I like the posts, always like seeing people’s bags. The guess my handicap isn’t as fun, but sometimes it makes sense when you see certain clubs built a certain way or taped up, etc.
You came on r/golfgear to complain about people posting their golf gear for comments?
This comment wins ^. Made my day!
I'll never understand people who hate on what makes others happy. So easy to keep scrolling, but he just has to voice his opinion because we all need to hear it

It's just a way for people to post their bags and new clubs. It's not really that deep
You jealous?
there’s a few blacksmiths coming to the RenFaire this fall, I think they’re Red Fox Forge and The Highland Forge? my aunt bought a small hatchet from Red Fox a few years ago, so definitely check both of them!
Oct 11-12 Murillo, ty, will check it ouy
Fablewood Homestead restores old axes and other hands tools. They're out in Nolalu and do great work. They have a FB page.
Came here to say this. Amazing work, even better people
There’s a few in the area, just keep in mind a lot of them mostly do decorative pieces. I’m sure they would take a commission for an axe, just make sure they have experience making tools so you don’t end up with something with poor metallurgy or a less than ideal head profile. If you can’t find anything, gransfors makes a carving axe that’s amazing. They have some other nice profiles for larger work too, along with adzes and froes, hard to go wrong with them.
Red Fox was the first that came to mind. I remember them featured in the walleye a few years ago.
Best boobs too
Another example: 8/21/1883 Rochester F5 tornado → Saint Marys Hospital (1889) → Mayo Clinic.
A Tornado brought a tech store? Cool!
Best Buy's own corporate website, an article from 9 years ago: 35 Years Ago Today, A Tornado Transformed Best Buy
As a local, I have always known it as the 1981 Har Mar tornado
Tornado clearance sales are a time-honored tradition in Minnesota.
this is some awesome tornado trivia thank you
If I got a nickel every time a Minnesota tornado led to the creation of a widely known business, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
what's the other
Mayo Clinic. The Mayo brothers had a small clinic in Rochester, but after an 1883 tornado they spearheaded an effort to build a proper hospital in the city.
Bhai genz offers kaha se dekh rhe ho. Muhje flipkart pr mil hi nhi rha h

Ya bro lot of things to consider
Did you asked offline stores ?
I'm getting the victus one 🙃
Why victus??
So I know this is probably a weird question to ask here, but I'm trying to find a reputable place to buy Google reviews for my small business. Before anyone jumps down my throat - yes, I know it's technically against Google's terms of service, and yes, I understand the risks. But hear me out.
I run a small auto repair shop that my dad started 30 years ago. We do honest work, fair prices, and have loyal customers who've been coming to us for decades. The problem? None of them leave reviews. I've asked politely, sent follow-up emails, even offered small discounts for honest feedback. Nothing. Meanwhile, the big chain shop down the street has 200+ reviews (half of which seem suspiciously similar) and they're crushing us in local search results.
Last month I had a customer tell me they almost didn't come to us because we "only" had 12 reviews compared to our competitors. That hurt, especially since I know we do better work. The Google algorithm basically makes you invisible if you don't have enough reviews, and it's killing small businesses like mine.
I've been researching for weeks now, and every site I find looks sketchy as hell. Half of them want Bitcoin only (red flag), others promise 100 reviews overnight (yeah right), and some have websites that look like they were made in 1995. I'm not looking to buy hundreds of fake 5-star reviews - I just need maybe 20-30 realistic ones spread over a few months to level the playing field. Mix of 4 and 5 stars, from aged accounts with profile pictures, written by actual humans not bots.
Has anyone here actually used a service that worked? I'm talking about reviews that stick, don't get flagged, and actually help with local SEO rankings. I've heard nightmare stories about businesses getting blacklisted or all their reviews disappearing overnight. Some people mentioned services that use "real" reviewers with established Google accounts, but I can't tell what's legit anymore.
Budget isn't really an issue if it works - I'd rather pay more for quality than get burned with cheap bot reviews that Google deletes in a week. I'm looking at this as a marketing investment. The cost of staying invisible on Google Maps is way higher than whatever these services charge.
If you've been in a similar situation or know someone who has, I'd really appreciate any recommendations or warnings about specific sites to avoid. Feel free to DM if you don't want to post publicly. And please, spare me the lectures about ethics - I'm just trying to keep my family business alive in a game where everyone else is already cheating.
Fake review afect any business
The fact that a 30-year-old family business has to consider buying fake reviews just to compete is everything wrong with modern capitalism
Just make fake accounts yourself. Use different devices, different email addresses, spread them out over time. Free and you control the quality
I feel like this thread is just free advertising for shady review sellers lurking right now lol.
- no comprar monitores samsung - xioami - master g - etc.
There I fix it.
Low stock on everything, no way to call, and no PC parts. So happy we have ReCompute. This is my PSA to shop local BZN.
That spot will make a great Spirit Halloween location next year!
lol i loved it when spirit took over that spot in the year between bed bath and beyond and best buy
I hate having to answer 20 questions when I walk into the store.
just gotta pull the Swanson...
Yep. I went in there for the first time recently, and all 3 employees ignored me completely. They give zero fucks there.
dude I had the opposite they wouldnt leave me alone, so annoying
It feels like they wanted more online order distribution. So built the smallest store format to accommodate some showrooming but mainly to decrease shipping for online.
It used to be bedbath and beyond. Its an older already built building.
I've had a few good experiences there... Starlink has been in stock the few times I've needed to get one, I bought new RAM there a couple weeks ago and at the time they seemed to have CPUs, GPUs, Motherboards, Internal SSDs and power supplies all in stock. I need a new computer mouse, they'll probably be my first and only stop.
As the title says, I got this crazy Excellent condition monitor from Best Buy. No scratches, Burn ins or anything wrong. It even had all the parts still in the factory bags. I feel like I got the deal of a lifetime.
So... you put this on clearance and then bought it... mind hooking me up to then ??
Bro put in open box discount, a clearance discount, AND an employee discount for the 4 year warranty 😂
Hook us up homie 😆
Actually I didn’t 😂. It’s on clearance b/c we don’t sell that model anymore because it’s the 2023 model so they all go on clearance and then someone returned it so it was openbox. The only thing I got was the discounted protection plan
I've seen these Start to pop up like those open box new Costco pcs
This shite matte coating ruining this and 95GS for me. Ordered Samsung G61SD. But for 200$ this is literally steal jesus...
That's absolutely insane, that monitor is literally $1000 where I live.
I paid $1000 for the Asus version of this on release, I fucking love it but seeing that price hurts my wallet.
And an employee discount
My son broke his Nintendo Switch OLED Zelda Joycon. Had it replaced by Total Tech. Received replacement and the left joy con was missing all the screws. Went back to Bestbuy to replace the replacement they opened a new ticket. Now Partstore won't replace it and want me to go back to the store to open a new ticket.
Welcome to BestBuy customer service. They’re only there to sell the cheese.
Thanks for your report. It will surely be noted
Ok
Yeah I would say thats about par for the course
Update: Phone call I had an excellent helpful rep but he couldn’t do anything about having to visit store he made notes on the account. Sent email to the Partstore extension of Best Buy they saw the notes from phone rep. They asked for more information. But looks like they did an overwrite on the case.
