Hey I know this is an old thread but I'm just curious why you put Starlord on the top 10 when you're missing characters like War Machine, Winter Solider, Antman, Wasp, Wong, Valkyrie and possibly more.

This list is wild. I mean, number 1 and 2 spot is debatable in the MCU. In comics way different story for the whole list. In the MCU, Sentry could be #1 or Scarlet Witch could be #1. I do feel Thor in prime form should be above Captain Marvel. Doctor Strange should be right below Sentry at the very least at best, he rivals Scarlet Witch. Hulk is hard...personally he should be above Avenger Thor but below Ragnarok Thor. There is an argument to be made that he's below Captain Marvel. She has feats especially in Endgame that are way more impressive than "Dude-bod Thor" or Hulk. We never see Professor Hulk fight so he could be a much better fighter than Savage Hulk in terms of tactics and hand-to-hand combat (strength may just be lower in MCU). That being said Captain Marvel taking out warships seems to only be a feat we see out of Thor. If Hulk cared to jump that high or could fly he may be able to do the same. Either way we haven't seen how powerful or weak Professor Hulk really is. Shang Chi should be in the 10th spot. Vision should be 7th with mindstone and a vibranium body he's tough enough to body several of the Avengers on this list. 8th spot should be Valkaryie as she was trying the Hulk to fight and survived Hela while doing major damage to Thanos' forces. 9th spot should be Ironman and it's really just his tech and durability in the suit. Otherwise Shang Chi would be higher than him. With rings I would put Shang Chi over Ironman.

4. Thor (Infinty War or Love and Thunder Otherwise below Captain Marvel)
5. Captain Marvel
6. Hulk (pending form I'd put him higher on the list).
7. Vision (it's ridiculous the disrespect he's gotten on the rank)
8. Valkyrie
9. Ironman (in his Infinty War or Endgame armor he could be in 7th spot)
10. Shang Chi (base form, with Rings he's probably a tie with Captain Marvel or Hulk)

I feel like people underrate Thor all the time while getting too starry eyed over Captain Marvel. Like I get it, she's strong. But I haven't seen anything from the MCU variants to think she's stronger than Thor.

MCU Hulk probably shouldn't be 6. Comic Hulk would probably be higher than 6, but MCU Hulk is not.

Spidy, black panthers, iron man, and cap are all stronger. Even Bucky and black widow arguably are stronger than her.

Bob is the strongest. Shang Chi and Valkyrie are not supposed to be on the list. And Spider-Man has more strength than Captain America even if Spidey isn't skilled as much as Cap, so he's also supposed to be on this list.

MCU Hulk I’d put at 10 for sure that dude doesn’t even fight anymore

It’s funny because officially, the ones on this list who technically were never Avengers are actually Dr. Strange and Valkyrie (Shang-Chi is kinda ambiguous, because he at least gets plugged into the post-Avengers network at the end of his movie)

From some quick research, it seems Shang Chi's Ten Rings places him just above the upper range of human heroes, (Black Panther, Iron Man, etc) beating out Cap and Spider-Man. I dont recall scenes from the movie too well, but the rings did seem to be pretty formidable in combat. I remember his dad handled a medieval chinese army with ease.

I dont know much about Valkyrie, but given that she was a...uh..valkyrie, I'd assume she's not far under Thor with similar powers.

Yaaa.. the whole power ranking argument it hard in the MCU since it’s so inconsistent, but this is just garbage.

Just because of the Hammer, Cap is up on Thor level. Iron Man’s suit can do pretty much everything now. Scarlett Witch damn bear took Thanos on her ones. Cap Marvel the same.

It’s a disgrace what’s happened to Hulk. What a waste but oh well.

Edit: oh, if only based on this film, take strange out. He didn’t do much if anything.

Strange needed to be up there too, we didn't get to see much of him, but he helped bring everyone to the battle and held off the food like a mystical Moses.

Hulk fans got screwed over.

Captain Marvel’s feats aren’t really as impressive as some of these other characters. I mean, she destroyed a ship and made Thanos use one stone but that’s it. He had to use the stones a few times back in IW, so like I said, not a major feat.

Thor’s also only as low as he is because of how out of shape he is in this movie, if we went with IW Thor he’d probably be 1 or 2.

Ultron should’ve at least been top 3
