Online Resources for Weapon Stats
For comprehensive weapon stats in PUBG, several online resources have been recommended by players. The website pubg.op.gg has a dedicated weapons tab that many find useful for checking various weapon statistics [1:1]. Another popular resource is battlegrounds.party, which allows users to manipulate variables such as armor level and distance to see how different guns perform in specific situations
[1:3]
[1:4]. Additionally, "TheBushka's" website offers reliable stats and can be found at thebushka.com
[3:5].
In-Game Stats Menu Suggestions
Many players have expressed frustration over the lack of detailed weapon stats available directly within the game. Suggestions include adding a menu with complete stats such as damage, fire rate, bullet velocity, reload time, and more [2]. While there is currently no comprehensive in-game menu for these statistics, some players have noted that certain stats can be viewed when selecting weapons from the ground or in the inventory after a few seconds
[5:1]
[5:2].
Community Requests for Personal Weapon Handling Stats
Beyond general weapon stats, there is interest in having individual weapon handling stats available in-game. This would include personal metrics like kills, headshots, accuracy, and average bullets fired per game for each weapon [4:2]. Such a feature would allow players to better understand their performance with specific weapons and tailor their strategies accordingly.
Current In-Game Options
While PUBG does not currently offer a full-fledged in-game weapon stats menu, some basic information can be accessed via tooltips when hovering over weapons in certain contexts. However, this functionality is limited and does not cover all desired stats [5:3]. Players looking for detailed comparisons often rely on external resources or community-created spreadsheets
[1:6].
These discussions highlight a strong demand for more accessible and detailed weapon statistics within PUBG, both for general knowledge and personal performance tracking. Until such features are implemented, players continue to rely on external websites and community resources for the most accurate data.
Looking for a chart that shows all variables pertaining to guns in pubg. Ive found a few on google and checked out a mobile app but i was wondering what everyone has used or if there is a resource that seems to be considered the best?
Thanks in advance.
Both of these first posted links are great.
Also gonna add.. holy shit, the crossbow does some ridiculous damage.
Yup, 1 hit on a Level 3 Helmet.
Best SR in the game xD
Edit: thanks for creating this post. Learnt a lot about how much damage each different weapon does!
This site is excellent because it lets you play with all the variables to see not only the raw numbers but a sense of the actual situational value of guns.
I've been using this for quite a while now: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1r9HdpgmLHYQt0gxFotKHetbWBDQmYAyZ0sO8aKMc3aA/edit#gid=0
pubg.op.gg has a weapons tab. I find it pretty useful.
Why can't we just have the weapon stats inside the game. It can easily be put into the menu with the silly charms. They already have all the numbers it would take little effort even by their standards to incorporate. Damage to each body part with each type of armor, fire rate, bullet velocity, reload time, time to kill, damage drop off. Just put every stat in there.
Great suggestion, would be useful and convenient. Unfortunately these guys have the worst UI/UX team working for them.
They are the worst devs in the industry and live up to their title nearly every patch.
In that same vein, put actual numbers in-game on the weapon stats when you hover over them
How can I find a list of all the guns specs to compare damage, fire rate, range, etc.
when you go into loadout to change a weapon there is a pentagon but if you click it it will turn into numbers and then you can compare.
No ttk, bullet speed, or firing rate though still interesting food for thought when playing around with what works for one’s gameplay abilities.
It used to exist where there was a description of the gun and the ststs but it was swapped out for the loadout
There are docs that people have put together if you Google it. I don't think there is a menu in the game.
Try “TheBushka’s” website he has reliable stats - https://www.thebushka.com/
This may already be a thing but I’d like to see individual weapon stats. It would be cool to see how many kills with each weapon, how many headshots, accuracy with said weapon, k/d, even “avg number of bullets fired per game” ( that may be a bit much with the last one). If it is a thing though I’d love to know.
head over to "TheBushka" on youtube and you'll find a link to his discord server, in video description, where he has detailed sheet of that weapon info.
I checked it out good stuff but not what I’m talking about. I’m talking like an in game stat menu that shows your individual stats with each gun in the game. For example.
[M416] (headshots: 29) (Accuracy: 45%) (avg bullets per round: 250) (kills: 60 )
[AKM] .... Etc..
My bad! Didn't read it full the first. But yeah this would be cool to show up
Read the whole thing. He wants to know his own weapon handling stats, not weapon stats.
My bad. Read it in a haste
Is it possible to show the weapon stats in game in the inventory like for attachments or other items? I mean the tooltip that is displayed after a few seconds on the selected item. Somehow it does not work for weapons equiped on the primary/secondary slot.
If you just leave it selected in the inventory for a few seconds they just show up for me
yes, that works for almost anything, but not for weapons
I found out, that you can see the weapon stats if the weapon is on the ground (not in your inventory). Just select the weapon and wait till the tooltip
All I get from google are Confusing stats of Pubg weapons. Some sites show AR having more bullet speed than Sniper rifles and DMR. M4 having 880m/s initial bullet speed. While kar98k having 760m/s. What kind of bullshit is this. Screenshots are in the comments. If anyone knows the official and updated pubg weapon stats pls help me.
http://www.battlegrounds.party/weapons/?weapon=AKM&armor=0&helmet=0&distance=10&htk=dmg&pel=true&burst=false&veh=&health=100 These are the Correct damage Stats and calculations for Time to kill. The bullet velocity is not shown but i think it was never changed on any weapon. So the values you find about these on other sites should be correct
If you dig the raw files from the site you linked you can find initial bullet velocities.
http://www.battlegrounds.party/weapons/raw/
I recently got the 9 highest bullet velocity for another thread so I might as well post it here.
Weapon | Velocity (m/s) |
---|---|
Mini | 990 |
AWM/QBU | 945 |
AUG | 940 |
M249 | 915 |
M16 | 900 |
M416 | 880 |
Scar/G36/QBZ | 870 |
Mk14 | 853 |
SLR | 840 |
The damages are outdated as all 556 ars deal 41 damage except the m16 but those bullet speeds are correct I believe.
So 940 bulletspeed of Aug is correct?
5.56 ARs will obviously have faster bullets than 7.62 snipers
I believe so yes. Wiki says 970 irl.
Yes
this is a weird way to google something
Your stats with each bolt:
Mastery -> weapons -> SRs.
You can only look at one weapon's stats at a time, to compare you'd need to write them down.
I don't know if there's a way to see the actual stats of the weapons in game, like base damage, multipliers, muzzle velocity, etc.
Thanks! Not sure what mastery/SRs is?
In the main lobby screen, there are a bunch of teams across the top (posting from phone, or I'd do a screen cap), starting with "Play", and ending with "Season". Mastery is to the left of Season. In the Mastery main screen, you have tabs for each weapon group type (assault rifles=AR (m416, m16a4, AKM, Beryl, Scar, QBZ DMR=dedicated marksman rifle (SKS, SLR, Mini14, VSS, Mk14, QBU); SR=sniper rifle (98k, M24, Win94), you get the idea. The main page of each group shows a list of the weapons in the group and what level you have earned for each. Select a weapon to see more details. Every five levels, you get a new charm you can display on the weapon in game. A bit of a gimmick, to be sure. There's also a summary of your work with the weapon: defeats, damage done, headshots etc.
Again, these ate your stats using the weapon, not the stats of the weapon. Those have been explored by a number of people online, though I don't have a good source for current weapon particulars.
Stats question - Weapon kill count maxed out at 1288 kills?
I use the PUBG stats tracker app and under the mastery section it shows you each individual weapon’s number of kills and defeats. For many months now my top weapon has been stuck at 1288 kills and 1466 defeats. I know for sure I am far beyond this but it appears to have stopped counting or hit a max limit.
Why is this happening? How do I see the true number of kills and defeats I have had with each weapon in my time playing the game.
Thx
Probably stopped counting when they revamped weapon mastery would be my guess.
That’s really too bad
I want to see all the stats in order to compare weapons and pick the best during the battle. I found many websites on Google and I've noticed that stats are not always accurate between them. Some may be old, some may be new, etc. What is the best place to check for CURRENT stats? The website called gosu.ai seems to be interesting, is it good though? Thank you in advance!
battlegrounds.party I think
This is the correct answer. Whoever is maintaining that is a legend.
Absolute legend
⤴️ Not a virus lol, takes you to a google doc with all current weapons and stats
UPDATED for 17.`1 and the NEW ACE32! Some stats are missing as the datamined files have not yet been posted.
Hello both veterans and those new to the game!
Back when I first started started playing years ago I wanted a quick and easy way to view gun damage, bullet velocity, damage numbers for gun.V.armor matchups, etc. I ended up finding a very handy google spreadsheet made by a fellow redditor. Well, I've kept my own updated copy! I can't seem to find anything similar out there, or any websites with recent weapon additions, so I figured I'd make a public version anyone can access.
The information was pulled directly from datamined game files, which can be found at: http://battlegrounds.party/weapons/raw/
I hope it helps some of the new people who will be joining come F2P. It's a hard game, but don't give up. We were all shit at it once upon a time (still am, actually). It's worth the investment. And we veterans are glad to have you.
I've made it so that you can download your own copy and toy around with it if you'd like. Since there are no gun balance changes coming with 15.2 according to the notes, this will remain up to date after the patch. I plan to continually update the published version as guns get added/balanced, but I make no promises.
When I was getting it ready to publish I noticed quite a few errors in the formulas that probably occurred when adding new information/weapons, so if anyone notices other errors/omissions, just comment or DM me. Same goes for questions and suggestions.
For those who don't know, shotguns each fire 9 pellets/shot. The damage charts in the sheet for shotguns assume all 9 pellet hits that part but where your pellets end up varies wildly, even if your reticle is well placed. In addition, while most guns' bullets deal damage up to 1000 meters, shotguns can only deal damage up to 150 meters.
Edit: Further notes: Slightly darker colors under "Body Shot Damage" indicate one less bullet is required if all shots hits the upper section of the chest which deals 110% damage (see graphic: https://pubgfanstore.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/weapon-guide.png).
Credit goes to u/dak4ttack for creating the original as well as the following notes about drag in their original post:
>The VSS has a drag of "1" - it isn't affected by drag at any distance, the bullet never slows down. This confirms what WackyJacky posted in a video when he was testing it.
>
>It's weird that different weapons with the same ammo type have different drag coefficients - so even though one gun might have a higher initial bullet speed, another gun's bullet might slow down less. This would mean leading targets more or less depending on the drag coefficient in addition to bullet speed at different ranges.
>
>The AKM doesn't have a VDragCoefficient variable, so I don't know how drag is handled or if they forgot to add it for this weapon. (pistols/shotguns/melee also don't have this variable, but the AKM sticks out because it is used at range).
Edit: Spreadsheet has been updated with 16.1 changes to the M416 and the K12. Additionally, credit goes to u/yonutzuuz for noticing incorrect DMG values, the QBZ and Scar-L have been updated.
See you on the battlefield!
Now I need to HS someone who has a LVL3 helmet with a crossbow. For science...
It works... I've done it. 1-shot HS, no matter what level. It's so satisfying.
Hey hey just wondering what the definition of spread is?
Awesome stuff btw - thanks!
Quick terminology: 'Hipfiring': Not moving, not holding any button to reduce spread.
'Aiming': Holding the button to reduce your firing spread, which reduces your movement.
'Scoping': Aiming Down Sights, further reducing movement.
So 'spread' in the gamefiles is what determines how close/far your bullet(s) may miss your reticle when hipfiring (shown visually by the other tickmarkers around your main reticle). For example, if you look at how far out your tickmarkers are from your main reticle dot when hipfiring with a sniper vs an SMG, you can see that the markers are much closer with the SMG, because they have a lower 'spread' value. When you 'aim' (hold R2 on PC) it lowers the spread. They used to have values for "scoping" but I believe they did away with those, because I haven't been able to find any since I last combed through the datafiles a few years ago. However, I can tell you that the spread for each class of weapon when scoping is directly proportional to their range i.e., Snipers have very little spread when scoped, so do DMRs, ARs a little more, SMG a bit more, Shotguns a lot more. When Scoped you can essentially ignore the spread value as Scoped accuracy is based on weapon type. Also, I have no idea how the 'spread' value affects shotguns. Shotgun spread has and always will be a mystery to me. However, I did notice my spread values for them were incorrect, their spread values have been corrected and are on par with the ARs.
TLDR: Spread is how far your bullets can miss your reticle when hipfiring.
Great work! Thanks for this!!
You're welcome! It's been a labor of love. LoL
That describes this game to a T as well!!
Awesome, thank you!
Quick question, what is this spreadsheet's definition of range?
So in the datamined files there is a "reference distance" statistic for each gun. The original spreadsheet I copied years ago used that number as a 'range' stat, and I have continued that interpretation in my updated sheet. The higher this number, the farther the gun holds its regular damage value. However, I don't know if the "reference distance" number is supposed to mean the starting distance for dmg drop off, the median for damage drop off, or the end point for damage drop off. In the past I have found a website that shows when damage drop off begins and ends for each gun in the form of a graph, but I can't find it at this moment. Wish I could so I could link it for you. Sorry.
Nice thanks
PUBG weapon stats
Key Considerations for PUBG Weapon Stats:
Damage: Each weapon has a specific damage output, which is crucial for determining how quickly you can eliminate opponents. For example, the AWM (Arctic Warfare Magnum) has one of the highest damage outputs at 120 damage per shot.
Rate of Fire: This indicates how quickly a weapon can fire bullets. Weapons like the M416 have a high rate of fire, making them effective in close to mid-range combat.
Reload Speed: Faster reload speeds can be critical in intense firefights. For instance, the UMP45 has a relatively quick reload time compared to other SMGs.
Effective Range: Different weapons excel at different ranges. Sniper rifles like the Kar98k are effective at long distances, while shotguns like the S1897 are best for close quarters.
Recoil Control: Some weapons have higher recoil, making them harder to control during sustained fire. The AKM has high damage but also significant recoil, while the M416 is more manageable.
Attachments: The effectiveness of a weapon can be greatly enhanced with the right attachments (e.g., scopes, grips, suppressors). For example, adding a compensator can help reduce recoil significantly.
Takeaways:
Recommendation: Familiarize yourself with the stats of your preferred weapons and practice with them to understand their handling and performance in different scenarios. This will help you make informed choices during gameplay.
