Understanding the Game's Structure
In "Persona 3: Reload," there are no complex prerequisites or hidden requirements to unlock the best ending. The game features a straightforward choice near the end that determines the outcome, and it's clear which option leads to the good ending [1:1]
[1:2]. This simplicity means players can focus more on enjoying the story and character interactions without worrying about missing out on significant content due to hidden quests or decisions.
Character Side Quests
While there isn't detailed information specifically about hidden quests in "Persona 3: Reload," insights from other games suggest that character-specific side quests might not be distinctly marked [5:2]. In some games, these quests are integrated into the main storyline or appear as regular side quests. It's beneficial to engage with all available side quests, as they often enhance character relationships and provide deeper insights into the game's narrative.
Completionist Approach
For those aiming for a completionist playthrough, engaging with all side quests is advisable. In similar games, completing all character-related quests can sometimes unlock additional content or rewards [5:1]. While "Persona 3: Reload" may not have explicitly hidden quests, ensuring that you complete all available quests can help maximize your experience and uncover any potential hidden gems within the game.
Using Guides and Resources
If you're concerned about missing content, consider using guides or walkthroughs that list quests by character or chapter. However, be cautious of spoilers if you prefer to experience the story organically [5:2]. Engaging with community resources like forums or wikis can also provide helpful tips and strategies without revealing too much of the plot.
Overall, while "Persona 3: Reload" doesn't seem to have intricate hidden quests, staying attentive to available side quests and making informed choices will ensure a fulfilling gameplay experience.
I'm about to play P3R and was wondering what stuff I'm going to need to do to get the best ending. When I played P5R completely blind, I ended up missing out on the 3rd semester and had to play through the game again. With P4G while looking up what I needed to do to get the golden ending, I ended up spoiling myself on a couple of important plot details, so I figured I'd ask y'all what I need to do to get the best ending, with the minimum amount of information possible.
Nothing. Ig there is a choise that can give you the bad ending near the end of the game, but its pretty obvious what that is when you get to it. I would recommend you do the hanged man sl so you can unlock the sun sl though. The sun sl it the best one in all of persona imo and you need to experience it. You gotta do the hanged man first though.
P3's ending is determined by a single binary choice near the end of the game and the correct answer is extremely obvious. There are no special requirements.
There isn’t anything like that.
There is a bad ending. A character in December will give you two options.
One leads to the bad ending. It is very obvious from his description and the game warning which choice is which.
There is absolutely nothing you need to worry about in that respect regarding P3 bud. There is a decision late into the game that decides good vs bad ending but beyond that there's not a massive chunk of the game you'll be locked out of by not meeting a hidden pre-requisite. That said, Persona 3 Reload's post-game story, the Answer is DLC so you'd need to buy it separately if you want to dive into it.
Hey guys, just some background info: I've only played Persona 4 Golden, loved it to death but being a completionist I sunk like 200 hours into it to get all the achievements. Ahead of the alleged remake coming soon I need to get on playing P5, and after P3R.
I'm looking for some pointers that'll help me cut down grind time on my P5 playthrough(s). Dates I should keep in mind, priority social links, dialog options, points of no return, etc.
Minor spoilers are fine, I've already been exposed to some plot details from the early- to mid-game. As long as I'm not hearing about major plot twists and character moments or the ending I'm good on everything else 🤙 thanks for the help!
Whatever you do MAKE SURE TO FINISH THE COUNCILOR ARCANA BEFORE THE END OF THE NOVEMBER ARC. Doing so unlocks (in my opinion) the best arc in the entire persona series.
Priority social links
Fortune: Once per day, you can pay to choose a social stat to boost. Any points you gain for the chosen stat that day will be increased by 50% (rounded down). Additionally, once per day, you can pay to choose a social link that's not ready to rank up yet, and immediately gain extra points for that link without spending time.
There are other abilities, too, but those two alone will easily save you about two weeks worth of time slots at least.
Temperance: On specific days, you will gain free time during class to work on social stats or other tasks. You will be able to do various minor activities such as cooking or crafting by spending money instead of time. Most importantly, once the link is maxed out, doing a dungeon run during the day will no longer take up your night slot as well.
Again, depending on how much you use it, this will save at least two weeks worth of time slots.
Chariot: Rank 7 will allow you to instantly kill any enemy that's 10+ levels lower than you simply by dashing at it on the field. This gives you all the EXP, Money, and Item rewards you would have got from the battle anyways, as well as the Persona you could have gotten by negotiating. Massively speeds up trips back through lower levels of the basic dungeon, and if you overlevel enough, can completely trivialize the main dungeons as well.
Sun, Star, and Moon also give fairly useful abilities.
Councillor is required in order to unlock most of the new content in Royal, however, NOT finishing Councillor is required in order to get the original endings. Whether that's worth it or not is up to you, but keep a back-up save in early November with Councillor at rank 8 just in case.
Believe it or not, the subreddit has an "algorithm" -- not a hardcore day-by-day guide, but a collection of tips for raising stats AND general prioritizing suggestions like you asked for.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Persona5/s/qBb0PckMBT
If that's TL;DR there's this comment that lists a rough monthly set of priorities.
ALSO: you know Marie and her SL unlocking things right? Use the subreddit FAQ to learn which SL is the equivalent for Royal in allowing you to see additional content. will grant you access to additional stuff!
P4G's a lil infamous for all the early endings, but P5 is much easier to spot when you have an important choice (yes/no question) in lategame. You're a heavy completionist so you know using the matching Arcana helps etc, basically good luck and enjoy!

I'm curious, are there dedicated character side quests in the game? Like specifically for them or is it just the green quests itself? And are they locked behind these green quests since it increases their relationship
There are. Though I don't think that their markers are any different from the other side quests. It would be nice if they had an indicator that this quest is specific to this party member. I almost got Yuffie for the date sequence my first playthrough because I hadn't done enough Tifa quests yet. Would have been nice to know which ones were Tifa ones cause I spent an awful lot of time searching them out. You could also use a guide that lists the quests according to character - though going that route could spoil something.
This is only an issue on first playthroughs. NewGame+ playthroughs keep track of what you've already done including relationship status info.
The green quests will each have a specific party member tied to it, their face will appear on the quest screen once you’ve accepted it I believe? Doing these, unlocking folios and using the synergy skills, as well as convos in the major towns will all increase relationship status
As far as I know there are a total of 36 side quests in this game. You get 7 side quests dedicated to each party member (Tifa/Aerith/Barrett/Yuffie/Red). That's already 35. The last one (Can't Stop Won't Stop) is hidden and only unlocks when all 35 are completed.
unfinished confidants: futaba (8), yusuke (5), iwai (7), shinya (4), sumire (6)
so far i've done ryuji and makoto's third awakenings
The main draw of the third awakening is the skill. I.e.
Makoto's does Debilitate to all enemies for 45 SP.
Ryuji provides Charge for the whole team.
Futaba revives all teammates, heals everyone to full health, boosts everyone's attack, defense, and agility, removes all status ailments, boosts everyone's critical rate...and maybe provides Charge and Concentrate. Not sure about that part.
Focus on Futaba and Sumire. Then any 3rd awakenings. The others are too far away. Iwai is probably fine since he’s nights only.
Depends on if you want to max confidants or have broken third awakening skills. Ann casts party-wide concentrate, morgana has multi target miracle punch, and haru has party-wide tetrakarn and makarakarn.
When you max them, yusuke has party-wide heat riser and futaba has a skill that combines the effects of salvation, samarecarm, heat riser, and rebellion for the whole party. The skill will also help party members who have been knocked down back on their feet so they can evade once more if more enemies are going to attack. The only catch is that its random when this skill comes out.
Yusuke probably has one of the most underwhelming 3rd semester skill because it can be easily replace by Joker
Yeah but that costs a Joker turn over a Yusuke turn. And tbh Yusuke is broken enough as is anyways.
The 3rd awakening skills of ann(mind charges everyone),ryuji(power charges everyone) and makoto(debilitates every shadow) are goated asf, so go for thaf
It’s up to you, but remember, if you finish a confidant in the 3rd semester, you can also get their third awakening.
For example: say you get Futaba to level 10, she’ll get her second awakening, then you go manually talk to her after that, she’ll ask to talk and you can get her third awakening/ability.
Personally, I would prioritize the thieves (because the third awakening abilities are (mostly) insane), but if you don’t care about strength, then it’s up to you what you do. If you wanna finish some people’s stories then you should go for those rather than trying to make the strongest thing you can :)

I recently played the full game and fell in love, and I'm looking to replay it in a few months while getting all the secret bosses. Is it possible to do this with minimal help from the internet? I know for the first boss I think the cat shopkeeper tells you abt it but IDK how you're supposed to find the others and I don't want to just look it up
The secret bosses in chapters 2 and 4 are about as difficult to find as the chapter 1 secret boss. You should be able to find them without much help.
The chapter 3 secret boss is a bit harder to find, but if you're playing through the game trying to find all the secrets, you'll probably be able to find it.
chapter 4 is the easiest by far
Chapter 2: tells/begs you to do exactly what you need to do.
Chapter four: an easily missed target of inspection to start the quest, and instructions are in a riddle.
None of them are very esoteric. You might need to be willing to reload saves or even replay chapters to check things a bit more thoroughly.
There is one variation of a boss that is only playable in very very specific conditions and that is esoteric and unlikely to be found, but it's just a twist on an existing boss fight and doesn't really "count" for most folk.
it's absolutely possible but you'll need a lot of patience! (read further if you want a few small hints)
In my opinion, chapter 1's secret boss is actually the hardest to figure out on your own. You'll have to find 3 different broken key pieces. You're right, the shopkeeper will give you a hint along with one of the pieces. You'll have to explore a bit to find the other two :)
Chapter 2 is pretty straightforward as long as you pay attention to a certain special character. Find them and they'll give you directions on what to do.
Chapter 3 is easy to find but also the most challenging to actually get the required item to defeat the secret boss. You won't have to venture far out to find exactly where you need to be.
Chapter 4 is the easiest to find imo. It's the only secret boss I found on my own actually. A little backtracking will do you good!
and just so you know, 3 out of 4 bosses require a special item to find or defeat them, so keep a look out!
Thank you! I've done the chapter 4 one in my first run it was really easy! If I ever need help could I DM you about it? You seem really good at avoiding spoilers
yeah im alr with that :]
You'll basically just need to backtrack a bit for most of them.
Oh yeah, when you do the secret in Chapter 3, you should *pay careful attention to the dialogue you'll see there*. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
