How to Defeat All Bosses in Hades

General Strategy for Boss Fights

To defeat bosses in Hades, it's crucial to understand their attack patterns and adapt your strategy accordingly. Focus on avoiding damage rather than dealing it, especially during the learning phase [3:7]. Utilize dashes strategically, such as Athena's Divine Dash, which provides deflection and can help you learn enemy patterns [3:3][4:2]. Prioritize dodging effectively to minimize damage taken [4:5].

Builds and Weapons

Creating powerful builds is key to defeating bosses. Some players recommend using the Aspect of Chiron with flurry arrows from a Daedalus hammer [1:6], while others suggest Merciful End duo boons from Ares and Athena [1:4][3:2]. Poseidon's dash is also a popular choice for its effectiveness [5:6]. The shield weapon is noted for its defensive capabilities and synergy with Aphrodite's attack boon [5:1].

Specific Boss Strategies

  • Hades: Avoid getting hit by his skull attacks, which amplify damage [1:3]. Use ranged or DoT builds initially to focus on dodging and learn his patterns [3:4]. Once comfortable, transition to melee/DPS builds.
  • Charon: Consider fighting him in later areas where your build is stronger [4:2]. Learn to dodge his paddle attack, which deals significant damage [4:8].

Additional Tips

  • Mirror of Night: Develop this to improve your odds during runs and create better builds [1:1].
  • God Mode: This mode reduces damage taken and increases with each death, providing a way to practice without severe penalties [5:5]. However, some players prefer not to use it to maintain the challenge [5:9].

Resources

For detailed guides and strategies, consider checking out resources like Leereamsnyder’s Hades Build Guide and YouTube boss fight guides [5:2]. These can provide comprehensive insights into effective builds and tactics for overcoming the game's challenges.

HOW DO YOU ALL DEAL WITH THE FINAL BOSS?!

ORIGINAL POST

I've already gotten to Hades seven times, and guess how many times I've beaten him. Once. I have no idea how to beat him without having many revives. I'm probably just repeating the same mistakes but getting through all the regions to meet him doesn't make stuff easier, so if u have any advice I'll take it. If u sort by new u're basically a god

Edit: thanks all of u, I've literally just beaten him now with ultimate defence of egida

Edit2: after a lot of succesfull runs I gotta say If u haven't beaten Hades yet, pick the shield, learn how to block and you'll be alright

Im a little disappointed we aren’t talking about the true final boss of the game. That fight with Charon is a real sonofabitch.

Well, not exactly. There is a way to fight Charon (the NPC selling boons, HP, etc.) during certain runs. Im assuming it is another part of the RNG, but there may be a sequence to make it occur. In any case, going to a room to buy from Charon where there is a 4th item (money bag) available and choosing it triggers Charon. He takes you to another realm and then a boss fight with him proceeds and he is HARD AF. I have beaten Hades with 9 heat but I have yet to beat Charon in the 3 times I have run into him. Some of it has simply been fighting him early into my run but it’s just a difficult fight in general.

Honestly is a very easy fight, you just get a lot less practice at it than any of the others, so it feels harder than it is.

He has so much freaking hp. The only time he’s really hard is if your damage is bad. I never fight him unless I can push his phases quickly because the later phases are a bitch.

It's key to avoid getting hit by the skulls. They'll amp the damage you take by 50% at least, turning that spin attack from 40 damage to 60, which is enough to kill you outright without any health upgrades in one shot.

Skulls that don't hit you will be left behind, and will create shockwaves if left alone for enough time. Destroy them before that happens to lessen the stuff you have to keep track of.

One of Boss' trickier attacks is to fire skulls in two random directions then stab in Zag's direction. If you see him firing the skulls randomly, move immediately because that stab is uber fast.

Second phase has pots that will stun you if they break. Try to destroy them preemptively if you can with whatever is your longest range attack because these things can set you up for worse combos, or in a bad spot when the boss does his mass lasers and you need as much free space as you can.

If you're having trouble dodging, don't forget there's Abyssal blood in the mirror which can slow enemies down and reduce damage output which can help you survive and have more time to react to his attacks.

Just keep trying, and you'll git gud eventually.

The best approach is to make better builds. The final boss has a lot of health, but some builds do such insane damage it trivializes the fight. And to make those consistently, you need to develop the mirror of night to improve your odds during the run.

Instead of trying to push the difficulty and get more Titan Blood, stay at the lowest difficulty so bosses drop Darkness instead and focus on farming it. If you find Chaos, pick up any boons that amp up Darkness gain. Get Darkness from Sisyphus. Pick Darkness reward chambers. And prioritize Dark Regeneration for the healing.

Once you have a few dies for Fated Authority (reroll chambers) and maxed out Gods' Legacy (max chance for duo and legendary boons), you start to reach the point where you can consistently make end game builds.

My favorite is Aspect of Chiron (which causes all shots from your special to hit the last target of your attack) with Dionysus' Special to instantly stack the poison to max. It has an incredibly strong early game and will absolutely nuke the final boss with a multitude of possible duo boons:

  • Aphrodite attack into Low Tolerance (poison stacks up to 8) and also enables Privileged from the mirror (+40% bonus dmg).
  • Zeus into Scintillating Feast (aoe damage inside the Dionysus cast) and Blackout for a cloud of death (+60% dmg).
  • Artemis Call for boss DPS with Splitting Headache (+1,5% crit per poison stack).

Then if you for instance manage pick up both Aphrodite and Artemis and also get to splash Heartrend (+150% critical damage) on top of Splitting Headache, things start to get nutty.

But the trick is you need to hit the right boons and not get stuck with boons that do nothing for you. To avoid that, you need be able to roll unwanted gods away early because boon chambers aren't all random. Though they look identical, there are actually two types of boon chambers:

  • You get boon chambers that offer your "main pool" chamber that has up to 4 gods.
  • You get boon chambers that offer a new god, which stops when your pool is full.

So if you get Ares into your early pool and he does nothing for you, then a percentage of your boons are simply going to do nothing for you. Which is why Fated Authority is so strong---it gives you choice when you have none and lets you skip taking that god which would have polluted your pool and get to see only the boons you want to see.

Also learning which boons are good with your weapons is incredibly helpful. Ares specifically is useless for most builds, but strong with the Shield Special and lets you pick up Vengeful mood to the point where you can just AFK on the boss holding block.

Ares is also good with the fists and Merciful End duo w/Athena. Can also be an easy way to turn on Privileged Status.

4 upvotes on reddit
ArtistBogrim · 4 years ago

Aye, Merciful End is my favorite Fist build. Hunting Blades is also lots of fun. Had a Stygian Soul run where I picked up an extra cast from Chaos and Charon on top of the Artemis legendary and Mirage Shot. 12 Hunting Blades on a 2.5 seconds cooldown.

But Ares is the most synergy-heavy god and fairly weak until you hit the duo boons, so you really need to commit to the Ares-centric build to make his boons work.

Really insightful comment. I have no idea about the god pool thing but after 50 runs it’s always occurred to me how certain gods will keep showing up. I’ll be sure to save my rerolls now for boon chambers I don’t want

How do I defeat the final boss?

Posted by IAmHadesTheGod · in r/HadesTheGame · 4 years ago

I'n having some serious troubles defeating Zagreus. I just can't seem to adapt to his different builds due to the sheer number of different weapons he might use, not to mention those pesky boons from my Olympian bretheren. I've tried pretty much everything, melee combat, using my Cast to put skulls in the area, summoning wretches, fire beams, urns that trap him. I've also tried healing mid-fight and even summoning Cerberus. Even with my Death Defiances it's just hopeless. Do you guys have any tips for me?

If he's gotten to you you've already lost. It's clear that you've already taken extreme measures, but you haven't even taken advantage of the basics of the Pact of Punishment; even something as making the traps deadlier will weaken him and make your urns more deadly, but why fight him if you can make your minions kill him for you? Make your minions work overtime, and put them through a regimen of calisthenics and hard labor. Put out a summons for more minions while you're at it, and use a stick of middle managers and a carrot of benefits packages while you're at it to keep your minions in line. Start charging convenience fees too, Charon will love the extra free income so his greedy ass will definitely not complain.

Hold a kaizen to improve damage control, customs, inspections, and approval processes as well, those will make his weapons and smuggled Olympian boons less effective.

Oh, Zagreus doesn't want to implement the pact? Taunt him with bounties of Titan's blood and ambrosia. Or better yet, appeal to his pride and taunt him into agreeing to use more heat. Eventually he'll tire of the escape and he'll go back to sulking in his quarters like he used to.

Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate it! I have tried some of the things you mentioned and the funny thing is, I used to do really well at the start, beating him several times in a row. I think my Death Defiances kinda threw him off at the start. Convincing him to pick Extreme Measures 4 was also really helpful at the start but I've been doing worse lately. Maybe that weird skeleton dude could help me out here.

How do I beat Hades? I pop every fire skull I can, and I try to stay far away, but he's so fast and hard hitting, even with 3 death defiances, the 100 HP psuedo death defiance, and 300-400 HP, I can barely beat his first healthbar, let alone the second one...

I've gone at him with magnetic cutter gloves, the base shield, and base form spear a good couple times now, but no dice

FYI, even though the game is relatively old, its still pretty common practice to refer to him as Redacted.

try to get Ares and Athena combo boon called Merciles End preferebly with athena dash. Hit him with an attack and dash through him.

marmotactual · 5 months ago

It’s sometimes easier to dash through him when he attacks. Athena’s Devine Dash helps a ton.

this is also a good tip bc it opens him up for a couple higher dmg backstabs before he attacks again

Best advice I give to everyone, focus purely on not getting hit, as opposed to trying to do damage, and learning how to tell which attack he's going to do. If you can get those down, all that's left is to find opportunity to attack.

Yes, but Hades has a lot more moves, summons minions, and has a variety of phases and attack ranges. Charon just has his basic paddle attack, the waves of darkness with a couple variations and that’s basically it. Charon is only scary because his paddle takes off so much health with a single hit, but if you can anticipate that it’s trivial.

I would say just keep practicing so eventually you can easily memorize his attack pattern. Also just always stay far the fuck away from him if possible. He seemingly swings that long ass oar outta nowhere and that's what used to get me the most.

15 upvotes on reddit
Glayshyer · 5 months ago

Yea the oar is crazy. It’s too fast for me to dodge usually, someone else said they dodge through him because behind him is out of his range, but to do that you have to stay close, which sounds dangerous

Yeah, I would prioritize learning how to dodge/avoid damage in his fight before focusing on actually taking him down- he hits like a tank, if you’re not dodging effectively the damage adds up FAST

I think mostly he's hard because he's pretty different than the other boss fights and you don't encounter him too often, so there aren't as many opportunities to get used to his patterns. I find him pretty manageable unless I fight him in Tartarus when my build still sucks (though that's the best place to beat him to get the most value out of his loyalty card...pain...)

The first three links should be what you need to get past Redacted. The rest are for after you beat him and unlock the pact of punishment.

Leereamsnyder’s Hades 1 Build Guide!

Widely considered the Hades 1 Bible(jokingly but for good reasons). It is one of, if not the best Hades 1 guide out there.

Here is an old comment of mine going over the mirror options and my opinion on them in extensive detail.

It's really nice. It will initially reduce all damage you take by 20%. Then, each time you die, it will increase the damage reduction by 2%. So if you die 5 times, you will have 30% damage reduction, etc. And you can turn it on and off at will in the menu without losing your "progression".

Poseidon dash

2 upvotes on reddit
Hawkedge · 5 months ago

Your health is a resource, don’t be afraid to use it.

Consider the number of hits per button press. The more hits that come out, the more effective on-hit damage effects are (like Poseidon on the bow’s special, or Zeus attack on the rail). Attacks that have a higher base damage benefit more from percentage based increases. Like the shield’s charged attack, for instance. Put Aphrodite on the shield’s attack and it will almost single handedly carry you through the first three areas.

Also on the shield - you can predict REDACTED’s attacks are going to come because there’s always a buffer between when he ends an attack and when he selects a new one. You can hold attack with the shield to block, fully mitigating the damage, then use the window of opportunity to nail some damage.

Artemis has synergy with damn near every single other god, so if you are getting to Elysium and haven’t seen her yet, swap to her trinket at the end of asphodel and pick up some of her boons. Pressure Points specifically can be difference maker, as critical hits do TRIPLE damage.

If you aren’t certain about weapons, give the Rail a try. Zeus or Poseidon on attack, Artemis on special, Dionysus on cast for the stun. Lob bombs and if you get any hammers, look for rocket bomb and spread bomb. Those two go crazy together.

And don’t be afraid to change up your keybinds to make the game more ergonomic to play - I play on my keyboard and mouse on computer and moved my cast button and it made the game a much more pleasant experience.

Hope you get it! Good luck!

It’s possible, but as others have mentioned it is extremely difficult.

To elaborate a little bit, first you straight up need to be great at the game. While hades is not exactly the highest skill cap game, you need to know the fights inside and out and be ready to be flexible as you don’t get to pick your boons.

This is the easy part however.

Remember that max heat also disables the mirror, makes it so you can’t heal, buffs every boss, and has you on a strict timer - not to mention you have enemies buffed to hell and back with HP / damage / etc.

IMO the timer mixed with randomness of boons is really what makes the run challenging / impossible as you need your random boons to line up extremely well to even make a run possible, then you need to play perfectly.

Having the boons chosen for you is the hardest part, I think. I mean, it’s very hard to do even with mods to give you the boons you want, but the high reset cost from Approval Process is prohibitive in a way that can’t be overcome with skill. The Hades 2 successor is a big improvement in terms of adding difficulty that’s still skill-expressive.

Max heat runs are extremely dependent on getting the exact correct RNG. It's possible, but really rare and difficult.

You’re not wrong, given how restrictive Approval Process is, but Haelian’s original video on the topic overstates the difficulty of getting a viable run because he assumed that the only way to complete it would be with the Zeus shield build. Jade got lucky and managed to hit the golden run with that build shortly afterwards, but I think it was inevitable that someone would eventually come up with a strategy that’s less rigid and rarity-dependent.

Sure there is. Mechanically and knowledge- wise, the game really isn’t that hard. Can everyone do a 64 heat run? No, not at all. However, I’d be willing to wager that anyone that can do 50 can do 64 with enough runs - as it is extremely rng dependent. Are the vast majority of those people willing to do the thousands of runs it’s going to take? Probably not.

I’d also be willing to bet that more than 2 people have beat 64 heat - those are just the two streaming / posting / trying for records.

As for that attack, my strategy is to always hide behind the pillar that is further away from skulls. During phase 2.2, [Redacted] shoots out lasers in a full circle so you need to hide. Hope this helps, have fun!

I realized after I posted this that everyone marks out his name should I delete this for spoilers? I got his ass finally so I dont need to come back to this post as much anymore. I just assumed that everyone knew he was the final boss like I did after the game being out for so long. I didnt know about his second phase though which was pretty cool to see

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's a bit of a continuation of the joke from within the game about how Hypnos' list has deaths from the final boss listed as [Redacted].

Also, given how the game has been out so long and you didn't know about the full extent of the fight due to careful use of spoilers? Just goes to show that the spoilers have worked.

Whether you delete the post is up to you. The mods haven't removed it so it mustn't be against the rules. Personally, I see it as a little bit of fun on the forums that we talk about this open secret acting all *hush-hush* about it.

I hang out by the pillars to make sure I can block the beams. I take my time too, if he’s not attacking me in phase 2 and there’s a lull, sometimes I just go to pillar instead of pressing the attack because he’s probably about to laser my ass. I don’t remember a 3rd phase though?

When he's charging up for his tri-beam, dash through him fron the front so that you immediately get behind him and dash from side to side while making sure you don't get hit. When he's doing his circular beam attack, you can get in the middle and "hug" him while hacking away. Phase 2 is easier than Phase 1 for me, especially when I have divine dash to dash through his green urns and trigger them so you get more space to move around. You don't have to worry about Phase 3 up until your first escape and unlock the Pacts of Punishment and turn on Extreme Measures (there's an extra unlockable you need to buy from the Contractor to enable Extreme Measures 4, which enables Phase 3). Only turn on Extreme Measures 4 when you consistently kill normal Hades with minimal damage and/or not losing defiances, which in my experience would still not be enough until you get a few runs of EM4 (it's really hard and I only turn it on for heat 20 runs, but not on heat 32).

32 HEAT CLEAR!!

Posted by Rottenlove_ · in r/HadesTheGame · 8 months ago

I beat Hades earlier today and got all the achievements in the same run! I'm so happy ^^

The 32 heat run was brutal- After the time ran out, I had to rely on my 3 death defiances to barely carry me over to the end while my health was trickling away. Hades was putting a lot of pressure on me in that particular run, but I beat it :)

No victory or first achievement posts or screenshots.

Of course it feels great when finally defeating [REDACTED], beating xx heat, unlocking something or earning an achievement. But consider if even 0.1% of users of this sub posted these experiences it would be a flood of low value content. These are not "obligatory" posts.

You can share that sort of content on the official Supergiant Games Discord server in the #hades-victory-boasting and #hades2-victory-boasting channels.

Any tips on the upgraded bosses?

Posted by 5l0thgn3t · in r/HadesTheGame · 2 months ago

I've only gotten to Rivals 2 so far, so no spoilers beyond that but the upgrade in difficulty feels a lot harder than Hades 1 and the bosses feel almost impossible, taking multiple to all death defiances. Are there any advice or tips on what to do or is just a skill issue on my part here?

I think its part skill issue and the bosses being a bit too strong. The strategies that we used for their previous forms don't work as great with them like rushing Unrivaled Prometheus would just kill you ASAP. My tips would be to plan your run knowing what you're up against and use all the broken things at your disposal (scorch is bonkers now) Good luck!

Polyphemus 2.0 in particular feels destined for a nerf. I'm kind of enjoying the fight in its current form even though it inevitably has at least one 'he grabbed me from across the screen' moment, but I can't imagine that's the final version of it.

I think they're fine as they are, the whole point of the vow of rivals (and fear in general) is that it's supposed to be hard. It's not like they're THAT hard to begin with if you're experienced with the game.

Make sure you have upgraded all the arcana cards and your weapon aspects and keepsakes - that's your baseline

Then make sure you have a build in mind when starting a run and try to aim for it.

And then it's just pure skill and learning boss moves.

Aside from the more specific advice folks have given: Be patient with yourself and give yourself some grace with the learning curve.

It's easy to forget a year into EA, but we all struggled with the bosses in their Rival-Free form for the first few weeks after they were initially released as well. While the identity of the bosses themselves are largely unchanged in their rivaled form, in terms of attack patterns and strategies you're basically looking at 8 new bosses to learn at once.

It's going to take time to memorize and adapt your play style accordingly, let alone doing so on a consistent basis. And honestly, that's not an indictment of player skill or even boss difficulty - it's just the reality of having effectively doubled the boss pool AND having done so all at once instead of staggering them across multiple updates like they did with the Surface bosses.

Give yourself time to learn and practice without getting to frustrated by a self imposed timeline of when you 'should' have it down by. It's a LOT to take in at once, give yourself some grace and keep your head clear enough that it's more likely to stick.

I remember the days when Eris gave me more trouble than Chronos. Hell, Prometheus STILL does sometimes.

Polyphemus : Play patiently, keep distance between you and the boss, and only rush in when you know it's safe. Also, Medea only has a few patterns, you'll get used to them over time

Eris : Stay close and play aggressively, go behind her when she prepares her laser. Try to pop the bombs with your attacks during her phase transitions.

Hecate : When she activates dark side, you can get a couple hits in but you need to get away quickly or you'll get hit by her attack spam. It can deal a ton of damage if you're not careful, definitely her most dangerous move.

Scylla : There's a lot going on, but staying mobile will naturally make you evade a lot of the projectiles. You can kinda run laps around the arena and hit whatever is close.

My only gripe is for Rivals 3 Underworld, like how can you even dodge or block in the first stage alone

Intelligent-Okra350 · 2 months ago

This one gets better quick as you learn the pattern I think, like knowing when it does that annoying backwards swipe. You might have to do times dashes for some of the AoE though, but the ground circles are at least telegraphed.

Can I geek out about Hades 2 now?

Posted by floopy03 · in r/HadesTheGame · 6 months ago

So I started the game last night and it felt dragging as how roguelikes are, but I enjoy the grind. The staff is sooo beginner friendly spam special if you find it hard.

Not sure if we can spoil area bosses so I'd go with A1, 2 & 3. A1 is a skill test, dodging and waiting for the timing A2 is a build test, checking if the boons you have work well and can cause enough damage A3 haven't beaten him yet, but I think it's a mix of both as swarms will appear and they are a pain /moment of rest.

Still so much to do resources to farm builds to discover.

If you have any tips/nocturnal arms that is fun to use-boons that it works well with. Let me know.

May moonlight guide us all!!

Welcome! As a lover of this particular brand of progressive challenge, story, and fantastical build-craft, I personally couldn't be happier with hades 2.

It's been a while, but before I unlocked weapon aspects i found focusing on gods with chunky damage like Hephaestus and Zeus along with a freeze from demeter to be the most fun.

Welcome to the geeking out!

Take your time and explore different options, different paths. Unlocking certain dialogue triggers and story progression requires certain things to happen. Even just reaching the boss of a Region will trigger things. Talk to everyone you can who has a ! above their head. Skip nothing.

Make use of the Forget-Me-Not once you have it; it will make your life so much easier finding resources.

Change up your farming focus every now and again. I don't mean some mechanical focus (you used to be able to prioritize tools, but that just changed), I mean opting whether you want to go hard on a bunch of Psyche to level your Grasp, or Ash to unlock Arcana or other things, and so on. Gives a refreshing change of pace as you work to unlock things.

Get Nectar when you can. Every character that you can give Nectar to, give exactly 1 and no more until you've given just about every character 1 Nectar. This goes for Boon-giver gods especially. You may have figured this out already, but it's how you get Keepsakes, and you want to get them ASAP so you have them for runs.

Enjoy the story and dialogue. The gameplay is very fun, but half the draw of the Hades series is the story. If you played Hades 1, you'll know what I mean.

Lastly, take the time to learn enemy attack patterns and how to not take damage. It's a rougelite, damage has a habit of sticking. You don't have a timer.

Death to Chronos!

So, Boss1 shows you, that you take a huge amount of damage from all attacks, which means dodging and keeping distance is a valid and good strategy. Later on some skills let you regenerate health, but thats rare.

Boss 2 throws different dangers together, one on their own is very predictable, but 2 or even 3 is much to calculate with.

Boss 3 is a check if you are skilled enough to endurance a very long fight, as you have to run around a lot with distance weapons (meele is another thing), then it is dancing before and behind him (much easiert than with all overworld bosses, but also doable there)

Or if you do unholy amounts of damage, just throw all attacks out at once.

Sad thing with all bosses except Underworld 2 is, you cannot stack Burn on them, as they have either several phases or just have ways to loose/heal the burn.

Nothing stopping you from building up a shitload of Scorch, it's just those downsides that make you need to evaluate its capacity. It still acts as 1/2 of Origination if anything, and you avoid the issues a bit more with the Hestia boon that accelerates the tickrate. Or you could almost entirely sidestep the problem with Freezer Burn if you get that duo 😂

OiItzAtlas · 6 months ago

Didn't it used to be able to stack burn, well burn used to do all damage if it hit the threshold for a different phase

Be sure to check the cauldron and swap tools every now and again. Every now and again it's good to do a run with the sole focus of gathering materials as some incantations are game changing.

When you're able to get companions Frinos can block the first bosses morph attack.

Also make sure you're giving 1 nectar to all characters you can. Not sure if you're new to hades in general but in the first game I didn't do this until beating REDACTED a few times thinking nectar was needed for something else.

Edit almost forgot you can level your Arcana and grasp. Early builds of Hades 2 it was hard to tell where to go to do so and IK many people didn't know how to do so for a week or so

You don't swap tools anymore

8 upvotes on reddit
Flash_Fire009 · 6 months ago

Swapping tools gives higher odds of the respective resource showing up if I'm not mistaken. So if you need seeds do a run with the shovel, minerals the pickaxe, psyche the tablet, and bones the fish.

how to defeat all bosses in Hades

Key Strategies for Defeating Bosses in Hades

  1. Know Your Weapons: Each weapon has unique abilities and playstyles. Experiment with different weapons and their aspects to find what suits you best. For example, the Twin Fists of Malphon excel in close combat, while the Bow of Artemis allows for ranged attacks.

  2. Upgrade Wisely: Focus on upgrading your abilities and boons that complement your playstyle. Prioritize damage boosts, survivability (like health upgrades), and crowd control effects.

  3. Learn Boss Patterns: Each boss has specific attack patterns. Spend time observing their moves to anticipate and dodge effectively. For example, Hades has a series of telegraphed attacks that can be dodged with practice.

  4. Use the Environment: Take advantage of the arena layout. Use walls and obstacles to block attacks and create distance when needed.

  5. Dodge and Move: Always keep moving to avoid damage. Use dash abilities and upgrades to enhance your mobility, making it easier to evade attacks.

  6. Utilize Boons Effectively: Choose boons that synergize well with your weapon and playstyle. For instance, pairing Artemis’ critical hit boons with a fast weapon can lead to massive damage.

  7. Stay Calm Under Pressure: Boss fights can be intense. Stay focused, avoid panic, and remember to heal when necessary. Use items like the Pom of Power to boost your abilities during the fight.

Boss-Specific Tips:

  • Theseus and Minotaur: Focus on dodging the Minotaur's charge attacks and take out Theseus first to reduce the pressure.

  • Hades: Use ranged attacks to keep distance and avoid his powerful melee attacks. Watch for his summons and deal with them quickly to minimize distractions.

Recommendation: Practice makes perfect. Don’t be discouraged by defeats; each attempt will teach you more about the bosses' mechanics. Consider using the "God Mode" feature if you're struggling, as it provides a damage reduction that can help you learn the fights without the pressure of dying.
