How to Recover a Hacked WhatsApp Account?

Hi everyone, I need some advice about a banking mistake I made.

My mother wanted to transfer money from her BIL account to her Spuerkeess account but she accidentally sent it to my Spuerkeess account. I tried to forward the money to her correct Spuerkeess account, but I accidentally entered the wrong IBAN. As a result, the money ended up in a completely wrong account, I think. Because 2000€ left my banc account but never arrived on hers.

I’ve written my bank just now but I’m worried that once the recipient uses the money, it may be much harder (or impossible) to get it back. And since Spuerkeess can’t be contacted on weekends I don’t know what I could do further.

My questions are: What are my chances of recovering the money? Are there any steps I can take immediately, before the recipient spends it, to secure a refund? Has anyone in Luxembourg experienced something similar and what worked for them?

I put the correct name, I think I just typoed one number wrong, can’t be sure as an account statement still isn’t given to me for that transaction

Well i am afraid the money may be gone. Espec with luxtrust verified and confirmed transfer order.

Only chance is to contact on monday, and or try to contact the card company( but odds are low.)

Might be held tho if bank (yours or receiver sees that name doesnt match with the iban holder)

I think it will bounce back. There is a good chance this comes to Spuerkees, gets flagged as a non matching name with IBAN. Also chances are quite slim the IBAN is actually correct. BIL should be able to request a charge back.

Tried it on three different devices. I found some people saying logging on while on mobile data instead of WiFi will fix it, but I had no luck with that either.

Long story short someone hacked my exes phone and messaged me to help them make a what’s app account and asked for me to send them the code sent to my phone to make a account and they actually used my phone number to make a account. It won't get you anywhere

Just request a code every 4 hours or right as the timer expires to see if you can do it before the bit requests one and uses an incorrect code to prevent you from using valid code

Friend was tricked by a caller into giving out code to someone over the phone who subsequently locked her out of her WhatsApp. She can not log back via sms because system keeps saying she has requested too many sms messages and to try again in 8 hours. Also email attached to account has been changed. WhatsApp support is totally useless. It’s just am AI that repeats the same information and close the ticket. Is there any remedy ?

The link was fake. Since you entered your account information into the fake link she can log into your account and steal your stuff.

When she eventually maxes out your credit card buying Robux you'll be stuck deciding whether to chargeback the purchases through the back, which will result in account termination, or you can request a refund through support, get just a 7 day ban and hope they refund it.

First, if you reuse your password on multiple sites change all of them to something unique, as they have the ability to hack your other accounts. Then you should try chatting with Roblox support, though the support is not always helpful.
