Belly and Conrad's Tension
One of the standout scenes is Belly wanting to kiss Conrad in the surf, which was highlighted for its emotional intensity. The tension between them, combined with the setting and music, created a memorable moment that resonated with viewers [1:2]
[1:3]. This scene captures the essence of their complicated relationship and the underlying emotions that drive the narrative.
Conrad's Intimate Moments
The series often emphasizes intimate moments between characters, particularly Belly and Conrad. In one episode, Conrad’s simple act of wiping peach juice off Belly's face was described as incredibly intimate, showcasing the depth of their connection despite the complexities surrounding them [2:1]
[2:2]. These small gestures are pivotal in illustrating the evolving dynamics between the characters.
Emotional Confrontations
Another significant scene involves Laurel confronting Conrad about his happiness, speaking on behalf of the audience's concerns for his well-being [1:6]. Such confrontations are crucial in driving character development and addressing underlying issues that have been building throughout the series.
Character Growth and Reflection
Belly's growth and self-reflection during a car ride with Conrad stands out as a key moment in her character arc. It highlights her maturity and the emotional journey she undergoes, offering insights into her relationships and personal struggles [2:5]. This scene is indicative of the series' focus on personal growth amidst romantic entanglements.
Mocking and Misunderstanding
Scenes where characters mock or misunderstand each other, such as Conrad being mocked at the pool, add layers to the narrative by showcasing conflicts and misunderstandings [4:4]. These moments are essential in exploring themes of identity, belonging, and the complexity of interpersonal relationships.

Bellys inner voice is back
Memories are incorrect confirmed
Belly wanting to kiss him in the surf scene. That was all her
Welcome back Taylor swift. You've been quiet
Where is that person who said we only get Taylor when she’s listening to her heart I want to kiss them
I’m glad we all melted down together. The tension, the song, the angles, HIS WET HAIR ON HER SHEER TOP.
I was lying down in bed the whole episode and I sat up so fast when Belly came back to Cousins and Conrad was holding his surfboard outside
“What about you, Conrad? When do you get to be happy?”
LAUREL SPEAKING FOR ALL OF US HERE.
literally saw this on insta the other day and saved it bc it made me think of conrad 😭
OMG WHAT IF LAUREL IS THE ONE TO TELL BELLY THAT CONRAD CONVINCED HER
Laurel bugs though, she has such a know-it-all demeanor, yet she is clueless when it comes to picking up on cues from Conrad. Missed that he knew about his mom, missed that he knew about the affair, missed that he's madly in love with her daughter.
I was just peeking during whole scene like 🫣
I was screaming at my computer for them to kiss, I actually got mad when they didn’t. PLEAAASEEEEE
I haven't read the books but I just KNEW he'd have terrible financial senses. Somehow Conrad grew out of that rich boy mentality while Jeremiah never did.
i paused it and went upstairs to quote what he said to my boyfriend because i found it so absurd 🤣
The much anticipated Conrad POV episode is finally here!

I did not read the books, but this scene felt so intimate and a such private moment, like I felt wrong watching it. But also #Bonrad cause why is this little act showed so much more intimacy than any of her scenes with Jere. All hail the new rom-com king - Chris Briney 🔥
True. In the books the peach scene is belly POV and she describes it the same. "It's the most intimate thing anyone has done for me" 🥰🥰🥰
I got awkward just like Conrad did the minute he walked in! Can you please go back we were actually having fun.
it was like when susannah saw adam walk through that door in season one-the 4th of July episode too-disappointed.
I fear Belly has had more self reflection and growth in this car ride with Conrad than she has for the last 4 years
this scene was giving pride and prejudice mr darcy!
conrad giving belly advice on how to manage her budget with the flowers while jeremiah requesting for the most elaborate cake is so telling of the differences in maturity
Jeremiah is financially irresponsible and relies heavily on his fathers money. Belly needs someone who is gonna lead her not just support her. Jeremiah can't even lead himself thru debt how will he lead Belly thru life?
Same but is it just me or is that a delulu way to each a peach as a human adult??
Like those fruit juices are FLOWING down her face and she gives zero f*cks.
Is this just necessary to set up the shirt wiping moment? Or is this normal peach eating behavior & ive just been eating the fruit like a prude my whole life???
i was counting down the minutes till jeremy shows up to third wheel in what was the best day of bellys life since probably that last night with Conrad years ago
They don't real talk about anything. They ignore real problems like money, the infidelity, conrad, belly's feelings about laurel, and as shown in this episode, too: Kayleigh. Anything that's serious, belly won't bring up to Jeremiah. Meanwhile, in just one episode, belly breaks down in front of conrad and they talk about mental health, stress, money, ect.
That was from the book and I remember laughing when I read it but somehow Chris Britney’s voice just made it so sad.
its just so refreshing seeing characters be healthy and talk things through
And they immediately comforted Rumi also. No drama no yelling, just comfort.
I appreciate this scene
I like it too because this is one of my favorite parts:
Same that seen just felt good to watch
except that it wasnt because rumi was never sincere with them?
I loved it too! And honestly, I headcanon that Mira and Zoey lowkey planned that out - they clearly knew something was wrong/up with Rumi and that she refused to tell them about it. Confronting her directly obviously wasn't working. So they sat down, shared their own emotions, and hoped that she would reciprocate. Unfortunately it didn't work.

Conrad is staying because he saw her crying. Nobody talk to me.
i dont understand what conrad sees in her anymore because all of her likeability is gone
Honestly, the only person who can really explain why he likes her is Conrad sometimes it just boils down to I like the way they smile or I like the way they make me feel when we’re around each other. Hopefully at some point they’ll address that.
Them mocking Conrad on the pool literally pmo so much. I was praying for Conrad to leave and never come back 😭😭
I'm assuming they are making us dislike her for a reason. She will end up going to Paris, do a little growing up and then will be ready for Conrad... at least I freaking hope so cause giiirrrrrl what are you doing.
In the book, she ends up with concord after calling off the wedding and being by herself for awhile so that’s most likely the way the show will end.
Right?? I know this was before her time, but didnt she learn from LC? Always choose Paris!!
exactly, i didnt hate her before but i hate her now for sure. there are so many things that are just wrong and I say that from a young adult pov
giving up paris to spend more time with her then "husband"
marrying the guy who cheated on her TWICE.
not understanding that conrad couldn't be happy then cause his mother was dying and then passed.
cant f*cking decide which brother to choose
mocking conrad in the swimming pool for pointing out facts, and questioning WHY IS HE IN HIS OWN MOTHER'S HOUSE?
Being a b*tch to her mother. my mother would have whooped my a*s, if i told her i got engaged at 21 but surely for shouting at her that way.
made the whole funeral abt herself, it is just like pick me energy during that.
But could we talk about the fact that Belly is really upset by the fact Conrad don't to be his brother best man at the wedding with the girl he still loves...
Belly is really annoying especially in this past episode.. I mean I don't understand if she is really over Conrad, i don't think so but she is pretending so well
I hope Conrad will open up and tells Belly he still loves her... I mean we know Susannah wanted Conrad to be the one for Belly.
why is she doing this. i cant fathom her character she is so unlikeable this season
The OC would like a word (at least the first two seasons).
Wait… Dawson’s Creek was good?
As long as it ends the same way. The girl everyone wants rejects the guy who is dangerously obsessed, instead choosing the one who within ten years will be found face down in a Motel 6 off I-70 next to a night table covered in drug paraphernalia.
Mmmmm whatcha say?
I can’t wait for this show to be over. Tired of listening to my daughter scream and cry. Well written so kudos to the author and show writers but FFS, give me peace
Does anyone know of a good place to discuss TSITP TV show that came out today? Or maybe we can discuss it here?
I would love to discuss the show and some of the good and bad changes they made from the book
My favourite change to the book was adding in storylines for many of the side characters. I loved seeing more of Laurel and Susannah, Laurel navigating the dating world post-divorce, and even the whole debutante thing worked quite well. I was also a little skeptical of having Taylor in it a lot more, but it made sense to have her at Cousins during this summer and not just in the flashbacks. Plus, I think she was a lot more likeable!
My least favourite change (although I kind of understand why they did it), was how Belly was consistently going back and forth between the brothers and the love triangle was very prevalent. I feel like in the book (the first one, which this season was based off of), she really only has eyes for Conrad and doesn't go back and forth between them. Even when Jeremiah announced that he likes he, she still only has eyes for Conrad. I just feel like it showed more respect all around? Spoiler for the rear of the series: >!In the books, it felt like Belly didn't want to have both of them at the same time and had her own separate 'phases with both C&J. I also felt like the boys also more or less understood that boundary/had the same respected for each other (at least until the end of book 3 when Conrad announces his feelings to Belly the night before B&J's wedding when he found out about Jeremiah cheating) !<
Also, spoiler for the second book, >!I didn't love that the infinity necklace came up so early. I really liked how Belly found it in the second book and then decided to keep it/wear it when they were looking for wherever Conrad ran off to!<
Thanks for sharing this. I found it really *unethical* and strange for Belly to do that back-and-forth between Conrad and Jeremiah in Season 1. It was just wrong, I thought. Also, because Conrad had made some move, he had given the impression that he liked her, so she could've held back from Jeremiah, instead of rushing into him at the first opportunity. Even though they tried to show that she's kind of exasperated and quick to make decisions, I thought this was a bit too easy on the emotions: i.e., not considering her own and others' emotions at all, and just jumping from boy to boy too easily.
Also, don't the boys have *friends* other than Belly and Steven?! Like, in school? Belly has Taylor, and Steven seems pretty well adjusted among his peers. But the Fisher boys seem overly dependent on the Conklin siblings . . . Weird.
I read the books ages ago so had to reread the synopses cause the details were fuzzy. The younger me would probably have disagreed, but older me is loving this adaptation. Cringe and all. Cause tbh we were all pretty cringe as teens even when we thought we weren't. I'm sure my past self would have hated the way Belly was flitting between the boys. But I was kinda here for Belly's hot girl summer and summer of self-discovery. Also jogging my memory I never really loved the Jerimiah character assassination in the books. I find my self with the series being team Neutral/ team exploration. Cause i've been the one having the crush on someone for the better part of a decade, where they kinda reciprocate but don't it's hella confusing but you still care for them and want to move so I feel for Belly as a 16 year old character. I did like however how much they made both brother empathetic even when they had there annoying moments but that's adolescence for you. I'm not team so I'm just here for the ride. They mahy have a second season right?
My exact thoughts on Taylor! I'm really pleased with how likable they made her compared to the books. Thank you jenny han😂
This comment!!! Totally agree. I've read the books, and could never get behind Team Conrad. Too much whiplash from Conrad's mood swings. I'll always be Team Jeremiah.
Just watched it. It's really cute and the soundtrack is fun.
I don't think I can continue because >!I prefer Jeremiah over Conrad and the author basically does a character assassination in the 3rd book to get Conrad and Belly together. URGH. I never agree with any of Jenny Han's ships. John > Peter. !<
This! This will forever bother me. I was so team Jeremiah even though I read the books like 8 years ago.
just finished the whole thing, am crying and i came onto reddit to look for exactly this 😭
Y’all downvoted my original comment so I’m going to copy paste here.
The show is cringy af… ughhhhh the acting is so bad. Everyone is so stiff and awkward and they have absolutely 0 chemistry. I literally pause it and cringe for 2 minutes and force myself to continue. I’ve only seen the first episode but I’m disappointed.
First of all the casting director needs to be FIREDDSD immediately because of how badly she/he did their job.
Jeremiah and Conrad were NOT supposed to look alike. I remember reading the books and Jeremiah was a brunette and Conrad was a dirty blonde. Conrad was supposed to have dark features and they brought young Leo DiCaprio.. come on🙄
Oh Jeremiah.… where do I start? the Jeremiah in the show looks like a TikToker that does thirst traps and dances in front of a camera.
Steven and the moms look like how they were supposed to look like I guess🙄
Belly doesn’t look like how she’s supposed to look like either. I mean come on she’s the main character, why did they not do a better job at finding someone that actually looks like the character in the book. Plus her acting is CRINGYYYYY. Like girl stop acting like Debby Ryan smh🤦🏻♀️ so disappointed
They could have made such a better show. Too bad the AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL acting and the cast ruined it.
Edit: y’all can downvote my comment all you want but the truth is that this show is TRASH :)
For me it was just a little less than trash but obviously cringey with a weird story and unlikeable mc. The acting was shitty even my school play team can act better and i agree with u on the casting part. I'm so confused about Belly's character. I somehow liked steven and conrad. And the girl who plays belly was seriously a disappointment the way she can't deliver a single dialogue without laughing awkwardly it's so cringe. I didn't like the story either. They're all a bunch of players. I feel bad for cam and susannah. The >!cancer revelation!< was the only part where I could resonate with the emotion.
Also the soundtrack. It was so basic they didn't even put in any efforts and used the most famous song with lyrics that literally describe the situation and sometimes it seemed so so off eww. Specially that scene where she wears Taylor's dress and goes to the beach and "up" starts playing 🤢 and also the one where she breaks up with cam "feeling this bad never felt so great" starts playing which was way too literal for me to digest for the scene. CRINGE IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE is what I'd describe the show as. I love Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo but the show did my girls injustice by playing their songs in this show
So, hear me out. She could still put the necklace on in season two without stealing it from Conrad's dorm room. Remember that he tried to give it to her on the dock, but she didn't take it. It gives the necklace a lot more significance if she puts it on after finding it again in his dorm room, and honestly would make the argument they have make a lot more sense when Conrad comments on her wearing it - thus sending mixed messages. It always rubbed me the wrong way in the books when she put it on without actually knowing if it was really for her. This way, when she puts it on she knows it's hers and when Conrad sees her wearing it, it would affect him.
I really loved how they captured the sensitivity of both boys. Their interactions with Susanna were really heartbreaking.
After finishing the series I've been thinking about which was my favourite moment or scene, and I think I'm between two.
When Ryan finally tells Taylor that he loves her while she pretends to be asleep or when Ryan tells Kirsten during the intermission that he doesn't want something bad to happen again to someone he loves.
I heart season 4 Taylor so much.
Same. Double T carried that season
Seeing Ryan going from ready-to-murder to this. That’s what S4 was about 🙏
Losing Marissa broke my heart, but honestly I desperately needed the lightheartedness, comedic gem, and the wholesomeness that is S4 to recover from the stress/anxiety-inducing relationship that is Ryan and Marissa. ❤️🩹
That scene in season 1 between Sandy and Ryan: “So how was home?” “What do you mean? I was in Chino, I just got home” I’m paraphrasing but I thought this was such a sweet scene!
“You tell me” so wholesome 💜
Or the "sorry it didn't worked out with your dad" "My dad is right here"
He needed someone like Taylor. I get he loved Marisa and by the end she was truly his BFF. A lot of love. But Taylor was funny and not so tragic. Don’t get me wrong I love Marisa.
yeah I always viewed Marissa and Ryan as star crossed-once in a life time-kind of love. But Taylor was healthier. I wouldn't mind if they got married.
They didn’t and ended up separated. Josh said so
The best time of Ryan’s life was with Taylor. No drama, No BS !
Very important to note.

I convinced myself they wouldn’t put this even though it was in the books. Adam HAD to know they were together RIGHT?! In the books they weren’t official I don’t think but Conrad literally calls belly his girlfriend. Everyone knew EXCEPT ADAM. This man is literal trash
I think the point of keeping that was to show how just of a negligent father Adam is — even though Conrad is his favourite (for the “on paper” reasons), he doesn’t actually care about Conrad’s wants and needs and interests. Whereas Susannah was far too invested…
I didn't read the books. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he was probably just calling Belly Conrad's sis in order to help him move on and see her differently but that man is trash so probably not.
Not Conrad choosing the cheapest entree. I can’t. I let out a squeak and cry. Oh my goodness this boy. I love him too much.
belly being icked out by adam and jeremiah ordering the $$$ surf and turf, followed by conrad ordering the cheapest entree iktr
It's the little things like attentiveness and thoughtful consideration that make Conrad so amazing. He is so in-tune with her needs.
Where did you guys watch episode three season three mine is not out on my illegal website (look2movies.to)😭😭
Note she didn’t tell Annika about the engagement or she would have gotten a real answer
Ummmmmm them all just leaving and Conrad walking out alone!? What!? My man you were right, you are better in California. That was brutal.
“Are you secretly judging for me getting back together with him”
“I think you care too much about what other people think. I trust you to make the best decision for you”
Uh, Belly, as someone older and wiser - that’s called dodging the question and it’s a big fat YES.
Where did you guys watch episode three season three mine is not out on my illegal website (look2movies.to)😭😭
Never read the book ...Conrad nailed it...I loved this bit...because she will never be his little sis...and even if they dated for 6 months it was still more significant to her then the time she had spent with Jeremiah. That's my view as someone who just watches this show..
The weekends are the best because I can finally watch an episode before 10pm lol
I love this episode for the mere fact that it’s at the country club. I love that in this season we’re seeing so many different locations. It expands the world and feels like we’re really there with them. I’m hoping for this in season 3 as well. Each season their little world gets bigger and bigger 🥰
I have a hard time seeing Jeremiah and Belly in a romantic light. I’m also really struggling with the thought of them together for FOUR years bruh. When I read the books I thought two years was already too long 😂 but ultimately I hope they make it believable so I can enjoy watching it.
Favorite moment: Steven and Taylor dancing. It’s so vulnerable. It makes me feel like I should look away. It’s intimate and they’re glowing. I feel like we really see their true selves in this moment. I’m also obsessed with Frank Ocean’s cover of Moon River 😭 Breakfast at Tiffany’s iykyk swoon 🫠 Steven saying “see it’s not so horrible” and Taylor wrapping her arms around him 😩 How Steven gets nervous when Conrad and Jeremiah show up. The look the boys give each other 👀 so good.
Favorite flashback: Susannah apologizing to Jeremiah for the part she played in pushing the three of them together. I love the accountability we get from the adults in this season. Laurel’s is to come. Susannah really seeing Jeremiah is refreshing. I think he hides just as much as Conrad.
Favorite line: “Adventure is worthwhile in itself.” This quote feels bigger than the show. Like it’s hanging over the show kind of protecting it. Trying to explain what the show is.
Honorable mentions: “Susannah say motherfucker!”
“She motherfucking loves it!” 😂😂😂
Skye daring Belly to kiss Jeremiah and EVERYONE else’s face like 🥸
Okay this will be a two parter, part one being reactions, and reacting to your post part two being a brief analysis of the first time I saw her flashback
Oh, I forgot how savage C was with aunt Julia. After such an outburst only Steven follows C, but Belly immediately follows after J. She has truly washed her hands of C.
Cam Cameron to the rescue
If you are aware of that “invisible force” between them, why are you doing this to yourself? Maybe they need to get together, so Jere can get over this, and realize he is actual not that into her…
“Jere, I don’t want you to hate us, but I think about her all the time. And it hurts, like, my chest physically hurts, to not be able to tell her that I’m on love with her.”
I would have loved if Jere had been played softer in this scene, more defeated, and way less aggressive. It would have helped me sympathize with him a lot more. It’s just such a stark contrast to the usually colder C who is softer and more vulnerable in this scene. Especially because Jere is known as the sunny boy, which is supposed to be the softer of the two brothers, him reacting aggressively like that makes him seem like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He pretends to be agreeable but is actually hardened and bitter on the inside. It makes him seem duplicitous. And we know from the books that is not Jere.
Oh, Belly stop it please. It’s a bad idea! Don’t do this to Jere. Let that man breathe. Let that man heal. Let yourself heal. A relationship is the last thing that you need right now.
I like that C and J can have a decent conversation right now, why does Belly have to torpedo this? Let the brothers be together. Let the brothers HEAL together. I know you hurt, and C Hurt you a LOT, but sending him into exile and essentially taking Jere from him, to making Jere your personal healing buddy/sweeping everything under the rug buddy is kind of heartless Bells.
Thanksgiving Adam is wearing his wedding ring, Susannah is not. Ugh, Jere basically putting everything on C or on them, I’m not a fan. If you plan on staying away just do it, don’t make a whole show-and-tell out of it. Or if he needs C to know, because he is praised for being good at communicating his feelings just tell them it’s not on them, but that you still need to take a while to get over it, don’t make them feel guilty for being together. C would never… However, if he still has to say it this way, I once again wished he was portrayed softer, more fragile, a bit devastated and not this aggressive.
We are T-72h (take some or loose some) away from the Jelly’s kiss, which means we are 4 days away from her “choosing” Jere without the shadow of a doubt, but she is still saying she “I think I.. I loved Conrad longer and truer than anyone in my whole life. And I will probably never love anyone like that again. To be honest it is kind of a relief. ‘Cause I don’t know, I don’t know if I could survive that again.” Or let me put it this way we are 30-45 minutes away from Belly asking Jere why he wouldn’t kiss her. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of the way Jere is portrayed in this show/in this season, I like book Jere enough to know he deserves better.
C is busy trying to find ways to save their house. While Belly is busy trying to reclaim her self esteem by targeting Jere, because he is an easy target? Poor kid.
Not one of his flashbacks is his own, they are all centered around them.
Answer to your post
I truly can’t watch them dancing it feels to intimate between the too, I quit literally look away.
Oh, I like the swearing, too.
So we disagree on the time frame because you think it’s too long in the books, didn’t know that. Yeah, I think a big part of it is that they spent most of it in a long distance relationship in which both of them put not a lot of effort. We get one example of a phone conversation between them, and it’s Jeremiah brushing Belly off (she wants to talk about her Taylor friendship break up) to go eat hot wings with his frat brothers). Their romantic LDR was probably not very different from their friendship LDR minimal effort, minimal contact. With the new time line I have a personal head canon of her spending two years at a community college to be financially smart, and I will believe this until proven otherwise (on Wednesday to be exact).
Ahhhhh I love what you said about Jeremiah’s character in the show and how it is so not the Jeremiah we know from the books 😭 I agree that a lot of his scenes would have been received very differently had he reacted in those ways.
Your take on their long distance relationship actually makes a lot of sense!
I even went through a part of the C and J talk and noted down what kind of acting choices I would have loved for this part of the conversations. It was really hard because I had to jump back and forth between book Jeremiah (to imagine what he would do) and show Jere (to note down what he is saying), and I realized that show Jeremiah never replaced book Jeremiah in my head because they are just intrinsically different.
The acting choices also make me wonder a lot. In a drama I watched at the beginning of the year the acting of the female lead would heavily fluctuate. In some scenes she would know it out of the park (acting wise) and in others she took me out of it because she couldn’t get there, it was too obvious that she was acting. I wonder when directors start to give up on the scene and simply accept the mediocre take.
My favourite Belly’s POV is biased reveal is that Con is actually a geek/dork (I know there are more important reveals for their love story, I still love this the best)
>
"I used to collect stamps.'
>That was right. He had collected stamps. I'd forgotten.
>He kept them in a photo album his dad gave him.
>"I totally forgot about that. Holy crap, you were so serious about your stamps. You wouldn't even let us touch your book without permission. Remember how Jeremiah stole one and used it to send a postcard and you were so mad you cried?"
>"Hey, that was my Abraham Lincoln stamp that my grandpa gave me," Conrad said defensively. "That was a rare stamp."
>I laughed, and then he did too. It was a nice sound
>When was the last time we'd laughed like this?
>Shaking his head, he said, "I was such a little geek."
>"No, you weren't!"
>Conrad threw me a look. "Stamp collecting. Chemistry set. Encyclopedia obsession."
>"Yeah, but you made all of that seem cool," I said. In my memory Conrad was no geek. He was older, smarter, interested in grown-up things.
>"You were gullible," he said.
We know that Belly is an unreliable narrator sometimes (like that scene where Conrad took her to the boardwalk because he wanted to, and she thought it was to see that girl), but it struck me during the rewatch that Jeremiah is too. Like, he's so delusional. The moment in the cinema room where he and Belly hold eye contact for an excessive amount of time, and then they do it again when they drink from one can? I doubt it's what really happened. I think they did look at each other, but maybe for like a second or two.
This episode is a perfect example of why I don't like Jeremiah as a character. He just gets so jealous over everything that Conrad has. The look Jeremiah has on his face whenever he sees Conrad and Belly have the tiniest interaction...
But I really loved the scene where Steven and Taylor dance, the light and the song gave it such a chef's kiss atmosphere.
This is probably my least favorite episode. I do really like Conrad having such a vulnerable moment with Jeremiah, and I thought it was sweet seeing how Jeremiah was with Susannah. In present day, my favorite is the Steven/Taylor parts. I also love Cam Cameron being so on edge about the messes 🤣 This episode just doesn’t do it for me. It was something about Jeremiah’s behavior.
I totally get that and respect it. I think I’m just trying to find the tiniest ways to enjoy even the episodes that aren’t my favorite 😂
I love Cam Cameron. David was really good in the new Jurassic World too!
Love staylor dancing tho
My babies 🥹
😂😂😂 please explain
I thoroughly disliked this episode. It was nice to see the club again, but it was such a filler episode!
🚨Warning spoilers for TSITP season 1 🚨
Hi so I’m watching TSITP for the first time and I realized they basically stole the Damon and Elena scene from the miss mystic falls pageant. When Stefan is nowhere to be found and Damon steps in and dances with Elena. They literally just did the same thing with Jeremiah missing and Conrad stepping in and dancing with Belly. Is this a common trope that I wasn’t aware of haha?
I read this as “the summer I turned PETTY” and was truly curious for a moment. Darn
I don’t think it’s them directly taking it from TVD because I’ve seen other movies and tv shows that have had this situation happen where one person isn’t there, the other one steps in, etc. but I can see where your coming from. Alot of shows copy off of others though.
Also one of the guy is the actor that played young Damon Salvatore
Him taking notes on the set of VD
🤣😂🥴
Yeah Jeremiah, I forgot about that omg😂
Ahaha yeah
the book was published in 2009 (couldn't find the exact date) but i imagine the scene was also in the Vampire Diaries books so who knows if she was inspired by it <3 i just watched the first two episodes and thought the same thing on the recap!
The debutante ball thing wasn't in TSITP books though, they added that into the show. I also found that a bit similar, I wouldn't necessarily use the word "stole" but inspired is definitely possible!
ah thank you, i read it so long ago and couldn't remember <3
Stole? Mhh ok
