He's hard at first, because he hides in his room half the time like Sebastian. But once you get enough hearts to open his door, it's much easier because you know where he is.

The mindset I had to get into was to go early in the morning to his office. No late evening last minute gifts, but since he's almost always at work, he's actually pretty easy to get to during clinic hours in the mornings.

Oh man, I lost both of my grandfathers and struggled with depression. I have lost it hard at the grandfather saying hes proud of "me" and watching from above and Shane hitting his lowest. This game is honestly so beautifully made.

Iirc I would always just drop in his clinic right as it opened (9am) and he'd be there or in his apartment most days. The wiki has a detailed schedule that you can check depending on what season you're in though

Edit: oh I totally missed the part where you can't get back there. Wiki says he spends some afternoons by the fountain and is in the saloon on rainy nights

I try to get to his clinic before noon because that seems to be when he leaves to do other things
