A lot of these stores are nearby each other and subway system makes traveling around easy. Start from SoHo, you’ll hit a majority of stores as you head uptown.

NYC got the best stores, check out the new Nike store. They have the Noise Cancellation Packs and you can customize them there at their customize bar. The Air Jordan 1 Noise cancellation soo dope.

Stadium goods and Flight club for browsing. Kith (if you have the time to go the Bklyn store is less overrun), extra butter, Atmos, the Nike flagship. So much to choose from.

Best place to buy sneakers

I am moving to nyc soon and I love buying new shoes. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for shops or events where you can cop some god shoes for a reasonable price. Goat and Stockxx are way too expensive

If you're willing to camp out, I always see lines around the block near 41st/Broadway for foot locker and also JD sports.

All of the locations seem to be like that for new releases.

I don’t mind doing that. I’ll look into JD sports. I need to figure out how to get there lol

This is kind of a weird question. Shoes cost the same everywhere unless there is a sale so what brands do you like and what is your price range?

No I mean like Jordan’s and stuff. Like they aren’t available in usual stores. So the prices wildly vary

Fight Club, Extra Butter, Round Two

Generally speaking no matter where you go, if you're after the same brand or model of sneakers it's going to be the same price. This is why I just stick to Journey's and Foot Locker for basic ass sneaks haha

3 upvotes on reddit
Shadow_league_1111 · OP · 3 years ago

That definitely makes sense. But sometimes the price so shockingly different that it’s almost worth it to look in a 100 places.

I usually get my basic sneakers from the brand website using student discount or some sort of deals.

Sneaker Shops in NYC?

Posted by cl00006 · in r/Sneakers · 5 years ago

Hey everyone. I recently moved from Chicago to NYC, and I was wondering if someone could help me out with a list of sneakers stores in NYC. In Chicago I frequented Round Two, Saint Alfred, RSVP, Boneyard, and Notre, and I was wondering what types of similar stores exist here in New York.

I know Round Two exists here as well, and that Extra Butter and KITH are here, but I’m curious what other stores there are. This goes for both retailers where I could sign up for raffles, and places like Round Two and Boneyard where I could shop for used or traded-in pairs. Please lmk!

For reference I’m near Soho.

Sneaker stores in Manhattan, NY?

Posted by [deleted] · in r/Sneakers · 3 years ago

Hey guys,

Are there any sneaker stores in Manhattan that you would recommend me to go?

Just went to Flight Club and think that it's just stupid that they have a different price in store than in the website (40 dollars more). I'm from Europe so I don't know any stores outside of this ones and Stadium Goods.

Do you have any recommendations?

Thank you in advance!

There’s a place called Laced Up on Broadway and there’s a couple other places right by there as well. Then down in the Lower East Side, there’s District One at Stanton and Essex with Round Two across the street. Best prices are District One and Round Two.

Sneaker shops NYC

Posted by Accomplished-Bad3380 · in r/Sneakers · 1 year ago

We live in a small town area where there aren't many good sneaker stores. I mean, we have the basic chain stores, but rarely any popular drops. We're taking the sneakerhead teens (and father) to NYC this weekend. Certainly there has to be some good shops to visit.

Any recommendations, either for a shop with all of the hype shoes that we can't afford resale? Or better, unique shops with affordable, but decent kicks maybe we can't get in our small town?

To be honest they're all rip offs, if you just wanna go and visit then maybe hit up flightclub/laced up/concepts which aren't far from each other. You can check out eventbrite and see if there's any sneaker conventions going on. Do believe there's one going on Sunday the 12 at resorts world in queens.

3 upvotes on reddit
Accomplished-Bad3380 · OP · 1 year ago

Thanks. I think they'll enjoy the visit just to see. But our wallets don't want them to get their heart set on anything 😂😂. Incase hoping maybe there'd be a decent shop with less of the hype, but more unique, shoes, so we could each get a pair.

We're leaving Saturday night unfortunately. But I'll look for others.

You probably already know this but..

Any resale shop is going to be grossly overpriced. Go in, take a look for fun, but do not buy anything.

And double just for being in nyc. Yeah, that's what I figured. I was just hoping there was a gem somewhere. Window shopping is still cool though.

I’ve not been to NYC but some of the resale shops that others have mentioned have locations in other cities that I have been to. Places like Flight Club and Solestage definitely don’t mind if you’re just there to look.

I was in NYC and hit some boutiques while I was there. Kith was easily my favorite. Cool shoes, including stuff like their Kith Classics, and their prices are retail. They also serve awesome ice cream.

7 upvotes on reddit
Accomplished-Bad3380 · OP · 1 year ago

Sounds like we should add that to our list. It looks like that area has a bunch of brands, my daughter used to be big into BAPE and Supreme. I don't know if they're still popular or if she's too old for that, but might be good to swing around those places and others. Maybe we can afford a Keychain or something 😂. If not, then just pictures and experiences.

Price depends on the shoe.

Flight Club, Stadium Goods, Extra Butter, SNS, Jimmy Jazz will always be a classic, Kith.

Hat Club if you dig caps. Ludlow and Orchard Streets on the LES for general street wear shopping.

150 is gonna be hard at a legit sneaker head store Boss. I think you might be window-shopping at the places listed.....the Nike shop on 5th Ave and or Jimmy Jazz are gonna be your best bet.
