type 'discord' in game (or see link in my profile). Still lots of UI updates to come!
There’s Sakura school simulator and solar smash and BitLife and Minecraft and GTA San Andreas and MadOut2 which it’s similar to GTA San Andreas along with Sakura school simulator as well!
I’m looking for suggestions of iOS games that are really chill but really grindy. I’ve been playing RuneScape 2/3/countless rsps’ for years upon years but as of late I have hardly any time to access a pc, and no Android devices to play osrs mobile :(.
If you know anything about Runescape, I have always been a ‘skiller’ (someone who spends their time leveling non-combat skills and gathering resources manually with those skills such as mining or woodcutting, rather than relying on combat to obtain resource drops). I do not really find much enjoyment with combat, especially pvp, and especially not when it comes to mobile interfaces. Considering this, can anyone suggest games that are either very similar to the extremely grindy skill aspects of RS or just sort of like resource gathering and leveling/building, etc?
I happened upon this quaint little game called “Dreamdale” that was actually fun for a bit. I watched a couple of ads to get a little bundle of resources and what not, and then boom…they pissed me off by making me watch an ad at every single step of achievement and on like a 5-minute timer too. The typical “force ads down their throats until they’re pissed enough to pay” model and $8 is definitely not a lot of money but it’s the principle of it all and they’ve already pissed me off.
Text based crime rpg, been around a long time and still going strong https://www.torn.com/2223351
Nice game! Just started 3 weeks ago. Only money is a problem the first 15 levels.
Check, are for IOS Ancients Reborn. Its definitelly good rpg, in plane of grnding -its nice. Also Curse of Aros, Warsphere.
I couldn’t find ancients reborn so it might not be available on iOS, but I checked out course of Aros and I’m loving so far, thanks!
Idle mmo
That’s been pretty fun and it’s got some comedic elements. Thanks
come play ark pve
battle cats is a GREAT grinding game that's also kinda a gacha game if you'd be interested in that sort of thing, i don't usually fw the whole gacha thing but i love battlecats and have loved it, as for a more rpg style game i'm not sure- dungeon hunter 5 was a hack n slash that is probably kinda grindy, don't remember much about it though
I’m basically just looking for a game my friend and I can play until like 12am. Currently we’re just playing a game called Brawl Stars but it does get boring. We’re both on iOS, any suggestions?
If you like anime 7 deadly sins grand x , is really good.
Terraria
Check out Frag Pro Shooter! Inventive gameplay, fun characters, can play with a teammate in one mode.
It is more of a single player game though.
8 ball pool
Cod mobile. Tons of daily, weekly, and month challenges; battle pass progression; personal progression; weapon progression; good amount of multiplayer modes, a decent battle royale, ranked mode, zombies may or may not be coming back.
Best mobile games for grinding and leveling up
Key Considerations for Grinding and Leveling Up in Mobile Games:
Game Genre: Choose games that are designed for long-term engagement, such as RPGs (Role-Playing Games), MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online RPGs), or idle games, which often have mechanics that reward grinding.
Progression System: Look for games with a clear and rewarding progression system. Games that offer experience points (XP), skill trees, or character upgrades can keep you motivated.
Community and Multiplayer Features: Games with active communities or multiplayer elements can enhance the grinding experience through teamwork, trading, or competition.
Daily Quests and Events: Games that offer daily quests, events, or challenges can provide consistent opportunities for leveling up and rewards.
In-Game Economy: Consider games with a balanced in-game economy that allows you to earn currency or resources through grinding, which can be used for upgrades or new characters.
Top Recommendations:
Genshin Impact: An open-world action RPG with a rich story, character leveling, and daily commissions that encourage grinding for resources and experience.
Raid: Shadow Legends: A turn-based RPG that features a deep hero collection system, allowing for extensive grinding and leveling through dungeons and arena battles.
AFK Arena: An idle RPG that allows you to progress even when you're not actively playing. It has a simple grind mechanic and a variety of heroes to collect and level up.
Monster Legends: A monster breeding and battling game where you can grind for resources, breed new monsters, and level them up through battles.
Call of Duty: Mobile: For FPS fans, this game offers a leveling system for weapons and characters, with daily challenges and events to keep the grind engaging.
Recommendation: If you enjoy RPGs, Genshin Impact is highly recommended for its expansive world and engaging gameplay. For a more casual experience, AFK Arena is excellent as it allows you to progress without constant active play.
