Great breakdown!
One thing I’d add is that businesses don’t have to be everywhere at once—sometimes, less is more. Instead of stretching thin across seven platforms, it’s better to focus on 1-3 where your audience actually hangs out and where your content style fits best. If you're an accounting firm, TikTok dances might not be your thing (unless you're REALLY good at it), but killer LinkedIn posts could be.
Also, repurposing content is a game-changer.

Thank you for that list!
Great breakdown of the platforms. From my own experience, picking the right mix depends a lot on where your audience hangs out. I've seen smaller brands find huge success on Instagram by authentically engaging with younger audiences through Reels and Stories. Facebook is still strong for community building, especially when combined with targeted ads for conversion.
For anyone targeting the B2B space, LinkedIn is unbeatable. My team has benefited from running targeted campaigns and sharing thought leadership content there. Also, if you're into optimizing engagement across these platforms, consider tools like Buffer or Hootsuite. For businesses looking to leverage Reddit, Pulse for Reddit is a smart tool to streamline engagement there. It really helps if you're aiming to capture an organic audience. Diversifying efforts based on what suits your brand best is key.
I see all these platforms in this way.
According to you, which one is the best platform for Online Marketing?
Honestly, there's no one-size-fits-all answer it really depends on your product, target audience, and funnel stage. For intent-based marketing, Google Ads still leads because users are actively searching. But if you're building awareness or pushing lifestyle products, Meta and TikTok dominate with engaging, visual content. LinkedIn is a must for high-ticket B2B campaigns, especially if you're in SaaS or consulting. Pinterest often gets overlooked, but for niches like home decor, fashion, or DIY, it drives surprisingly high-converting traffic. The best platform isn’t about popularity, it’s about alignment with your audience behavior and campaign
Great breakdown! The best platform really depends on your target audience and goals. I've found success with a mix of Google Ads and LinkedIn for B2B. But lately, I've been exploring less competitive niches. For example, I created Passive Income Job Boards, which taps into specific job markets without relying heavily on these big ad platforms. It's been eye-opening to see how different strategies work for different business models. Have you considered exploring niche-specific platforms or methods beyond these major players?
Best platform totally depends on your business type and target audience. For B2B, LinkedIn works really well. If you're targeting younger audiences, Instagram or TikTok is great. Google Ads is also solid for quick visibility. Honestly, using a mix of platforms usually gives the best results.
Thoughts?
According to me the most widely used and useful platform is the Instagram, and there can be many reasons for this as well. Instagram is rich with relevant content, niche specific users, high quality images and much more. You are sure to benefit from here, especially if you are a marketer or business person. There are so much of marketing strategies that is taking place on social media platforms like these, and you should try your hands on it, for at least once. They are also being supported with the release of many tools all which have come to provide you with better social media experience. You can simply increase your brand awareness, demonstrate your company culture and also contribute to increase customer loyalty and check out new products and services.
Thanks
Marketing needs and best practices are different for every company. At the very least, we need info like customer segment, goal for this marketing campaign, product/service, ability to produce consistent content, etc. to give decent advice to you.
Thanks for the tips. I want to know if there's any new niche social sites for digital marketing other than Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube etc. which might be not so famous but do have high traffic and users.
Thanks
You can try Quora. Its the hidden secret of the internet and the cost to is way too low compared to Facebook and Twitter. Quora has a monthly unique viewers user base which is much higher compared to Facebook and Twitter.
Thanks for nice suggestion. Quora is really helpful in this case as it has lots of tech related topics and Q&As.
True that. Its a great source of traffic for blog or YouTube channel 🍻
It depends on the product or service. And your target group. And the manpower you can throw at it. For us it's Instagram and Facebook. Carpenter. Local marketing. One man job.
Thanks, for shopping/deals websites, especially for televisions, gaming laptops etc. Are there niche high traffic social sites/forums related to technology/gaming/TVs like subreddits here. Thanks
Pinterest. Have a day to just schedule LOADS of posts to social media. They create back links for your website and it’s like a image based search engine. Use info graphics from your blogs and articles
Tiktok and Reddit
LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube, and WhatsApp
Consistency is the key to grow in social media platform. That's why if some body hire a person for social media post creation with graphic design then both parties might be benefited.
So which social media platform will perform best for promotion of this kind of social media post creation and management services?
Social media has become a great place for promoting a business. Social offers have a large number of users which allows the businesses to target potential customers accordingly through the help of strategic social media campaigns and paid campaigns.
Even though every social media has large user base, but out of the big 3 i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, facebook has the highest number of users nearing about 3 billion users. Such a huge volume of users gives companies the freedom to strategically carve out their customer base. Furthermore, the paid advertisement rates of Facebook is much less compared to those of Twitter and LinkedIn which makes it more economical compared to other social media websites.
I can recommend you, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest are very Big and powerful way for promotion, This is the platform where people are traveling online for a log time and through this way we can promote our things very well. we need to do good content or post for our people.
Facebook still? For wich demography? Here in Brazil I see a kind of evation from the 30-50yo middle class group. (Not confirmed by any study, just a personal assessment)
>Facebook still? For wich demography? Here in Brazil I see a kind of evation from the 30-50yo middle class group. (Not confirmed by any study, just a personal assessment)

If ad copy is kind of motion graphics and or only graphic design then Instagram might be good.... what do you think...?
And Instagram's audience (mostly young) like images and short videos. And well research #tag gives organic reach also.
Do you think this strategy will help to get better CTR?
Yes, you can also go through Instagram if you have good post for Instagram then you will able for receive good traffic.
Twitter has proved to drive most of the Social Media Promotion share. There you can promote your product/website/event to a largest public and perhaps in a more engaging way as compared to other platform.
thanks for sharing.. i need to pay attention to Twitter now...
Instagram as a skill representation/profile and pinterest for audience reach/niche searches (connect back to instagram profile)
This seems like a solid structured strategy.

As we’re deep into 2025, I wanted to ask the community:
Which online or digital marketing platforms are delivering the best results for you right now?
Based on my own experience so far, I’ve found the most useful platforms to be:
Reddit - great for authentic engagement when done right
LinkedIn - especially for B2B and professional services
Facebook - still relevant for targeted ads and groups
YouTube - long-term visibility and product explainers
But with new tools, shifting algorithms, and changing user behavior, I’m curious:
- What’s working for you?
- Which platform do you recommend most for organic or paid growth?
- Any under-the-radar platforms or strategies you’d suggest in 2025?
Looking forward to learning from your experiences!
The best platform for me , where I work, get clients, build relationships, and connect with amazing people , is LinkedIn, then come Reddit and X. Facebook and Instagram feel too noisy for me. If I had to recommend one, it would definitely be LinkedIn
Not that underrated but we think right now, these options are working really well.
- TikTok Ads: High reach for Gen Z, UGC AND entertaining content performs best, good for brand awareness and top-of-funnel
- SEO and Organic Social (Reels, UGC, Influencers): Educational short-form video drives engagement and you can combine with paid for best results.
reddit works if you contribute more than you plug. real recognizes real.
The top 3 platforms for digital marketing in 2025 are:
Instagram – For reels, ads, and high engagement.
LinkedIn – Best for B2B networking and lead generation.
YouTube (Shorts) – Short videos are driving massive reach.
I’m looking to start running ads for my business but feeling overwhelmed by the options. Each platform seems to have its strengths, and I want to make sure I’m investing in the right one for my goals.
I’d love to hear your insights.
Looking forward to hearing your recommendations!

From a click fraud perspective, here's the click fraud rates by ad network in July 2024:
Overall we recommend Instagram only, as click fraud bots don't really hang out there.
Depends on what you're selling bud.
Jewelry
Instagram ads
For who? Teenage girls? Middle aged women? If you know exactly who you're selling to it's easy to know where to advertise. Then you just need to start cranking out ads of ALL types, because you never know what is going to hit.
Depends on your target market

What social media platform brings you the best results in 2025?
Hey everyone, I'm curious — which social media platform is currently working best for your brand or business? Whether it's TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, or something newer, I’d love to hear what’s giving you the most engagement or conversions lately. Thanks in advance.
For me, Instagram has been the most effective platform for results in 2025, but it didn’t start there.
I initially started creating content on TikTok, which helped me grow visibility and build momentum. From there, I repurposed everything to Instagram, and that’s where my following really took off (currently 100k+). It’s had a huge impact on my business, bringing in clients, collaborations, and consistent leads.
My biggest tip: repost your content across all platforms. What performs well on TikTok or Reels can often work on LinkedIn too, just tailor the tone slightly. For LinkedIn, I focus on more professional insights and behind-the-scenes of running my business. That platform has been great for personal brand-building and has opened doors to working with big brands like Microsoft and Wix.
No matter the platform, what’s made the biggest difference is investing in my personal brand, showing up consistently, sharing both the wins and lessons, and building real trust with my audience.
Hope that helps someone!
LinkedIn hands down… I use NorthLink.co which makes it easier to use effortlessly.
Nice! Haven’t tried NorthLink.co — I’ll check it out. Thanks for the tip!
That is a tricky question because it all comes down to one’s business model and where target audience are. YouTube has been working well for us
Knowing where your audience actually spends time really makes all the difference.
You're going to get a wide variety of answers because it's not a one size fits all. If your targeting boomers then usually it's Facebook or LinkedIn. Genz and such then usually Tiktok or YouTube. But it's all about what you're trying to sell, what your budget is, what type of media you want to use, etc
Exactly it depends on your situation. Care to specify more OP?
I’m in fashion e-commerce (B2C) and mostly trying out TikTok and Pinterest to find what sticks.
Totally agree — depends on the audience and the goal. Appreciate your input!
This. 💯
TikTok, Youtube & Reddit are still underated
