Team Composition
When building a pyro-focused team, it's important to consider the synergy between characters and their elemental reactions. A common suggestion is to pair Pyro characters with Cryo or Hydro units to trigger Melt or Vaporize reactions, respectively. For example, using Rosaria and Lynette alongside Bennett can create a full Melt team, leveraging Lynette's ability to apply Cryo effectively [1:1]. Another popular combination is pairing Pyro MC with Xingqiu for Vaporize reactions
[1:3].
Elemental Reactions
Maximizing elemental reactions is key to increasing damage output in a Pyro team. Vaporize and Melt are particularly effective due to their damage multipliers. To optimize these reactions, ensure your team has characters that can consistently apply Hydro or Cryo elements. Bennett is often recommended for his attack buff and healing capabilities, making him a staple in many Pyro teams [3:2],
[4:1].
Character Roles and Builds
Each character in a Pyro team should have a defined role, whether it be DPS, support, or utility. For instance, Bennett can provide both healing and attack buffs, while Lynette can serve as a Cryo applicator and taunt enemies [1:1]. Building characters with appropriate artifacts and weapons is crucial; for Pyro DPS, focus on increasing Elemental Mastery (EM) and Energy Recharge (ER) to ensure consistent bursts and reactions
[3:3].
Alternative Strategies
For those who dislike mono-Pyro setups, exploring alternative team compositions can offer a fresh experience. Teams like BurnMelt or Chevy Overload utilize Dehya alongside other characters like Wrio, Nahida, or Raiden to create diverse reaction chains [5:2]. Additionally, Furina can act as a sub-DPS in double carry setups with Dehya, providing substantial damage output
[5:7].
Considerations Beyond the Discussions
While these strategies offer a solid foundation, it's also important to tailor your team to your playstyle and available characters. Experimenting with different combinations and adjusting builds based on your roster will help you find the most enjoyable and effective setup. Keep an eye on upcoming banners for potential upgrades to your Pyro team, such as new characters or constellations that enhance synergy.
Any idea on how to make a team for him as dps? these are my characters, and I wish to just use them, currently saving primo for someone else. Thank you in advance, and the more discussion the better.
Your best teams I'd say would be pyro mc, Rosario, Bennet, xingqiu/zhongli
I see, that's great, I've already built them
I personally prefer an over vape team, especially if Bennett is C6, with Xingqiu and Kuki
my bennett is C6, woah, never tried that one, but sounds fun. another unit is up to me or is there a suggestion?
I havent seen anyone suggest this, but my go-to would be Rosaria and Lynette and Bennett. Lynnette is actually really good at applying elements like cryo, and makes a full melt team possible, plus she gives a nice buff to atk with her passive. Her ult is also a taunt so not having a shield isn't that bad, and if you put Bennett circle and Rosaria ult on top of it, circle impact becomes a little less difficult to deal with because enemies will be drawn to it.
woah, I've been meaning to build lynette, is she good at C0? as a support of course
She is, you just need a ton of ER until c4 (like 240% I think)
what about lan yan, I think she gives a shield too
Maybe, but i don't know how well she would be able to spread cryo. I know Lynette does so very well.
Use a cryo unit and Bennett, for the last unit go for whatever you like.
level 1 hu tao ? 😦
😂 I don't remember how I got her, I think I was trying to get a 4 star from her banner, can't remember which
Hello. I am still pretty new to Genshin and I am heavily considering using my guarantee to pull Kinich, to have 2 viable teams.
My current main team is Navia/Xiangling/Bennet/Xilonen
That means a lot of my pyro applicators are used already. Would something like Kinich/PyroMC/Thoma/Iansan be a good team? Or anything else you can recommend? Or is it just better to wait for Mavuika/other banners?
Yeah that should be fine, or change one of the pyros to ororon
Yes mavuika is stronger but u should go for who u like more
Your second team will do just fine, Mavuika's will eventually be an upgrade from PyroMC, but you mostly want a second Pyro to have resonance, eventually if you can give him Bennett instead he'll be very strong.
I just got back into Genshin after a while, and I want to start by building my Pyro Traveller. I mainly used Dendro Lumine for ages, but I've heard Pyro is way stronger, and I'm not sure where to start in order to improve it. I want a DPS build for her so she does a lot of damage on her own, but I also always have hydro characters in my team to vaporise with. Thank you for all the advice :)
Since you're playing vape and using Foliar, I highly suggest using an EM sands, especially if you have Bennett on the team!
Thank you! I wasn't sure if attack or EM was better for me hahah :)
U should aim for around 150% ER to 180% to burst every rotation which is alot better dps wise but feels worse visually
Change Light of Inscision. Mistsplitter is gonna be your best 5 star DPS sword, but there are a few others.
Yeah, this is the only five-star crit sword I have 😭 Maybe I'll try pull Mistsplitter next time it comes. Are there any four-star swords better than Light of Inscision that you know of?
The best 4* swords would be finale of the deep or calamity of eshu, but I'm pretty sure LoFI will be way better than either of them, just keep using it
I don't play genshin anymore i just hang around the reddits lol:P
Definitely keep going for unlocking the constellations. I know it takes time but it’s soooo worth it. C6 is amazing imo.
Yes i've been trying to get my levels up with the tribes I wish I played more during Natlan so I already had them 😭 I cant wait to get them all ahahs
Kinich/Bennett(noblesse)/Nahida(deepwood)/Thoma(tenacity)- you might want to run pyro mc > thoma with scroll when you have access to them :)
Nahida doesn’t trigger her Tri Karma with burning so you won’t get any meaningful uptime on deepwood. Thoma cannot trigger 4pc tenacity as it requires constant skill hits to proc.
It’s better to run Thoma on 4pc deepwood and use Nahida on another team. The only meaningful dendro worth using with Kinich is Emilie.
PMC on scroll is a good shout tho. Best team is probably Kinich, Bennet, Xiangling/Thoma on deepwood and Pyro MC
Really good point, I misremembered how tenacity procs thankyou!😅
Although I would still say if you run scroll on PMC you need dendro app before the pyro proc, otherwise kinich will have to burst at the start of the rotation so if you wanted to comfortably proc scroll running Nahida still works- ofc OP could replace her with Emilie next banner if they wanted to. (altho dont feel pressured to OP she doesn't buff Kinich's damage at all).
Alternatively, running Thoma provides comfort with his shield regardless with more optimal DW procs, but optimal rotations with scroll will be iffy instead.
Up to OP which they'd prefer considering they may want to use Nahida because its one of their few limited 5 stars :)
Although I don't reccomend Xiangling for him, unless you spin in the opposite direction of pyronado it feels pretty rubbish to play :(
>The only meaningful dendro worth using with Kinich is Emilie.
Isn't yaoyao good too??
Burn gives more raw damage and releases the bloom for the 3rd team in the abyss
My personal team is: Kinich, Rosaria, Pyro MC, and Bennett
Kinich is on obsidian codex, Rosaria is on deepwood for the dendro res shred and her ability to remove burning, Pyro MC is on Cinder City because of the buffs they give for having a nightsoul's blessing state, Rosaria is there to remove burning cause cryo doesn't react with Dendro so it's easier to reproc burning, cause Pyro MC needs to burn the dendro in order for the buffs to be applied (Pyro can't cause burning on an already burning enemy, only dendro can as burning is pyro), and Bennett for the attack buff, he's on noblesse
My rotation is: Kinich Burst (usually up once every other rotation), Rosaria Skill Burst, Pyro MC Skill Burst, and Bennett skill burst
This team works for me, but it isn't too effective against enemies who move around a lot, so just be wary of who you use it against
You could also do what the other commenter said, Kinich, Bennett, Thoma/Xiangling, and Pyro MC
Although like i said earlier, you may want someone to remove the burning so PMC can reproc cinder city and keep the buff up, so consider replacing Thoma/Xiangling with someone else who can remove the burning affect without outpacing PMC's elemental application if it isn't a cryo unit to avoid buffing the wrong element, like Kaeya or Rosaria, or maybe even Xingqiu, i'll have to test him though
My favorite team is BurnMelt:
I also have a just Melt Team
Been Trying Chevy Overload recently
Could also tag in for
Dehya ,Furina, Kazuha, Bennett, best team in my opinion if you play it right
It's basically a double carry with Dehya being the main dps and Furina being sub dps with a really good damage too. If you have c4+ uses scarlet witch or vourukasha if you have it . If below c4 use emblem
Plunge Dehya with c6 Benett, Xianyun and Xilonen gives good results for me.
Replace Xianyun with Citlali or Sucrose and you get a team where your punches do good damage.
Lynette isn’t a great unit, to be clear. If you haven’t invested in her for the sake of it, you may not want to bother for this team specifically…. That said, she only needs her A4- so level 70, VV, and Fav is all you need.
In any case- her burst places a cat in a hat. When an element hits it, it’ll absorb that element and shoot little thingies of the absorbed element. The cat is unique because it prefers to absorb cryo and typically needs to be hit by something to absorb. So when the cat comes out, Citlali’s AoE will make it absorb cryo. If that same AoE cryo hits an enemy, it’ll trigger Dehya’s skill at the same time, melting the cryo and leaving a half second of pyro on the enemy. You can then swirl that with Lynette’s skill.
There is a trickier version of this that allows you to use TTDS;
Dehya’s burst is short, so you should finish before VV of Benny buff ends. If you have C6 Dehya, the rotation should be adjusted.
—
The main criticism here is that you don’t totally need VV with Citlali. She already provides 20% res shred. You could run double cryo instead with either Diona (her giant EM buff from constellations) or Rosaria (with crit rate buff). The double cryo gives 15% crit rate as well. But… OP asked for fun.
Mono pyro, when tuned correctly, is an incredibly slick experience imo. It’s fun to execute and Dehya’s IR makes it super smooth. That said— all of her teams should feel like that.
Bennet, Lynette, Citlali is a nice one. Lynette can absorb cryo and swirl pyro pretty effectively- (she’s the one anemo unit who works in forward melt setups).
Raiden, Chevy, Sara is fun to play. Sara can skill for one and burst for the other, giving her potent attack buff to both dmg windows. Raiden buffs ult dmg and fixed Dehya’s energy problems, which elevate her a bit.
Dehya, Kuki, Nahida, Furina is also fun. Dehya’s skill ticks are too slow for a proper burgeon team, but you can cover the gaps with Kuki’s hyperblooms. Given the soupy nature of everything and Furina’s uneven application, you get overload, fwd/rev vape, etc. Dehya deals comparable transform/amplify EM scaling damage, so any build will work pretty well (and Nahida’s buff helps too ofc).
Ineffa, Furina, Bennet is a solid overvape team.
Can aino work with the last team you mentioned?
Idk what her elemental application is like— if you use Aino, then you probably run an EM heavy build on everyone. The occasionally fwd/rev vapes won’t do much dmg as a result.
> Dehya, Kuki, Nahida, Furina is also fun.
Lowkey got clowned when I showcased this way back when so I'm glad it's still fun to some people now ✨
She's very straightforward. Just slap VV on her and make sure you're swirling the right elements with her skill and burst.
i don't have ei or fischl 🗿
for comp ideas you probably meed to post your roster
I get emotionally attached to characters that I really like, and have always been a "meta defier" on games that I play. Genshin has been the biggest wall I've faced due to characters needing other specific ones and things like that, and it's really defied my point of view.
Anyway, enough rambling and onto the team. My team is: Xiangling (C0, waiting on stardust shop) Main pyro applicator for my Furina and does a bit of damage too. Sucrose (C0) On-field Driver, buffing EM while doing swirls. Lynette (C2) 2nd pyro applicator using her burst and triggers overheal for extra fanfare. Furina (C0R0) The star of the show, built as a sub-dps centered around vaporize My rotation is something like this: Xiangling Skill > Burst > Sucrose Burst > Lynette Burst > Furina Burst > Skill > Lynette skill (2x depending on sacrificial) > Sucrose doing Sucrose things. While my team is Ok, it is really just Ok. It'd be cool having something worth of a showcase (ik it's impossible as F2P, really) The one character I'd be willing to sacrifice is Xiangling, since I built her purely for this team, and while I do have C6 Charlotte and Jean thanks to the Furina banner, I neither want a freezer team, nor do I want a 3rd anemo unit. Thanks in advance!!
Your main issue is not the team comp, or not completely but its more the constellations. C0 Xiangling is much much weaker than her C4 counterpart, Lynette needs C6 to be really worth it and Sucrose badly want her C1. As for Furina she needs a healer, its not negociable. You surely read her talents description. Now for what you need t o do by changing a single character, i'd say just use Bennet instead of Lynette to form what's called a "national" team composition. I won't enter too much into the details unless you want to but its a "meta" team strong enough to beat any content in that game given that you build your characters correctly (Good artifacts, talents, weapons, everything leveled)
I'd say your biggest problems are that Furina does rely on having a healer in the team, and double anemo doesn't really add any extra benefit to you. Your best option is removing Lynette for a healer, and if you don't want to freeze, try Bennett. As other commenters have stated, you dont need to really make a meta team. But if that's what you want, you need to pick and choose who you're building for more than the reason of "i like this character."
When Furina came out I wasn't a huge fan of Jean (I was on a Jean curse since launch lmao) but I built her because she was usable with my favorite character and it made for a good team. Same thing with Itto or Hu Tao, i didn't care for Gorou or Zhongli, but I really liked those two characters, so I built them to be able to use those two properly.
dont replace anybody and grind for your favorites until perfection
Hard to say without knowing what other characters you have, but if you only want to replace xiangling i would replace her with a main dps like hu tao, diluc etc
If anything, I'd say replace Lynette with a Pyro characters, ideally Bennett imo. She just doesn't do much for the team since Sucrose is there and she doesn't really generate fanfare quick enough. Alternatively, you could make an electro charge team with Furina, Sucrose, and at least 1 electro applicator like Fischl, Beidou, Ororon, Yae, Kuki etc. Last slot could be another electro or hydro, ideally a healer. Lynette could maybe also work if you really want.
Hi! I'm in need of a good pyro dps, and most teams I see recommended for Gaming uses Furina, but I'm already using her in my other team. Does anyone have any team suggestions or advice they'd recommend to a new Gaming user? Thank you!
without Rosaria your best cryo option is actually Chongyun + xianyun. Maybe you could use Skirk instead of him in that team and then use Gaming/Chongyun/Xianyun/Bennett. everything else is very uncomfortable and can't really be recommended
Ooh okay good to know. So his melt teams are better than a vape with XQ for example?
I think Vape is really annoying to play without Furina. With Chongyun all you have to do is alternate between normal plunge and skill plunge, with XQ, you have to weave in his slow normal attacks. You could also try Kaeya + Diona, but sort of a waste of Xianyun
Gaming, Xianyun, Bennett, Diona/layla
If diona is c6 use diona if it's not then use layla
If you want to further improve this team then pull for citlali, she's currently the best cryo applier for pyro dps.
Gaming, Chevreuse, Fischl, Bennett/Iansan
Use bennet or iansan depending whichever one's buff is greater.
Does Bennett need to be C6 to be a better buff?
Even at c0 or c1 bennet is Good. But if iansan is c6 she might surpass c0 bennet.

Genshin Impact Beginners Teambuilding Guide - The Advice I Wish I Had
After a year of playing Genshin Impact, I finally feel like I am in a position to give some advice to new players. There is also a lot of advice out there that I think is incorrect, so I wanted to offer a different perspective. This advice mostly relates to pulling and building your teams. The end offers a TL:DR for neurodivergent types.
Team Building - Generally
A word here about my approach to building. My approach assumes you want to get your team as strong as possible as fast as possible spending as little as possible. So, I focus on teams that are the least resource intensive and allow a new player to get strong quickly. If you have thousands of dollars to throw at the game you can ignore my advice. Same if you do not care about efficiency and just want to play a character you really like. My advice is about efficiency.
Teams in Genshin are built around roles and elemental reactions.
Characters can fill one or more of the following roles:
Examples: Xingling, Xingqui, Yelan, Fischl, Kaeya.
Most teams will want all roles filled and some characters fulfill more than one role or can be built to do so. Not all teams need all roles– for example, some teams have no real “on field” DPS and just rely on cycling through their skills (i.e. Sukokomon). But generally, characters that fill more than one role are more valuable– i.e. Bennett at C1 heals your team and buffs it, meaning if you bring him, he gives damage and you can bring more damage instead of a healer.
In terms of elemental reactions there is a lot to read. For beginner purposes, teams that use powerful elemental reactions require less investment than teams that do not. The most powerful elemental reactions are melt and vaporize because they apply raw damage multipliers to attacks and work under almost all conditions. Freeze is next in line– frozen enemies cannot move or attack which makes optimizing your DPS against them easier. Electro and Dendro reactions are next in line. At the bottom is Geo, which does not rely on its reaction for its power.
Team Building - Pulling
Genshin will give you Xingling, Barbara, Kaeya, Lisa, Collei, Amber, and different elemental flavors of the Traveler for free. Those joining soon can also receive any Liyue 4-star of their choice for free during the lantern rite event. Use it on XQ. See below.
However, for the most part, your team will be built by pulling. Pulling is how you get new characters. Duplicates become constellations that upgrade characters you have already pulled. Kaeya, Lisa, and Amber cannot be pulled for, are not particularly great, and I do not recommend a new player invest in them beyond level 40 until they have focused on more pressing priorities. You will have limited pulls. Your goal is to spend those effectively.
Genshin has a pity system. When you pull on a limited, weapon, or standard banners, each pull counts towards pity. If you go 75 pulls without getting a 5-star character/weapon, you get soft pity– your odds of getting a 5 star increase. At 90 you are guaranteed to get a 5 star. However, there is a 50% chance in a limited character banner that it will be the 5-star character you are pulling for, 50% it will be one from the standard banner. So, it takes a lot of wishes to get good five stars.
The beginner wish does not build pity. It also guarantees you Noel, who is an okay, but not great, four star, who you will eventually get without even trying as you pull for five stars. So I recommend avoiding the beginner banner at all costs. Building towards something great and having a chance at something great are better than settling for spending a bit less for something mediocre. If you love Noelle disregard this advice.
Never buy acquaint fates. You will get them over time. The pool of characters has a lot of weak characters makes them not worth it.
So, what should you do with your pulls as of patch 3.3? Well, look at the above. Melt, Vaporize, and Freeze are powerful options. The game does not give a good main dps and you need one badly. You also want characters that fulfill multiple roles. With that in mind, here are my recommendations for those joining now.
Priority 1: Get a 5 Star DPS. Ayaka and Hutao are your best options. They are consistently rated as the best characters in the game, they have really easy to build low investment teams, but also scale into high-investment teams that are the best in the game. Most people who give advice are less focused on a good DPS. They emphasize supports. However, what they miss is that prior to character level 80 or so, your teams will not be able to run real rotations. So, your on-field DPS is king. Raiden is also great but the window on that is closing. You should avoid Itto, Xiao, Eula, Cyno. Not because they are bad– they are not, but they require specific high-investment comps and you want to build more generally. Ganyu would be a backup option, but Ayaka outclasses her.
Priority 2: Get a 5 Star Support. Kazuha, Zhongli, and Kokomi. Kazuha is so strong, makes overworld so much better, and is extremely versatile. Zhongli can be used across so many teams its ridiculous. Kokomi is not far behind that. They will help you enormously in building different teams. But you can pursue this while simultaneously pursuing
Priority 3: Get the best 4 stars. Bennett, XQ, and XL are the creme de le creme of 4 stars and better than most five stars. In particular, pulling any banner bennett is on for a C1 Benett is a good idea. You want to max out these guys and their constellations because they are versatile. Diona, Fischl, and Sucrose (if you do not plan to pull for Kazuha soon) are at the next tier, but because they are not quite as good, I would consider them a plus factor rather than a target.
Practical Advice: Building Your First Team
What this means for those starting now, is you should save primos and pull only for a good 5 star DPS, Ayaka or Hutao to start. Pull for whichever comes first and pull as much as possible until you get one. Then pull for whichever 5 star support arises, especially if it has any desirable 4 stars. Once you get your 5 star DPS and the good 4 stars, you can build whatever you want at your leisure.
TLDR: Recommended Early Teams
Ayaka Melt - Ayaka - Xianglijng - Bennett - Diona/Zhongli/Kokomi
Ayaka Freeze - Ayaka - Xingqiu - Diona - Flex/Sucrose/Kazuha
Hutao Vape - HT - XQ - Flex(Zhongli/Bennett) - Flex Kokomi/Kazuha/Sucrose
Ganyu Melt - Ganyu - Xiangling - Bennett - Zhongli
Ganyu Freeze - Ganyu - Xingqiu - Rosaria - Kokomi
Jean, Mona, Etc. can fill early. The main goal for your early teams is to build up characters who are great in many comps and will be for the foreseeable future.
5 Stars to Prioritize/Invest: Ayaka, Hutao, Raiden, Ganyu, Zhongli, Kokomi, Yelan, Nahida.
4 Stars to Prioritize/Invest: Bennett, XQ, XL.
Character priorities generally:
5*: Main DPS > Kazuha > Zhongli > Yelan > Main DPS 2 > Kokomi. Specific 5 stars follow from there.
4*: Bennett > Xiangling > Xingqui > SPECIFIC COMP SUPPORTS (Sara, Thoma, Diona) > Sucrose > Others.
Other comments: A lot of players have invested heavily in 4 stars and keep recommending them due to sunk cost fallacy. If you are not starting with a built Razor, a built Sucrose, a built Fischl, I would not recommend them. All other 4 stars not mentioned are not the best investments either because they will be/have been replaced or require too much. Focus on building out those units.
Invest in their skills as fast as possible. Until you can get 5 star artifacts, just focus on getting 4 stars. Focus on the main stat rather than the secondaries. Good luck!
I think your pulling priorities are misplaced. Supports are the best thing to pull for; at the (scrub) levels where you can't really use them you can make do with anything.
Also missing Yelan, Nahida, Venti etc.
Nahida especially is egregious because of how cheap her investment needed to do competitve damage is.
In terms of DPS priority also, Ayaka (and cryo) has been falling off usage wise for months because Abyss is full of boss enemies that can't be frozen. I really wouldn't say she is generally better than Itto or Xiao atm. Won't bother commenting on melt Ayaka, no one focused on efficiency and meta should recc that team.
The blatant ignoring of Dendro is hilarious. In the early game (i.e. what this guide is targeted towards), Dendro teams, in particular hyperbloom, are competitive with if not better than all the freeze/melt teams listed here without any 5 stars required. Even a team of just DMC, Barbara, Lisa, Flex (Kaeya/Noelle) can do pretty well.
Nahida is also definitely a priority pull if you're at all interested in investing in Dendro.
Dendro is ignored because Nahida will not be pullable for at least three to four months.
The guide is against wasting resources on dead end characters that have a completely outclassing 5 star. DMC is obsolete to nahida.
DMC is actually really good compared to other 4* supports and very easy to build. I mean no shit MC or most other 4* are not as good as 5* archons lmao. You’re literally telling people to ignore an entire elemental tree of strong reactions that require little investment just because you don’t have a 5* archon. Terrible advice.
Your thinking is obsolete. DMC is completely fine to invest in and can outclass Nahida in multiwave situations because Nahida can't mark mobs from off-field and there's a lot of characters that don't want their long fieldtime interrupted.
You forget dendro reactions. They are king earlygame, and even in late game still hold up. My hyperbloom team with raiden took less than a month to farm an em set for her and it demolishes floor 12.
Priority always support > Sub DPS> main DPS
I personally feels like if someone has Nahida, Ei, Zhongli, Kazuha, Kokomi, Yelan and to some extent Venti as their only 5 stars, they can still beat everything easily with quickswap style especially with powerhouse*4 like Ben, xiang, Xinqqiu, Fischl and Shinobu raised. Main on field DPS can just interchangeable to whoever you want to play that day.
Ironically if a new player really wants an on field *5 carry the best choice is Ayato due to his playstyle is really simple and can perform well in many different teams . I would 100% reccomend him if someone who's not about min maxing wants an on field carry *5
I agree. if you gear Kazuha with enough em you often find him and Bennett deal a lot more damage than you might realise. Nahida also definitely does a significant amount of damage
Definitely underselling dendro and consequently undervaluing Kuki/Fischl/Sucrose.
Vape/melt, freeze, and dendro are indeed the stronger half of reactions, but it doesn't make sense to rank them like you have. Especially with how much hyperbloom does for so little investment.
Dendro MC is a waste of resources because Nahida makes him obsolete. We will not get a Nahida rerun for at least a few months. As this is targeted towards new players, it is also targeted towards what they can get.
They can get 80/80 on dendro traveler (*and really can get away with like 60/60; you just want enough HP to not get one-shot), which carries over to any new elements as well. They don't need to level the talents since they're purely there for the dendro application. This is something that new players can easily get, and they're missing out on a ton if you're recommending them to wait for a 5* limited dendro character.
I don't. You can use Nahida with 4 stars and she's much easier to gear and build, supports will do damage on their own too. Yelan or Kazuha can carry abyss chambers with 4 stars too, same for Venti if the mobs can be pulled.
Having a really hard time thinking if i should spend my shards and go full burn team or heishou team (fao mao prob)
My bias towards sinking for solemn lament grows but you have more burn units so go with burn. Arguably number 1 status effect 👍
Burn is good both inside and outside md. I'll go burn
But here's the thing, all heishou are seasonal, if you don't get them you will have to wait for another season to shard them.
Get the seasonal first
rupture and sinking (deluge and lament) are the best teams as of right now I think (correct me if im wrong). Rupture is better than sinking but rupture is harder to use than sinking and its not that fun cuz sinking deluge is really fun
I'd say heishou, better to get them than cry about them when season ends (it happend to me with season 5 bloodfiends 😭)
I’d recommend Burn. Rupture is great but it’s very difficult to use if you don’t have a full team and relevant EGO. Burn is a lot easier to upkeep, and works really good to help you clash. It also has less season locked IDs, so you can get it easier.
One big problem
Magic bullet id and ego:
You don’t need magic bullet. I have both the ID and EGO, and I usually don’t use them. It’s easier to go without them tbh. Yes they help damage quite a bit, but they can be very annoying to use and doesn’t help the actual burn potency or count.
A while back I think I asked here for help about a team for Childe with hyperbloom because I wanted to play Aether and Childe in the same team for fun more than efficency.
I'm back again to know what Team would be best with Pyro MC and Childe because I find vaporize Childe more fun than hyperbloom Childe (even because I have Nahida for hyperbloom now)
But I'm not sure if that works at all or who to put along Childe and Pyro MC (I have all four stars and as of five stars I don't have them all but I'm too lazy to write who I have individually😅 Feel free to suggest regardless of the characters or rarity)
If Pyro MC and Childe in a vaporize team just doesn't work I'll stick to hyperbloom, but I just want to remind the intention is not big damage, it's mostly for fun while still being practical about the team.
I tried looking up some Childe and Pyro MC teams but with no luck, I'll keep trying though.
If anyone has a team suggestion that would be cool though, thanks in advance😊
You could probably swap your electro in that hyperbloom for PMC to get a burgeon team instead.
Well, the Hyperbloom Childe team I use already have MC in it alongside Kuki and Nahida.
Given MC is already there in the team he can't take over Kuki/Electro, so someone else has to take over her.
Not really a vaporize team specifically, but I did use Childe/Lumine/Xilonen/Furina in Abyss before, to deal with the abyss tenebrous thingies. You know, those black purple things with Nightsoul shields. Hella effective to break them, and I plan to use that team again, since it's rumored these things are returning to the Abyss soon — both the mini ones and the boss.
Who would be good to take over Xilonen? Mostly because I don't have her. I have Furina but never pulled for Xilonen.
I know she's good/useful but given I'm F2P I prioritize who I want more than who's stronger (even because I have two teams that kinda work no matter what on Abyss and always get me to the last floor easily) which is why I don't have her.
Any healer I think — Xilonen is basically single target Kazuha with heals imo. I guess that means Bennett probably works? Or Jean, Charlotte, etc. You want strong heals to counter Furina's hp drain, so it's either someone who heals the whole party, or on-field heal with high efficiency.

Recommendation: A strong Pyro team could consist of Hu Tao (DPS), Bennett (support and healing), Xingqiu (Hydro application), and Xiangling (sub-DPS). This combination allows for powerful reactions, healing, and consistent damage output. Adjust your team based on the enemies you face and the elemental resistances they have.
