Choosing an e-bike that fits well for someone who is 6'8" can be challenging, but there are options available. Here are some key considerations and recommendations based on discussions among tall riders:
Frame Size and Fit
For taller individuals, finding the right frame size is crucial. Many standard bike shops may not stock frames larger than 61cm, which can make it difficult to find a suitable fit for someone who is 6'8" [2:1]. While some riders around 6'4" have found 60cm or 61cm frames to be comfortable with proper adjustments
[2:9], these sizes might still be too small for someone who is significantly taller, like 6'8" or above
[2:3].
Specific Bike Recommendations
Several specific models and brands were recommended by tall riders:
Customization and Adjustments
For many tall riders, customizing a bike to fit their needs is often necessary. This can include adding a longer seat post or a different stem to accommodate a more comfortable riding position [1:5],
[2:9]. However, some caution against trying to modify an XL frame to fit if you're much taller than the intended size range for that frame, as it might not provide the best ride quality
[3:4].
Consulting Experts and Trying Different Options
Visiting bike shops and consulting with professionals can help you find a bike that suits your height. Although many shops may not carry larger frames in stock, they can often order them for you to test [2:2],
[2:10]. It's also advisable to get a proper bike fit to ensure comfort and performance, especially when dealing with non-standard sizes
[2:9].
Additional Considerations
If you're open to spending more for a custom solution, companies like DirtySixer specialize in making bikes for very tall people, offering sizes to suit individuals from 5'9" to 7'5" [2:7]. These bikes are designed specifically for taller riders, providing a more comfortable and stable ride. However, they tend to be more expensive, so it's important to consider your budget and whether the investment aligns with your cycling goals.
In conclusion, while finding an off-the-shelf e-bike for someone who is 6'8" might be challenging, exploring different brands and models, considering custom options, and seeking professional advice for a proper fit can lead you to the right choice.

Ty! Nice looking ship! I’ll have to add it to my collection
Glad I showed something worth it to at least one person!!🤣
Oh that's actually pretty nice and the slots aren't bad either
Thank you:)
Brutal planet! Those mountains make it crazy tough to get around. But cool ship. Thanks for the heads up.
I remember this sermon vividly from years ago. I always felt out of place around my mom, my brothers, my religious community. I just didn’t know why. I think it was the moments like this where everyone got up and applauded over things that didn’t make any sense. Some of these takes sounded straight up dumb, but all the adults around me clapped and whistled. These were doctors, lawyers, teachers. I was only ten or so. I sat in my chair struggling to bring my hands together, confused by the incoherence. I’m only just now starting to realize there was nothing wrong with me.
Did anyone else have moments like this?
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" translates to "we know this doesn't make any sense, just don't think about it too hard"
Lots. Far too many to count.
One pastor- an end times fanatic- claimed there was a giant black planet heading towards Earth that had been prophesied in the Bible, and any pictures by astronomers had been mysteriously blurred out on purpose… not sure why you’d blur a picture of a black planet in space, or why if unit was there, it wasn’t upsetting the orbit of every object hear it, which people would eventually notice. There were not exactly cheers, but definitely a lot of gasps and nods and noises of agreement. It was very weird.
I did see a school chaplain pull your example off to an elementary class, which was a bit inappropriate if you ask me. Poor Maths teacher would’ve been spitting.
Trying to have a conversation about science with any of these people is a fool's errand. Anti-intellectualism is a crucial part of Christianity. The second you start educating yourself or using your brain, they can't control you anymore.
According to those people's logic, if God said "God does not exist", then God does not exist?
truth is god doesnt say anything (he doesnt exist) but there is no shortage of humans claiming to speak on god's behalf
Old mathematical joke: "2 + 2 = 5 for sufficiently large values of 2.".
So I've been getting back into Hades since Hades 2 is now less than a week away (Yippee!), and it's only $6.24 rn on switch. My two favorite weapons are the bow and fists but there are two bosses that I find challenging.
When using the bow, I hate Theseus. Now I already hate him because he's just annoying to fight in general, but it is sooo hard to get around him with the bow since he just always deflects it.
When using fists, honestly all bosses are a bit tougher since I have to be right up in their face, but Lernie is specifically tougher for me with the fists since it's harder to resort to my normal game plan of just camping. It's not as bad as the Theseus bow issue, but I still find it challenging.
Sorry if it may be simple, these are just some bosses that have been troubling me
For the fists:
At the Mirror of Night switch from Quick Reflexes to Ruthless Reflexes. If you didn't know, each of the boons from the Mirror of Night have a Dark boon and a Flaming boon, you can switch between them by going "Left" on a boon and toggling it. You have to buy both the dark boon and the flaming boon, so you might have to get some more Darkness to unlock this.
Before you go on a run switch to Hermes' keepsake, the Lambert Plume.
Ruthless Reflexes means that if you just barely dodge an attack you'll get +50% dodge (and damage) for the next 2 seconds. The Lambert Plume means that when you finish a room quickly you get +1% dodge as a permanent bonus, which stacks with itself as you go through the game. Note that if you unequip the Lambert Plume you lose the bonus so you're committing to wearing it for the entire run.
Dodge bonuses stack, and it is totally possible to get +100% dodge.
You want to rush enemies, particularly in the early stages, to get that dodge bonus from the Lambert Plume stacking. Even if you take a ton of damage, ir even lose a life, getting the dodge going means you'll be way tougher in later stages.
I also like to stack it with Aphrodite (weak enemies only deal 70% damage) and anything that gives you the "Sturdy" condition (You only take 70% damage).
This is stacking defensive buffs, which might sound like it's not a great offensive loadout. However if you get this high enough you never have to dash away to recover, you can just spam dodge and atrack and always be dealing damage. So even if your damage output is slightly lower, your overall damage output might be higher because you spend more time attacking. Also Aphro has the highest attack modifier, so if you can get a rare/epic Aphro attack boon you'll be pretty happy.
Just some general advice that isn't specific to bow and fists (but that helped me a lot with both of them—especially close up weapons like fists) is to make sure you study/learn enemy attack patterns. It allows you to dash away to avoid attacks (with melee weapons in particular) and then get right back on the enemy to apply damage. I know it's simple advice and I'm sure you've done this already to an extent, but I would just make sure you really understand those fights.
This is really really good advice that feels obvious but isn't. Literally just spend one run not attacking at all, but dodging all their attacks and surviving as long as possible. Almost guaranteed you'll learn more about their attack patterns in that one run than all the runs before combined, and you'll probably beat them next time.
That's what I've been doing in Hollow Knight and I've literally beat the boss the next attempt every single time I've done this.
For the fists, dash more. Don’t stay still
I usually dance around the bosses, or really enemy. Just sorta dash through them, punch a lot, rinse, and repeat.
Dio and Ares are the best special/attack boons if you're really worried about getting through the boss with a given weapon. Their boons won't hit crazy heights without a bunch of duos, but they're definitely a safe and consistent amount of damage if you're playing safe
Fist have many combinations that work really well, like Poseidon. What you may want to do is go for dodge build. You can reach high percentages with just a touch of rng.
For Theseus you can fish for the Peircing Shot hammer on the bow. It'll bypass his shield. Flurry Shot is a great secondary hammer too since it's much faster DPS. the Fists have a piercing hammer upgrade too
For Lernie there's a sweet spot you can stay just out of his range where he can't reach you but you can attack him. The bow will be fine but the fists may take some practice
I completed heat 32 with maximum aspect of demeter. So here's some tips
Honestly, aspect of demeter has insane damage output. Put something on the special like aphro or demeter or athena. Artemis is also good (sometimes). I wouldn't recommend dio, ares, zeus. Poseidon is a matter of taste but i think the pushing away messes up my flow.
Always get athena dash. Mash and dash, baby. You have to keep dashing and attacking, and when your cutter is charged unleash it. Even better. top athena dash up with deflect on attack and that will make you almost invincible while mashing dash attacks.
Learn enemy patterns. There's no easy way around it except to play or watch gameplay. Find windows in which to attack and to run away. Attack smol enemies to get charge and then use the charge on big enemies.
Get a cast like athena or Poseidon. This is optional but can be helpful in Styx where you want to avoid stepping in poison.
Dio or Zeus call is really good because you can inflict damage while the call is going on. Plus, useful when you want distance and want to clear a swarm of enemies. Athena's call is also good but I don't prefer it.
This one's luck but a merciful end (doom on attack, athena dash, Athena special, athena+ares duo) build is insanely good. You could also always fish for Hermes' hyper sprint + rush delivery.
Get the hammr "dash attack does 10x dmg to armor". This practically negates armor and is extremely useful in Styx and when fighting [Redacted].
Battie or Antos will often just help you skip over a boss phase
Use the acorn. This allows you to be really aggressive when the boss fights begin.
This guy knows his shit. Just do this, OP.
cool game, glad I came back after a several year break to actually "finish" the main story
another few years and I might have all the character stuff done
I'm sorry hades is 90% off?
Update: it's 75% off today :)
I wish, but no. A girl can dream
megaera's voice gave me gay feelings
and im a straight man so idk how thats possible but she did
Yeah this game WILL make you question your sexuality.
Also Meg is the best romance in the game and its not even close
Nuh uh Thanatos me beloved
Megayra
The new trailer was gorgeous
Lost In Random 2: The Eternal Die is great too, if anyone wants a Hades-clone to hold them over until Hades 2 releases.
Scheme excels when you have a massive dline that can stop the run without lb support.
Also when you have elite players at lb and safety who can mess with QB the whole game.
Minter's scheme was perfect last night. Geno was lost and could have easily thrown 6 INT's. Raiders WR Corps is below average and with a hobbled Bowers, had zero chance last night besides dink and doink shit. Bolts hardly blitzed, dropping 7 into coverage. Zero TDs allowed while coming into the game, the NFL had a record offense weekend of total scores of games being the highest ever. LFG!!!
I don’t have stats to back this up.. I’m only going off memory. But didn’t minter dial up blitzes pretty regularly throughout the first 3 quarters? I thought we brought 5 fairly consistently
But yeah it’s awesome. Minter is proving so far that last year wasn’t just flash in the pan. His squad is looking very well prepared
You can basically see the cover 2 through Geno’s passing chart
That tracks…
"Through 2 games, the Chargers defense is forcing an average depth of target of just 3.2 yards -- lowest in the NFL by a wide margin"
Wha… his longest completion was like 8 yards?! 😮
shite now we have film
We actually play a ton of quarters/cover 4 out of that 2 high look. And disguise cover 6 out of it well too. It’s harder to disguise man but speaking just from our zone looks. The NFL simplifies “2 high shell” to sound like it’s just cover 2 and Minter is way better than that.

4312 is working very well for me rn Switched from 4222 you could try it as well
show me a pic of your team for reference plz
Having good b2b cmf is necessary imo You can use vini as other cf depending on his card I have his ucl potw I use him when he's on A form
Would you lose something if you just experiment with it a little ? I say just go for it !
PERSONALLY, whenever I do wing play I'm so stubborn that I just play on only one side and completely make my other winger irrelevant.
Furthermore I believe that RMF/LMF wingers are better than RWF/LWF since they contribute in the defence AND (way more) in the midfield.
So I also suggest you try the 4-5-1 with a LMF and RMF it may end up good for you !
Thanks a lot ill try that
this is my team for reference
Kane is also pretty good too for making passes and could work great in a 3 CF formation
Mind sharing instructions for the 4-5-1? And playing styles for the positions?

Typing this after dying to Prometheus for the bajillionth time. This game seems much harder than the original, anyone else find this to be true? Still enjoyable, if quite difficult
I haven't fought EM typhon nor our grandpappy yet, but out of the first three EM bosses in both runs, Cerberus and Eris have given me the hardest time.
cerberus was a lot worse than i ever expected 😂 and eris' arena is what messes me up. hecate is actually the one that gets me the most right now cause it's so early on and she'll take a DD or 2 from me
that prometheus fight is something else entirely though. i hear typhon and chronos are absolutely insane though and i'm scared lmao. they really upped their game when it comes to the EM fights in here. they're tough in hades 1 but they are demons in 2
Eris was surprisingly the least trouble for me on >!Vow of Rivals!<, and even Prometheus wasn't too bad. It's Polyphemus on >!Vow of Rivals!< that wrecks me.
Down below, same issue for me. Hecate is a struggle on that Vow, but the Sirens and Cerberus weren't too bad.
At first I found it harder but because Melinoe has a different playstyle, which I like btw because is not a Zagreus 2
Later, the challenge is not common enemies in Hades 2, but minibosses and bosses, I find myself dying in any room (specially from Elysium) with Zagreus, but with Melinoe is always against a boss or miniboss
That’s a huge difference for me. Random Tartarus or Elysium rooms can wreck me as Zag but Mel I’m only dying to grandpa or any given surface boss
When I finally got the hang on Prometheus then the minibosses from Typhoon or Typhoon itself play with me like an ant
This makes me happy. I have yet to play 2 since I’m primarily a console gamer. Sounds like with the play style being so different it might give some reason to actually go back to 1 sometimes for a change of pace instead of abandoning it.
I've gone back and forth a bit after having put over 160 hours into both and they play different enough that it's as you say. Sometimes I want the spammy zig-zagreous instead of the methodical melinoe
I wouldn't say it's much harder, but it is harder.
This is presumably on purpose because they want it to still be a challenge to people who played the original for 200 hours. It would be weird to make a sequel and have it be easier than the first game.
Mostly it was just getting used to the differences. Despite the similarities, Mel doesn't really play a lot like Zag, and trying to do that early on ended many a run for me.
I think it's more complex. The enemies are harder but Mel has far more options. So the amount you need to learn to be decent is higher but once you're there it gets much easier to win reliably. Honestly. I can't even remember the last time I died to a non-Guardian, even with Great Chaos. You can just stomp through regular rooms.
But then Rivals is harder than EM was, and the fear cap is way higher so there's more to play.
Agreed, and if I wanted the same game again, I'll (gladly) replay Hades 1
Hades 2 gameplay strategies
Key Gameplay Strategies for Hades 2
Understand Your Weapons: Each weapon has unique abilities and playstyles. Experiment with different weapons to find one that suits your gameplay. Pay attention to their special attacks and upgrades.
Master the Boons: Collect boons from the gods to enhance your abilities. Focus on synergies between boons to create powerful combinations. For example, pairing attack boons with critical hit effects can significantly increase your damage output.
Upgrade Wisely: Use your resources to upgrade your weapons and abilities. Prioritize upgrades that complement your playstyle and the current run's build. Don’t forget to invest in health upgrades and damage mitigation.
Learn Enemy Patterns: Each enemy has specific attack patterns. Take the time to learn these patterns to dodge effectively and counterattack. This knowledge will help you survive tougher encounters.
Utilize the Environment: Use the environment to your advantage. Some areas have destructible objects or hazards that can damage enemies. Positioning yourself strategically can turn the tide of battle.
Manage Resources: Be mindful of your health, gold, and other resources. Don’t rush into fights without considering your current status. Sometimes, it’s better to retreat and heal than to push forward recklessly.
Experiment with Builds: Each run is different, so be flexible with your strategy. Try out various combinations of weapons, boons, and upgrades to discover powerful synergies and adapt to the challenges you face.
Practice Makes Perfect: Don’t be discouraged by defeats. Each run provides valuable experience and knowledge. Use what you learn to improve your strategies in subsequent attempts.
