Im going to new york later this month and i was wondering what the must go sneaker stores are. Thanks!
Flight Club, Round Two, Stadium Goods, Kith, the Nike and Adidas Flagship stores on 5th Avenue, House of Hoops on 34th St, Dover Street Market, Extra Butter and NikeLab 21 Mercer.
thanks for the list ill see what i can fit in
A lot of these stores are nearby each other and subway system makes traveling around easy. Start from SoHo, you’ll hit a majority of stores as you head uptown.
Flight club
Flight Club, Round Two, Kith, BBC, Ect.. I'm from a small town so even the larger Nike, Adidas, footlocker are soooo much better.
ok thanks man
No problem, enjoy your trip!
Hello r/sneakers
I am going to nyc the 22nd and wanted to know the best places that sell sneakers since i have a lot of free time to visit them, so i hope you will recommend me a lot of stores that i can go to
Thank you
kith, extra butter, cncpts, flight club, stadium goods, round 2, snkrflea, nike nyc, nike soho, nikelab 21m, adidas flagship soho, adidas flagship by grand central. so man my to choose from and that’s not even all of them
NYC got the best stores, check out the new Nike store. They have the Noise Cancellation Packs and you can customize them there at their customize bar. The Air Jordan 1 Noise cancellation soo dope.
Yeah i heard NYC had the best ones, i added nike store to the list
Stadium goods and Flight club for browsing. Kith (if you have the time to go the Bklyn store is less overrun), extra butter, Atmos, the Nike flagship. So much to choose from.
Round 2 as well
Flight club, concepts, sneaker bar, extra butter. There’s tons. NYC has a great streetwear and sneaker culture
Thank you so much, i'm making a list and putting these on, appreciate it
I am moving to nyc soon and I love buying new shoes. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for shops or events where you can cop some god shoes for a reasonable price. Goat and Stockxx are way too expensive
If you're willing to camp out, I always see lines around the block near 41st/Broadway for foot locker and also JD sports.
All of the locations seem to be like that for new releases.
I don’t mind doing that. I’ll look into JD sports. I need to figure out how to get there lol
This is kind of a weird question. Shoes cost the same everywhere unless there is a sale so what brands do you like and what is your price range?
No I mean like Jordan’s and stuff. Like they aren’t available in usual stores. So the prices wildly vary
Ooooo lol. The world of Jordan’s eludes me but no doubt you will find someone in the comments with the right knowledge. People in NYC nut over Jordan’s
Aren't there some good stores on West 34th st?
Kith my boy
Fight Club, Extra Butter, Round Two
Generally speaking no matter where you go, if you're after the same brand or model of sneakers it's going to be the same price. This is why I just stick to Journey's and Foot Locker for basic ass sneaks haha
That definitely makes sense. But sometimes the price so shockingly different that it’s almost worth it to look in a 100 places.
I usually get my basic sneakers from the brand website using student discount or some sort of deals.
Sneakersnstuff in Chelsea, kith, round two, some of the footlockers in Manhattan carry heat
I need to explore the chelsea area for sure. That place and soho sounds amazing
Hey everyone. I recently moved from Chicago to NYC, and I was wondering if someone could help me out with a list of sneakers stores in NYC. In Chicago I frequented Round Two, Saint Alfred, RSVP, Boneyard, and Notre, and I was wondering what types of similar stores exist here in New York.
I know Round Two exists here as well, and that Extra Butter and KITH are here, but I’m curious what other stores there are. This goes for both retailers where I could sign up for raffles, and places like Round Two and Boneyard where I could shop for used or traded-in pairs. Please lmk!
For reference I’m near Soho.
Snkrflea I don't live in NYC but I know of this store
Tons of sneaker stores at the Fulton street mall. I haven’t been in years but they had great deals.
The other ones I know are Stadium Goods, Flight Club, DSM and Urban Necessities which is apart of American Eagle.
Edit: I forgot about Concepts and Origins as well.
I have been to stadium goods and flight club. What is DSM, and Never heard of urban necessities. I’ll check em out
Dover Street Market, my bad. I usually sign up for their raffles. Oh and there's also sneakersnstuff in the meatpacking district I believe.
Isn’t there an Atmos in NYC too?
Concepts
I know about like Nike, Kith, JD, Footlocker but where are some boutiques or smaller stores? Not expecting to find anything but want to visit as many stores as possible
Uniquehype and round2 are my favorites but just take a walk in SoHo and you'll find alot you never knew about
Bet thank you! It’s just overwhelming to look at the google map view of all the stores lol
FCNY, Stadium Goods
I’m going to both just to stare at some grails but I was hoping for mainly retail spots
Flight Club. OVO store.
Visiting from Chicago, shooting a documentary where I rank the best of the best in NYC. Amazed by the amount of boutiques here and would love to hear your favorites.
I know its probably on your list, but kith soho is really nice, lots of clothes and shoes
Hey guys,
Are there any sneaker stores in Manhattan that you would recommend me to go?
Just went to Flight Club and think that it's just stupid that they have a different price in store than in the website (40 dollars more). I'm from Europe so I don't know any stores outside of this ones and Stadium Goods.
Do you have any recommendations?
Thank you in advance!
RIF NY just opened on 69 Mercer. Go there instead.
Quick Google search maybe bro
There’s a place called Laced Up on Broadway and there’s a couple other places right by there as well. Then down in the Lower East Side, there’s District One at Stanton and Essex with Round Two across the street. Best prices are District One and Round Two.
Thank you very much! I will take a look!
We live in a small town area where there aren't many good sneaker stores. I mean, we have the basic chain stores, but rarely any popular drops. We're taking the sneakerhead teens (and father) to NYC this weekend. Certainly there has to be some good shops to visit.
Any recommendations, either for a shop with all of the hype shoes that we can't afford resale? Or better, unique shops with affordable, but decent kicks maybe we can't get in our small town?
I dunno about affordable but these are some shops to check out:
Flight club
District One
Restocked
Kith
atmos
Laced Up
Sole Stage
Nike SOHO
Hype Club
Extra Butter
I know atmos is closing but can’t remember the day
To be honest they're all rip offs, if you just wanna go and visit then maybe hit up flightclub/laced up/concepts which aren't far from each other. You can check out eventbrite and see if there's any sneaker conventions going on. Do believe there's one going on Sunday the 12 at resorts world in queens.
Thanks. I think they'll enjoy the visit just to see. But our wallets don't want them to get their heart set on anything 😂😂. Incase hoping maybe there'd be a decent shop with less of the hype, but more unique, shoes, so we could each get a pair.
We're leaving Saturday night unfortunately. But I'll look for others.
Flight Club.
Does flight club still have a location in nyc ? I heard they closed
Thanks!
You probably already know this but..
Any resale shop is going to be grossly overpriced. Go in, take a look for fun, but do not buy anything.
And double just for being in nyc. Yeah, that's what I figured. I was just hoping there was a gem somewhere. Window shopping is still cool though.
I’ve not been to NYC but some of the resale shops that others have mentioned have locations in other cities that I have been to. Places like Flight Club and Solestage definitely don’t mind if you’re just there to look.
I was in NYC and hit some boutiques while I was there. Kith was easily my favorite. Cool shoes, including stuff like their Kith Classics, and their prices are retail. They also serve awesome ice cream.
Sounds like we should add that to our list. It looks like that area has a bunch of brands, my daughter used to be big into BAPE and Supreme. I don't know if they're still popular or if she's too old for that, but might be good to swing around those places and others. Maybe we can afford a Keychain or something 😂. If not, then just pictures and experiences.
I will be visiting NY for a week with my wife, and I would like to visit a good store with lots of options of sneakers for training. Recommendations in Manhattan will be appreciated as I’ll be staying around Time Square.
Thanksss
Paragon Sports near Union Square
REI has a reasonable shoe selection, albeit a bit more orientated to trails and hiking.
Macy’s.
Training for what? If you are looking for running shoes there are plenty of dedicated running shoe stores.
I practice boxing! So I need something like "the opposite" for running because balance is better than absorbing the running impact.
I never considered that! How did you get into boxing?
Hoka on 22 & 5th
New Balance on 20 & 5th
Paragon Union Sq
Fleet Feet on 14
Foot Locker on 14
Adidas and Nike in Soho
Brooklyn Running on Grand in Williamsburg
Asics store in Meatpacking
Visiting in August from Toronto. Want to know what are some culture classic spots or just spots that look sick. If any of them are decent priced (pls consider the CAD to USD difference lol) that's a plus
Price depends on the shoe.
Flight Club, Stadium Goods, Extra Butter, SNS, Jimmy Jazz will always be a classic, Kith.
Hat Club if you dig caps. Ludlow and Orchard Streets on the LES for general street wear shopping.
Thank you bro
Terms of price I'm not looking to go over $150 USD (this is like $200+ CAD lmao). Not looking for any crazy pairs but would be good to know which store has best variety?
150 is gonna be hard at a legit sneaker head store Boss. I think you might be window-shopping at the places listed.....the Nike shop on 5th Ave and or Jimmy Jazz are gonna be your best bet.
