The Xbox Ally has a lot of Armory Crate's functionality (TDP control, game profiles, etc) incorporated into the Xbox guide menu, so other OEMs presumably have to do some work to integrate their own equivalent software before they can ship it.

I'm very skeptical of this. Windows update has a complex support path for updates across a variety of hardware, so they can really decide what goes where with fine granularity. I'm sure some of the optimizations have shown up already, but the Xbox shell almost certainly isn't anywhere else yet. I'm sure we'll all be waiting until Spring '26 at least.

They have said these optimizations will make it to mainline windows updates, but they haven't said all and, given the scale of changes, they will certainly take their time testing these on handhelds before sending them out to everyone, even behind feature flags.

I am selling my Legion Go and getting the Xbox Ally X. I love my Go, but the ergonomics just kill my hands.

We already knew Xbox FSE (full screen experience) was coming to other devices, but Lenovo are the first to officially confirm it for their upcoming Legion Go 2. That launches two weeks after the Xbox Ally, on October 31st, but Xbox FSE won't be available on it until Spring 2026.

Per the article:

It's both.  First and third party Xbox Consoles, and third party Xbox PCs, Xbox Laptops, Xbox Handhelds.  Xbox Cloud is handled by MS only.  

I just want this version of "windows" for my home gaming PC. Make it happen MS.

Halls of Torment is really good. Vampire Survivors with a Diablo 1 and 2 feel.

Are you with vodaphone? You have to connect your phone to your WiFi and then use a hotspot to connect your xbox to it. You might get slower speeds but it will fix the problem.

It’s looking like an issue if you’re with Vodafone. Same things been happening to me since Friday night however if I switch to mobile data there’s no issues.

Your first mistake was using light mode

More and more posts of this are popping up seems to be a common issue with discord over the past few days. It will eventually resolve itself.

Unplug your console plug it back in.

Reset your network.

Factory reset your Xbox (keep all games)

Redownload your profile.

Relink your discord (you already did)

Outside of that no concrete fix.

If everything else is working on your console it seems to be a discord side issue.
