Have WAW-Ghosts on PS3 but MW2019-MWIII on Xbox

I bought a Playstation 5 slim as my first Playstation console, and also the MW3 disk, was hugely dissapointed to find out that in order to play MP and Zombies you needed to pay the Plus fee. Why would you have to pay on top of a 500€ console and a 70€ game extra in order to play? I mean even the name of the product is "Plus" which means you can get more out of it, but SHOULDNT be a requirement, you should be able to choose, freely if you want to pay for the extra content or not, things have gone to hell in Gaming Lately: imposition of a membership fee for consoles, no availibility of physical copies of games for PC which means you have to buy digitally and if you dont like it you are stuck with it forever, and if you try to sell your account you get banned. Miss the old times.

Playstation has been my main platform for COD since BLOPS3, because of the largest playerbase.

Crossplay somewhat diminished the importance of that, but sometimes I want to turn off crossplay and it matters.

I play a fair bit on Xbox as well, with PC the least.

Bro I don’t even play new cods on pc anymore, people automatically think I’m a cheater. I now play on ps with a plugged in keyboard and mouse for new cods

you need gamepass core or ps plus essential to play online for ps3,4,5 and xbox360,1,x,s. 

Mobile and PC (battle.net, Steam) don’t require anything else but a free Activision account

Wii and DS didn’t require anything but their services have been discontinued

Because the game is not playable on Mouse and Keyboard, you dont stand a chanse against that aimassist/aimbot.

Lots of friend quit this game because of the unfair gaming experience against controllers.

Is there controller support for Windows store?

Not worth buying until it gets added to game pass since I don’t think they have cross play with the steam version

Wait so it's not the steam servers? Lmao I remember they did the same stupid thing with Infinite Warfare and MWR where it was also sold on the windows store and steam and wasn't cross play.

This is such a odd move tbh. I could understand if it was cross play with Xbox one servers but it's not either.

I just hope that Black Ops II and World at War gets released soon, alongside Modern Warfare 3 and 2, they're my favorite games

I play my xbox one when I want to play modern games (eg. Cold War) and I play my playstation 3 when I want to play old games (eg. Modern Warfare 2)

Black ops and MW are the same thing they both have a multiplayer where you play in teams against other players. There’s different games modes like domination, hard point, team death match etc.. black ops is known for there other gamemode where you play against zombies. MW has other modes that you can play as well that aren’t zombies but more “realistic”. Warzone is an addition to MW(it’s also in black ops 4 called black out) this gamemode is where you and your team(or solo) drop into one big map with a whole lot of other players and the objective is to be the last one standing.

I think starting out with black ops is bettwr cause you have zomvies to play as well IMO.

The black ops are more geared towards the zombie game mode while war zone is something like Fortnite where it’s a battle royal against other people and I have no idea about modern warfare

black ops and modern warfare is that “normal cod” you hear ppl talk abt with team death match, capture the flag, and hold the point stuff like that. Those cost money. Warzone is free to play and is a battle Royale shorter like fortnite except it’s in first person.

The names are an indication of the times they take place in.

Modern Warfare is just a series based on a specific storyline, all those games have campaigns and multiplayer.

Black Ops is similliar, although (mostly) rooted in a different era. Black Ops is also known for the Zombies mode.

If it's about online activity, I'd recommend Black Ops 6 for PS4 as it's the latest game out there.

PlayStation is integrating with Discord in the coming months, check if PS4 will be getting it too, or if they have plans to upgrade bc tbh idk how well a PS4 will handle the game.

Get it on PC. It’ll be a while probably November but Discord is coming to PlayStation just like it did for Xbox. They can use discord to talk to you.

i would get it on PC

1. discord will be coming to console (dont know if Ps4 aswell but would be dumb if not)
2. theres a workaround to use ps4 voice chat on PC. your PS4 needs to be turned on and you use remote play on PC, that way you can join PS4 chat parties
3. youll get better FPS and a smoother experience in general. i wouldnt bet on the next gen cod running smoothly at all places on literal 10 year old hardware

I'd go for PC since you say you've got a pretty good one. You could find alternative ways to communicate with your friends while playing. Besides PS is getting full Discord integration soon.
