The psychosis over there has reached absolutely insane levels of parasocial delusion. The cult label is REAL.
How do grown adults not look at AB's behavior, for example, and see someone who has clearly manipulated the whole situation and been disloyal to absolutely everyone, especially their king? It makes no sense UGH lol
I refuse to believe that grown adult women and men choose to believe a slimy (not even a good) manipulator like AB
Just wait until those DMs get released.
Just wait till someone over there starts a rumor that AB ordered the skulls and Olivia called CPS.
I'm sure DGG is currently taking notes from this subreddit as we speak
Main sub is an alternate dimension
lovebombing is part of the cycle of many abusers
It really is gross that the crew are just stand-ins for the audience's whims and desires. The 'fans' of the podcast are so parasocial that they are abusing them all for their own dopamine hits (and yeah, lovebombing is definitely part of that cycle)
Just recalled that on a classic of Tim's Toddlers Suicide Bomb he speaks about Charlie Kirk, mainly on how these kinds of people are cast as spokespersons for rich and influential people. Referring to Charlie, Tim says, "these people are cast in these roles by millionaire families like the Mercers, like the Kochs, the same way that a lot of the Parkland kids are cast in those roles". I think it is important to note that Charlie Kirk, and people like him, are NOT the real enemies of normal working people. They in fact are used by big capitalist interest to do the dirty work of being inflammatory. Every political stand he had was contradictory, a Christian who spoke in favor of a genocide in Palestine, supporter of the Second Amendment that was assassinated, hated the universities but made his money and fame by attending campuses. I am sad that Charlie has passed, he had a family and looked just like a guy in the media that said whatever Trump and the people that control Trump wanted him to say, not a real enemy of normal people.
Ah yes, the infamous Coke Brothers.
Koch but pronounced coke
Yes, sorry for the mistake.
It’s Pepsi Sisters now, I’d appreciate it thx
Tucker Carlson and Hunter Biden were close friends behind the scenes lol
Oh now it's a martyr. Are you guys OK?
Good question. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a professional hit
all according to plan
Was looking for this, kudos to you.
I was talking with a co-worker about this, like tons of people you'd have thought would have gotten shot like milo never happened.
Frankly aside from Charlie kirk I can't think of another figure like this who just got straight up shot at a speech.
Where you been?
It was in the script.
Wasn't planned for next season.
Can't wait to see him in some other show.
Well Daniella Monet and Leon Thomas. I know Victoria marched in a Gay Pride parade and a good chunk of Arinators are gay.
I think Victoria is confirmed to be bisexual
Ariana’s brother is gay
I forgot about that.
Avan was the one who created (alongside Josh Hutcherson) ‘Straight But Not Narrow’ ‘dudes supporting dudes who like other dudes’ aka straight but not narrow minded . Matt Bennet did a video for them too. Should be on YouTube.
Ariana has also hinted at a lot about not being 100% straight as well
Man Trina can get it til this day
And they really tried to make us think that Trina was the “ugly” character on the show. She was annoying sure but def not ugly.
Even when I was a youth I the could never convince me that Trina wasn’t the hottest on the show.
Tori still my #1 but the older I get the more I do appreciate Trina 🫡
Snoop dog isnt happy about this
Snoop Dogg is bigger than all of them so he doesn't care
My favorite character is Cat, and well, something I don't want to admit but I have to, is that surely if Cat wasn't played by AG, I probably wouldn't care about Cat, sorry
We're missing one
the queen herself
🎶Trinaaaaaaaaaaaa o-oh Trinaaaaaaaaaaaa 🎶
I really don't get why thin eyebrows were a thing back then for the girls? I guess once Jennifers Body came out in theater that every girl tried to mimic the look and it didn't work on some of them!
Trina still my favorite character and she's not there :(
Nobody come at me this isn’t hate or shade to the cast okay
But I feel like none of the cast really got good roles after TVD. I genuinely can’t think of anything I’ve seen w any of the cast in it other than TVD. The only thing I can think of is Nina in Degrassi and Candice in we were all liars ( I think that’s the name I haven’t seen it srry if it’s wrong)
I really do wonder why that is ?? They all were really great on the show, even the actor who played Matt I felt did a good job even though his character was horribly written (lol), but now it seems like most of the cast is just bringing up TVD a lot and having trouble moving on from it. Do you think this is bc lack of work or bc they just personally don’t wanna move on?
Again this isn’t hate or shade so don’t yell at me lol im just curious what yalls opinions are
Kat Graham has been popping off since TVDU. You just have to follow her to see. Shes been doing tyler perry movies and netflix movies. Like our girl has been WORKING.
I just saw her in a music video for some old song. I can’t remember the song now. But I was like wait! That’s Bonnie! She was super young. Never knew. She was in an adorable Christmas movie on hallmark a few years ago
She was in a lot of MV in her younger days. She was in a Justin Bieber MV, Akon MV and Demi Lovato MV. Our girl works! Lol. Also she has worked with Quincy Jones, Babyface and Prince! So she has amazing connections that made her break out of the cw. She’s going to recently be in the new Michael (Jackson) movie.
her and Arden Cho doing better than their co stars makes me happy😊
Agree - she also starred in the Tupac biopic film 'All Eyez on Me' as Jada Pinkett Smith, one of Tupac's friends during his early years as a rapper.
She is also gonna be Diana Ross in the new movie Michael- which will probably get Oscar nominated 🤷♀️
Exactly! Also, her new movie If I Run is available on Lifetime 😅 and the sequel will be released in 2026. Michael is also coming out in 2026.
It‘s rare for CW actors to become A-listers. They‘re by no means poor and probably don’t have to work at all, but they usually aren’t exactly the first people you think of when someone says Hollywood. With that said, most of them have appeared in several projects, but they just didn’t get as much attention.
I really liked Nina in Love Hard.
But yeah, that's true. I feel like there was a couple of things coming together: some of the actors were just not that good at acting; their "peak" years were very much busy with the series, so they didn't get a big portfolio; the main cast was hyped so much a lot of casting directors were probably worried they'd just be seen as their character in TVD; the jump from TV to film is generally a difficult one and some of them were probably also just not that interested.
Candice did a really good job on her new show called We were Liars
Thanks to Julie Piggy 🤣
It's very rare for teen drama actors (and younger actors in general) to escape that box and go on to do bigger and better things. There's also a certain stigma attached to CW actors, in particular. It's a lot easier to switch between film and TV today than it was back then, but CW actors generally struggle to become huge after their shows are over and their fandoms can't carry them with hype anymore.
Actors like Sebastian Stan, Zendaya, and Blake Lively (to a lesser extent) are the exception, not the rule. Nina attached herself to some popular projects and familiar titles and actors after she left (Xander Cage & Flatliners), but nothing stuck. She seems to be living her best life right now and has a million well-known celebrity friends (mostly the only one in the main cast), so things turned out well for her.
The entire franchise was not quite on the radar of the more "prestigious" parts of Hollywood. To put lightly, no one on the series was "relevant" enough simply because of the network they were on and because TVD was a teen drama. Historically, actors on TDs and the shows themselves are treated as jokes.
Trajectories that I mentioned before like that of Sebastian Stan (who went from being a side/supporting character in Gossip Girl to one of the most significant roles in the MCU, one of the biggest franchises in history) and Zendaya (who started on Disney, was huge in fashion, and had roles in big movies but only caught the attention of the Academy with Euphoria in 2019 and won two Emmys because of it) aren't super common. Unless you're on HBO (and even then it's hit or miss), it's not the norm for actors who have been on (long-running) TV shows to blow up afterward.
In addition to them just not being taken seriously as actors, I'm sure a lot of them aren't chasing mega stardom. They just need a steady income to afford the lives they built with their TVDU paychecks, which is why they just hop from small project to small project, do a lot of conventions, and do those sketchy sponsorship things every now and then.
They've all been in several projects. A couple of the TVDU alum appeared on Roswell, New Mexico. Paul had that Star Trek show. And so on. They just aren't big stuff, and most of them are likely never gonna get roles as popular as TVD. And even though TVD was huge, Twilight (although highly mocked) was a book series and film franchise that was fifteen times more popular. Those actors were on the radar of Hollywood, hence Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart getting these bigger (and more critically acclaimed) roles today.
I love how Beck Oliver was born in Canada just like the actor
They wrote Beck to be from Canada to reference Avan being from there
It’s sad that the two girls in Florida aren’t closer with each other because they grew up about 20 miles apart.
They were close but fake beef caused the separation
So? Ari can't contact Vic as much as she did Liz if the beef was fake.
And they are the same age too
20 miles isn’t a lot, that’s crazy to think abt
I’m gonna do a role-play on victorious on Polly buzz with us
Victoria's from Florida?
She was born in Hollywood, Florida (Miami suburb) and moved to Los Angeles when she was 10.
Throw in Liz Gillies and you'd see my entire sexual awakening lol
And don't forget about our beautiful, compact bibble lover Ariana Grande....she is our super cute fifth wheel!!! You must admit...Cat Valentine was adorable!!!
Ariana's squirt gun scene in Victorious was wild AF on Dan Schneider's part, but I'm grateful for it lol
Daniella looks so petite there, they are all fab girls! xxxx
all look so good
Erin is so fucking sexy.
Each one is gorgeous. 😍🔥
For context, she’s an actress who worked both Disney + Nickelodeon, best known as Trina on Victorious.
The campaigning is sure as hell not get her on now
It used to be Deena hated when people campaigned and would generally not cast them but now that it’s so popular she doesn’t care anymore hence why she casted Alix Earle, Whitney leavitt, and Jen affleck - all of whom campaigned a lot to be on it.
She fits the demographic of the show but probably not this season bc they already have 3 younger women in entertainment but maybe in the future
She would do so well on it! She has a lot of personality
chicagooo chicagoooooo
I would love her lmao
Omg I need a Broadway night where she does a Chicago number
I want her over Alix Earle
She'd be a solid get, she's not too popular but still a face people might recognize. She's the right amount of celeb for this show. She's the only Victorious cast member I follow, too.
Absolutely! I feel like this season, too many big influencer names (so far) that may work against her so maybe another season
Who is that girl and boy in the bottom front row supposed to be in the show?
The boy is Ian, the guy that Tori was supposed to finish her school project for school with (but Trina pushed him out the door of course) when she still was at Sherwood before she transferred schools to Hollywood Arts.
trina’s friend that she ran off with when tori walked into hollywood arts. probably just an extra cus trina didn’t have many friends lol
That was Trina's friend?
Yeah, she was the girl that interrupted her and Tori’s conversation about Hollywood Arts being “just a high school” and Tori being “normal”, and told Trina that a guy got his hair straightened and then they both fangirled over it and left Tori alone to navigate the school by herself
We never saw Trina’s friend or that guy ever again huh
Well it makes sense that we never saw that guy since he went to Tori's old school.
That was the most weird part. Anybody being friends with Trina haha
I honestly forgot about those two people.
In most tv shows, they always show pilots with characters you never see again
Fun Fact: The guy who worked with Tori in the science project was played by Ellington Ratliff, who years later was a member of R5, the band Ross Lynch had with his siblings, and, if I remember correctly, Ratliff was in a relationship with Ross' sister, Rydel.
Wow beck and Jade look a little different than I remember
Wow! I wouldn’t even think Cat and Ariana were the same person anymore!
Among the iCarly characters, Gibby is the only one I can imagine fitting in and hanging out with the Victorious group lol
i will never forget how noah munck in one season of icarly just shot up to 6 foot and looked like a responsible adult instead of his usual foolish character
Older Gibby will always be Goated in my eyes 😂
I love how Liz is always posing fiercely. She's Jade even when she takes pictures😅.
