Verizon's Current Offers
Verizon offers various streaming service bundles and promotions, often tied to their mobile plans. While specific details about Verizon's streaming offers weren't directly discussed in the threads, there is a general understanding that bundling services can lead to savings. For example, Spectrum users noted that bundling TV and internet services could provide cost benefits [1:2]. Similarly, Verizon may offer bundled deals with their mobile plans that include streaming services.
Comparisons with Other Providers
When considering switching to another provider like Spectrum, it's important to compare the costs and benefits of streaming service bundles. Some users found that Spectrum's bundled streaming apps were more expensive than subscribing individually [1:1], while others noted potential savings
[1:2]. It's advisable to carefully evaluate if Verizon's offerings align with your current subscriptions and usage patterns.
Customer Experience
Customer service experiences with Verizon were mixed. Some users expressed frustration with Verizon's customer support, particularly when dealing with technical issues [4:1]
[4:2]. This suggests that while Verizon might offer competitive streaming packages, the quality of customer service should be considered as part of the decision-making process.
Alternative Options
For those looking for alternative providers, options like AT&T, T-Mobile, or even smaller carriers like Cricket or Visible were suggested as potentially better choices than Spectrum [1:5]. Additionally, LG Streaming Week offered discounts and bundles for LG Smart TV owners, including a Disney+ bundle, which could be appealing depending on your device setup
[2:1].
Recommendations Beyond Discussions
If you're considering Verizon for streaming services, it would be beneficial to check their latest offers directly on their website or contact customer service for detailed information. Also, consider any existing devices you own (like LG Smart TVs) that might have exclusive offers during promotional periods.
I currently have YouTube TV and pretty much all the streaming services, Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, Paramount Plus, HBO Max, Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited, NBA League Pass with Spectrum SportsNet Lakers. Looking at the Spectrum website, they are offering most of these addon apps free for signing up. I also have 1GB internet with Spectrum and Verizon for mobile service for a family of four. If I switch mobile service to Spectrum, can I bundle the TV and internet for more savings? And those who have the service, is it worth it?
The shovelware apps Spectrum give you "for free" (we all know we pay for it in the bill) are are the add laden. If you are paying for add free you're likely better off staying with YTTV as paying for Rectum and the upcharge for add free is be more than you are paying now u/Individual-Rub6219 it wasn't cheaper here (when we tried). For one thing, Sharter wouldn't bundle anything. At the time, Hulu add free wasn't 10$ upcharge it was not available. Since Spectrum TV was $50 more than YTTV I stand by my statement.
I did say LIKELY, Unlike yourself I am not saying its the Gospel Truth.
Wrong. Ad free is cheaper. Hulu ad free was $21-$22 a month by itself it’s 9-10 with spectrum and has the Disney+ and espn unlimited with the tv plus option . HBO is $7 for ad free, paramount + w showtime ad free is $5. You could bundle with the gig internet $40 2 yrs for gig with at least 2 unlimited plus lines for $30 each.
Well as of 8/19 base Hulu is now free with select package and the ad free is $10 bundle with Hulu. Things change. Just because it wasn’t available to you when you attempted doesn’t mean it’s not available.
I can't really stand anything spectrum they get on my nerves. Would I use them for service? Absolutely not but especially not wireless service. Go to AT&t, Verizon or T-Mobile. Literally anything but spectrum mobile. Even something like cricket or visible would be way better
If you wanna save yes, but 1 think I will say is getting set up. You'll probably have a rocky start, especially if you never had them before, and it also depends on area, but once you get all that over with it should be fine. Currently I have no issues. Honestly just make sure they give you equipment that's up to date because of equipment was horrible for me.
Yes
Spectrum offers all them apps add free but when I called them it would cost me $50 more a month to get them through them then I have paying for them separately so I chose to just keep my spectrum TV choice 15 package I got entertainment view plus which gives me premium HBO and I have their 1 gig internet service and I have four cell phone lines through them because they use Verizon towers I got a year for free my wife got a year for free my son got a year for free my granddaughter is getting a year for free now and everything works good.

Honestly, the streaming week looks stacked, like the movies, gaming, even random stuff like karaoke and Baby Shark. If you had this on your TV, which one would you actually use the most? I feel like I’d end up on the Disney+ or hulu bundle a lot.
that’s quite a range of offers across movies, music, and gaming. Seems like there’s something for most types of viewers
LG really went all out this time 😎 Movies, music, games, and kids’ stuff feels like there’s something for everyone. That Disney+ deal though… yes please!
Yeah, I noticed that too! I like how they’re trying to cover different interests instead of just focusing on one thing. The Disney+ deal is definitely a nice bonus especially if you’ve got kids or just enjoy rewatching the classics.”
Totally! 😄 I love that they’re thinking of everyone makes it way more exciting to check out all the perks. That Disney+ bundle really is a win for families and nostalgia fans alike!
kinda cool how they’ve got options for different setups like small portable speakers, bigger home ones, and even earbuds. the discounts make it tempting, especially if you’ve been waiting to upgrade your sound without spending too much
This is nice
That certainly is an odd group of people to choose for an advertisement
Fox One, with programs starring John Deathshead, Chad Cock, and Professor Brainus.
It sounds like an admission of guilt.
Which is weird because Fox's whole reputation is being unapologetically horrible for humanity.
Maybe after all the sexual harassment lawsuits and the huge Dominion lawsuit, the Fox marketing team's first pitch was:
FOX ONE: WE'RE SORRY
And then one of the Murdoch ghouls was like "NEVER APOLOGIZE" and that's how they ended up with this weirdness.
“Yeah I did it, so what?” energy
/uj what the fuck is Dr Pentos from Grimsburg doing there. That character fucking sucks
I wonder if they just grabbed the first animated character they saw, or whatever intern designed this decided to put in such an obscure character as a joke
Just a poorly written character in general.
Why’d they use a picture of Gutfeld from like 10 years ago
Disney+
Having the same issue with them!!!! Whyyyyyyyyyyy like banging my head
For reference, these companies require human chat agents to take 4 chats at the same time. They were probably busy helping 2-3 other people and yours got lost in the suffle.
Go to the store and hopefully they can get more help
This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw this. I would only deal with something like this in person. And yeah ,for people that might bitch about it being too far away, I've driven 2 hrs to the Apple Store to get shit like this done. It's worth it in the long run and I'd do it again.
Looks like AI took the job of the human that would have hung up on you.

Share a plan with my wife and kid. Their phones plate out as well. Mine is still working. Theirs are newer phones. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
My phone says SOS, can’t make calls. I moved around and it briefly showed bars but no cellular data. Then back to SOS. My partner also has Verizon but he isn’t having any issues. What the heck?? Anyone else with Verizon dealing with this??
Out for me since 2pm. Don’t think it’s dependent on type of phone because my husband and I have the same phone, are sitting next to each other, and are on the same plan and his has been working fine.
Over in hillsborough county and have 0 service on verizon.
My service seems to have been restored. Anyone else still down tho?
Yep! My phone has been weird since the last update. This time I got sos and then prompted to connect to a satellite. Seems fine this morning but I feel like it happens at the worst times
Yeah mine did the same thing, I had never seen the satellite icon before so I was kinda confused at first. Mine is also back up and hopefully it stays!
This outage only appeared to impact Verizon direct customers. People with mvnos such as Visible, Total, US Mobile, xMobile, etc don't appear to have been impacted.

Well one reason is that streaming services have different content in different countries. I could tell you a bunch of stuff that’s on Disney+ in Canada but that won’t help if you’re in the US where it only has Disney content.
Wouldn't it be easier for the people asking for suggestions to post what streamers they have and/or the country where they reside, which many requesters already do? For example, if I know the requester is outside of the US, I won't recommend anything that's only on Hulu. 🙂
Hulu is available through the Disney app in the UK.
Is the entire Hulu library available through Disney UK?
Yes, either way works for me. To be clear though, I haven't (yet) asked for suggestions, just read others' threads.
I'm only speaking for myself, but if I know what streamers the requester has, I don’t mind making sure that they have access to anything I recommend. However, many shows are not exclusive to one streamer, and I don't think anyone is going to list all of the possible sources for a show. If recommenders only list where they saw the show, you could miss out. That's why the Just Watch app is a must have for finding shows. IMDb also does that, but I'm not sure it’s as accurate. 😀
Some of us are old and own boxed sets of DVDs of our favorite and most recommended shows. I have no clue where some stream now. Sorry you have to go fishing in the stream for good TV shows.
Hah, I have recently been picking up DVDs at the local Goodwill, mainly out of frustration at how many movies/shows disappear from all platforms! Picked up the complete box set of The Shield, which I somehow managed to have never seen. Saving for a rainy day when I lose internet/power.
I'd watch it ASAP - it's awesome.
I highly recommend you to use the website (and app) "Justwatch". Search for the name of the show/movie and make sure the put your country in and it will show you wherever it is available. (I sound like an ad for it, but truly it works well and its really helpful)
I do use that site, although I have found it is not always accurate, unfortunately. I also use IMDB. But with dozens of titles, it just gets to be a lot.
That's what I use for myself and my recommendations. Although it's a little slow at times for me, it's extremely helpful. 😀
$20 for all five (Netflix+Max) (Disney+, Hulu&ESPN) do you like it? I don’t care about having ads. What don’t you not like.. give me all the deets
Not much to it, it's a great deal if you use them. If you already have accounts with any of them, you keep all your profiles, it just pulls it into your Verizon bill and you don't have to worry about updating various payment methods every couple of years. Not really any downside.
It’s so weird because we used to have Disney+ & Hulu and there are some shows we can’t watch lol like I really want to watch The Bear and it wasn’t on our Hulu..
The bear is on Hulu. It’s there for me and I have the bundle from Verizon.
Weird, I haven't watched it yet but it's there for me. I don't know why it would matter but are you accessing Hulu through their app or through the Disney app?
do you watch those streaming services? It’s a waste of money if you just buy it then don’t use them. To be honest, Hulu and maybe Disney+ have tons of ads and ESPN+ it’s just boring. You can upgrade to ad-free from Hulu directly and pay for the difference.
netflix and hbo max is short on ads but you can upgrade both to ad-free on top of the perk price. Every upgrade made would be added to the bill.
by all means it really depends on how much you watch those content on those platforms.
I would give credit to the Netflix and hbo max since Netflix doesn’t do bundles directly and it’s tax free.
Hi, check this webiste it has everything: https://streamr-see.web.app For adblocking use ublock origin lite or ublock origin. It will work without ads smoothly
It's a great way to advertise five streaming services for only $20 with ads now. Just a year ago, you could get the same deal for $20 without ads on Disney Plus plus other 4 streaming services. The great way to get most of Verizon $10 perks is not to have all of them in the same month but focus on streaming a couple services in a couple months, and then switch to others and only pay $10 per month in total perks.
‘Member when you could just turn on the tv and tune it to channel 18 for most of the games?
Those are what we call the good ol days. I think they were on 18 and on 24 too. Same with the Bucks
Good ol Super 18
I remember when it was 24.
Yup. Gave up years ago when the Baileys app never worked. Argh
Same. I tried to pay for and use Bally for two years. At least a couple times a month I had to resort to stream websites anyway. Ridiculously bad service and app for how expensive it is. I gave up.
I’m not paying to watch games on TV in a stadium I already pay for.
It kills my interest in the rest of the MLB/NBA since it’s so much harder to follow than it used to be. I follow the Brewers/Bucks but being interested in other teams is hard when I can’t easily watch games.
As a T-Mobile member, I get MLB.tv for free. Not anymore, I guess.
Same. I like not having to rely on shady sites to watch my baseball, but I can't see either A) tmobile getting it free again next year with ESPN having it and B) me coming anywhere near paying for it.
I think they have a few years left on contract if I remember correctly with the mlb directly not broadcasters.
I think people are overreacting. ESPN streaming app will be $29.99 a month separate from anything else. So you’ll get MLB for free still, but if you want to watch the ONE game that’s on ESPN, you’ll have to pay for that month out go someplace and watch it there.
same here, thanks tmobile having friend who doesn't care about baseball.
Baseball streams that I definitely 100% definitely pay for are always the best of all sports for some reason. It's the best.
Imagine a world where they could figure out a reasonable price and way to watch every game of one team. Imagine all the money they could make from that. I can't even find this shit on the radio anymore; it's the same thing.
