Eligibility and Activation
Verizon offers Disney+ as part of its perks for certain plans, but availability and terms can vary. If you have a plan that includes Disney+, you should be able to activate it through your Verizon account. To check if Disney+ is included in your service, log into your Verizon account via the app or website and manage your extras [2:1]. If you encounter issues, texting DISNEY to 611611 might help resolve activation problems
[2:2].
Plan Considerations
For those on legacy plans, some users have noted that they have ad-free Disney+ included, which is no longer available for new subscribers [1:1]
[1:3]. If you are considering switching plans, be aware that newer plans may only offer Disney+ with ads
[1:4]
[4:6]. It's advisable to hold onto older plans if they offer better perks
[1:4].
Pricing and Perks
Verizon's My Plan allows customers to add streaming services like Disney+ as separate perks. While this can provide savings compared to standard rates, it's important to read the details carefully to avoid disqualifying any device promotions [4:1]. Some users have expressed dissatisfaction with Verizon's pricing consistency and changes in subscription bundle prices
[4:3]
[4:5].
Additional Tips
If you're concerned about being double charged when activating perks, ensure that you cancel any existing subscriptions before activating the Verizon perk [4:7]. Additionally, understanding the terms of your current plan and any potential changes can help you make informed decisions about switching plans or activating perks
[4:6].
Alternative Options
While not directly related to Verizon, some users have found other ways to get free Disney+. For example, using the Clubcard app can offer three months of Disney+ free, though this is typically the standard version with ads [5:1]. Always check for similar promotions that might be available through other services or partnerships.
Does anyone know if Verzion gave us an option to get ad free Disney plus through them now. I remember adding it a couple months ago and I removed it because it didn’t give us an option but I was wondering if there was any changes then?
Thanks
My Disney is ad free. But I’m legacy.
yup mine as well
me too plus Hulu no ads for $5
Me too! Get More Unlimited!
I messed up and didn't do all the correct homework prior to switching plansand adding VZW Home Internet.
Didn't find out until yesterday you can't upgrade to no-ads from the current perk offering with ads. This was after I changed both of our plans that had legacy no-ads included.... If I had only changed one and waited a week to test it out.
The savings we may have had are likely going to be wiped out having to subscribe to a premium plan. <Picard Facepalm>.
Hold on to your old plans as long as you can.
Our goal is to ensure our plans and prices meet your needs. To explore your options, please reply to our private message.
Nope , still with ads
Dang, alright thank you
I have the legacy bundle that has ad free Disney+ and I'm holding onto it because it's no longer available.
I got the text saying that Disney is included with my service but when I click the link it says I have no subscriptions and to call customer service. I'm always on hold forever with no end in sight. Is there another way to fix this without contacting CS?
Create a total wireless account on the website once is done send the word Disney to 611611, you will get the link again it will ask you for your email linked to the Disney acct… basically you’ll get a code and I think that’s it. A little bit tedious but It should work
log into your total wireless account via the app or website, click on “manage my extras” and Disney+ should be listed there. if that does not work the. try texting DISNEY to 611611 and see how it responds. if neither work then call support and ask for the VAS Department (value added services) for help activating Disney+
Do cast members get free Disney+ 🤔
Yes - if you go on cast life there are details there
I pay for the no ads version, so I pay the difference between the free CM version and the no ad.
$11.33/mo for D+/hulu/espn+ with no ads
Didn’t know this was an option. TY!

Currently you pay $10 per month for your Disney Bundle perk*. Beginning April 17 your price will change to $15 per month You're still saving $6.99 each month - a savings of over 31 % compared to standard pricing. This bundle has been discontinued for new subscribers, but as a Verizon customer you can keep enjoying ad-free** Disney+ for as long as you keep this perk
You also have the option of switching to the ad-supported Disney Bundle perk for $10 per month. This perk includes Disney+ Hulu, & ESPN+ (With Ads), and also provides a savings of $6.99 per month
We appreciate your loyalty and want to make sure you're getting everything you deserve as a valued Verizon customer. If you have both mobile and home internet services with us, you can save with our Mobile-+ Home Discount. You will enjoy $15 per month off your bill, and eligible plans get even more entertainment with a free perk valued at up to $10 per month. As always, you can make changes to your account at any time. Man, as a sales rep, it's getting really damn hard to find any incentive to get people to switch. Luckily we're blessed with really good coverage in the city I'm in and good new line offers. The execs are gonna bleed out loyal customers trying to make a quick buck, then scratch their heads when the churn numbers are way higher this year.
What are my options if I want to switch from the Play/Game plans to the new ones, but keep the ad free Disney? Is there an option to upgrade on the Disney+ site?
The only reason I’m considering switching is my work discount applies to the Unlimited lines and is cheaper than what I have now.
To answer the actual question in there, the only way to get the disney+ without ads via verizon perk right now would be to get the current perk and let it grandfather and go up to $15 in April. Once it is replaced with the $10 with ads for all 3 that's all there will be, so you would have to move before the switch happens.
Disclaimer I don't know if they already changed the offerings or not.
Only way to do it on new plans is to add it back on as a perk. When you go to change the plans all streaming services are separate perks that can be toggled on. Technically, Unlimited Plus with the Disney perk was cheaper than Play More because of the legacy fee and auto pay slash. You can always add plan changes to your cart through the app and see an estimate before pulling the trigger. Just make sure to read carefully if the plans you are going to would disqualify any device promos you have. Welcome can make sense, but not if you use mobile hotspot AND have watches and tablets. If you just need Hotspot and your promos are not plan dependent best option is Welcome with the Hotspot and Disney perk. (Disney only needs to be added to one line)
The subscription bundle prices are negotiated between Marketing and the streaming companies but Verizon really sucks at keeping prices consistent. Plus Play was the best perk, and I will keep it active as long as I can.
I mean the deal is basically the same it's on Disney not Verizon. The service is still cheaper through Verizon?
The whole point of My Plan was Verizon wanted to expand what monthly services you pay for. The incentive to customers was that it was cheaper and that helps justify Verizon's high line costs. It is now like $2 dollars cheaper, plans are more expensive, internet is more expensive, and promos are worse. It's the old bait and switch. And if you think for a second Verizon would lose money if they ate the $5 you're wrong. I would imagine 50% of people signed up for Disney with Verizon don't even know it.
I'm confused with the perks I have available. I already subscribe to apple+ and the Disney bundle at full cost. I'm concerned that I will be double charged if I try to activate the perks. What's the proper steps to take to make sure that doesn't happen?
Verizon receives a kickback from the platforms to offer said services and/or receives said services at a discounted cost, which they then charge the customers for. I’m not entirely sure if the cost they receive the service for is the price they sell it for (and then receive a percentage of proceeds from the services refunded back to them) or if they charge customers a higher amount than they pay for the services and then can keep the difference. Either way, it works out the same. Both Verizon and these services have to make a profit off of the service (yay capitalism!)
The result is that when the cost of doing business increases, so do the prices. So either these services increased their pricing to Verizon, or they reduced/eliminated the kickback Verizon receives, therefore to ensure the CEO of all the companies involved (Verizon, Disney) can continue to get the same bonuses (or bigger bonuses), they had to raise the prices to the consumers.
But with that being said, the price increases may not be entirely Verizon’s fault in this case as there are many other stakeholders involved (Disney). All of the platforms involved in that bundle are owned by the Walt Disney Company, and I’m pretty sure that they increased their costs to Verizon.
When i switched i didnt get any of the “perks” because its just a way to rack up the bill , tmobile did the same thing when i was with them
I want to make a change in carrier lol
Went to check my points and noticed the partners tab on the Clubcard section. There's a code to redeem to get 3 months of Disney+. It's the standard as version but hey, free is free.
Now to take full advantage of this and binge the Simpsons.
stremio mate, just stremio.
This. Cancelled all streaming services and now pay for Real Debrid £28 a year for ALL streaming services and usually better sound quality and no ads.
Is this working again with Kodi?
Is that a dodgy hookup, or legit? That's insanely cheap
Yep only service I use.
Since we're doing tips, Apple TV is free with the £5 per month Barclays account.
Then it isn’t free is it
You don’t pay the £5 if you’ve Barclays Premier, then it is free
Thank you! I got kicked off my brothers account and wanted to catch up on a couple of things!
Pro-tip, uninstall the Disney Plus app first, if you have it.
If you try and redeem via the Clubcard app and it redirects you to the Disney+ app, it will just signs you up and you pay £4.99 from the get-go.
Uninstall, then the Clubcard app will send you via your browser. 3 months of the sprogs screaming along to Moana songs. Bliss.
I am MOANAAAAAAAA
It’s been a tough few weeks, this has definitely helped. I’m probably gonna binge The Simpsons
Thanks, you’re a legend 🙏🏼

I have the 5G Play More plan which includes Disney + bundle. I noticed today that I no longer have access. When I go into My Verizon account it still says its included in my plan
I did notice they changed their plans so I’m wondering since I’m still on the old plan should I still have it?
Technically, you should. I'm on my parents' plan. we are still on the 5G starts and play mores. still getting disney plus.
I work at an indirect, and one of the managers in my district heard something about these older plans possibly dropping the disney bundle in these plans, possibly at the end of this month. (may be due to licensing.). I haven't seen anything physical, so I have no way of confirming or denying this.
I cant seem to re enroll so maybe this happened to me. I’ll give them a call tomorrow
Update: after chatting with both Disney and Verizon support, finally came to a solution. All i had to do was unenroll and then reenroll for the bundle.
Not sure why this issue even occurred in the first place
If there is a reference number in my Verizon call Disney support, they have to delink it if it shows active and has the reference number
Mine still works guys so I'm not sure what's going on with your accounts
That's a shit storm and a half waiting to happen if it's true lmao
So this is happening to me now as well. Unable to access Disney+ or ESPN+ after having the bundle for years. Did anyone else have to unenroll then reenroll like the OP? I feel like with my luck, I would try that, and then not be able to enroll without being charged.
I confirmed with the verizon rep that i was ok to do it. I was afraid of that too. If i wasnt able to enroll again i would have thrown a fit with verizon customer service
I like these types of complicated questions. I'm in a similar boat. Currently have 5G Play More with Disney Bundle included. Looking into cancelling Bundle through Verizon. Signing up for Hulu(NO ADS). Then re-enroll disney bundle through Verizon. The idea being I get credited the difference between hulu-ADS & hulu-NO ADS. Or I pay the difference. Don't really care. I just want the hulu to NOT have ads.
Yes. I still have my old disney bundle currently. Now can they drop it whenever sure. But they know there will be an unroar when that happens.
They lock me out and make me recover my password what seems like every time i use it good luck.
Heard that Disney plus is free if you use Verizon but is that true or is it fake.
For certain plans yes. I have the bundle Disney, Hulu and ESPN+ and haven't paid a dime for them in years
Same!
Nothing is truly free, think of it more like a perk for specific plans. If you have a cheaper plan, legacy plan or loyalty plan, you pay for it like everyone else.
Depends on your plan, they are free on Play More and Get more, 6 month trial on Do More.
It's included in our 5g play more and 5g get more pricing!
I’m on Get More unlimited, it’s free for the life of the plan. Hulu is included.
Hoping someone here has an answer because Verizon isn’t helping. Switched to the new 5G Get More plan. Includes the Disney+ bundle. Tried adding it, kept getting prompted by Disney for a credit card. Chatted with Verizon (online chat) and they said my Verizon account has a pending order (it shouldn’t) which they canceled. Then they couldn’t add it from their side and said it was an IT issue and they were creating a ticket.
Week later, call Verizon to figure out what’s up. Tried adding the bundle through the app and regular website with no success. After a three way call with Verizon and Disney, they gave me a week free to Disney+ and again were “opening a ticket.” They managed to add the bundle to my Verizon account but the link to Disney seems to be the problem.
Now the week is up and I’m back to being asked for a credit card by Disney and I have a pending order (again). Help? I don’t want to call Verizon again since they seem to just open useless tickets. Anyone with a similar experience or advice?
Might be unrelated but I also cannot switch on the premium video streaming switch. Just an error message.
If it’s listed in your add ons, make sure you are hitting the “Go To Disney” option and that it’s opening in a web browser, not the Disney + app.
If it is launching in the app, remove the app from your phone or do the process through a computer.
It opens in the browser, requests an email address, I punch it in and then prompts for my credit card info. The Verizon rep even had me make a brand new Gmail account to try that and same result. Cleared cookies, tried Chrome AND Firefox AND Safari, the whole checklist with no change. This is why I’m not too confident in CS about this.
Did you ever find a solution
I personally think that verizon should add the hulu no ads.
I find other ways too stream their content solely because of the ads, Hulu is fucked for adding ads like that in a paid plan
I try to watch anime on hulu but the ads ruin the user experience
You can turn off the Disney bundle add-on, sign up for a Hulu no-ads plan, and re-enable the bundle. I had to contact support to get a refund for the first month of no-ads that was charged at full price (without the bundle discount).
But yeah, it would be nice to have it included for free.
As the title says, I just ported into Verizon. I am a new customer. I do not have any prior subscriptions to the bundle services. I hate ads, and would rather pay the difference to upgrade Hulu to ad-free. I have been searching, and the information keeps running me in circles. Customer service at both Verizon and Hulu were not helpful. Does anyone know what the correct steps and order are to get this set up so I can get the bundle and only pay for the difference between Ad Supported and Ad Free Hulu?
Thanks in advance

Not sure if this will help you but have you read through the faqs?
I did read through that before posting this. My concern with that is that all of the option assume I already had the services, which I didn't. I just wanted to make sure before doing anything that might cost me extra or cause hours of headache with customer service.
Look at part 6 under:
Existing Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN+ subscribers
It looks like you have to signup for Hulu (no ads) through Hulu and then sign up for the bundle through Verizon. This way you will receive a credit and will be billed for the difference in price. Make sure you signup with the same email.
how to get free Disney+ with Verizon
Here are the key considerations for getting Disney+ for free with Verizon:
Eligible Plans: Verizon offers Disney+ as part of certain unlimited plans. Check if you have one of the following:
Activation Process:
Duration of Offer: The Disney+ subscription is typically included for a specific duration (e.g., 6 months or 12 months) depending on your plan. After this period, you may need to pay for the subscription unless you cancel it.
Account Management: Make sure to manage your Disney+ account through the Disney+ app or website after activation. You can also link your Disney+ account to other Disney services if you have them.
Check for Updates: Offers may change, so it's a good idea to check Verizon's website or contact customer service for the most current information.
Recommendation: If you're a Verizon customer with an eligible plan, take advantage of this offer to enjoy Disney+ at no additional cost. It’s a great way to access a wide range of movies and shows, especially if you have kids or are a fan of Disney content.
