What do you mean, "The Game"? Playing "the game" more? Which game?

If you want to go just for the fun of it, go for it. Check the wiki in the sidebar. Or search in this sub, "tips for streaming".

Watch streams on Twitch that aren't 20k+ people. Go find where you'd be starting - people with 0, 1-2 viewers. Check out what you like and dislike about them. Make a list. Form yourself around that list. Decide what version of yourself you're going to be online.

Get a cam, have a personality but be yourself. And figure it out while you go. And talk to the chat even if no one is in there.

The best way is to hit go live and figure it out as you go.

I had the same issue, and the reason was my Razer headset 🤣.

In my case:

• If I went live while the headset was connected, the stream didn't start.
• But if I went live without the headset connected, it started lol.

Was wondering the samething

As of now, you can't watch streams on xbox but I'm hoping discord will fix that , having a small screen on the corner of the TV would be cool. 

Yes. This is awesome, I won't have to stream to twitch for my one friend to see it.

I tested this earlier and my friend viewing my stream said the video was actually less laggy than our voice chat when doing a simple '1, 2, JUMP' test in a 2D platformer. So basically, instant.. this was at 720 30 from an XSX and no Discord Nitro.

Odd that its limited to XBONE and XSX games (X360 and OG Xbox are not supported), but still, this is a really cool addition, hopefully discord is completely integrated into the platform in the near future.

I might actually start using Discord more. And buying more Jackbox games for the Xbox.

Can't make a work. Discord says Stream unavailable while connected to console

This is awesome! Are we able to watch friends streams on our Xbox?

So far its been working only problem i've had is discord would deafen and mute me occasionally and if i return to a normal party it keeps me forced into game chat so i have to restart the console

You have to use Twitch

Nope. Only you have a pc via capture card or remote play

You can stream to twitch and then on your computer open the stream, fullscreen it, and then stream your browser window to discord.

I have done it. You need a pc though.

You start up a remote play session through the Xbox app on the pc. Then you stream the Xbox app.

There is a little BSing to make discord recognize the Xbox app. Let me know if you want more information.

Discord is a voice application like a phone call. Not a streaming service.

Capture card -> PC -> OBS -> OBS webcam functionality -> Discord

I can elaborate if needs be.

There is no way to do it directly. You will need a capture card running through OBS or the El gato system and then stream it to discord from there.
