TL;DR
Online Platforms for Laptop Deals
Several online platforms are recommended for finding laptop deals. Websites like laptopsdeals.net offer a range of laptop deals and can be a good starting point [1:1]. Amazon is frequently mentioned as a reliable source for deals, especially for those based in Dubai
[2:1]
[3:2]. Additionally, checking out specific marketplaces such as Meena Bazaar in Dubai could yield better rates than some online deals
[3:1].
Timing for Deals
The timing of your purchase can significantly affect the price you pay for a laptop. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are popular times for discounts and offers [4:1]
[4:4]. Other times to consider include Memorial Weekend, Back-to-School sales, and periods when new models are released, as older models may go on sale
[4:3].
Local Market Shopping
For those in Dubai or similar regions, visiting local markets such as Naif Deira or Fahidi can provide better prices compared to online shopping [5:1]. These markets often have prices that are comparable to US versions, offering significant savings over mall and online store prices.
Specific Recommendations
If you're considering specific models like the Dell XPS 17 but find them outside your budget, looking at alternatives such as the LG Gram might be worthwhile [1:2]. It's also beneficial to keep an eye on seasonal offers or bundles that might be available during promotional periods.
Is there a best place or website for laptop deals? In a month I will be looking to get a new laptop. I'd like to get the Dell XPS 17, but it's a little more than I am looking to spend. I was looking around $1600 worth, but I don't see any Dell XPS's for that range. If I can't find one on a special somewhere I guess I will go for the LG Gram. Consumer Reports rates that the top laptop but I have seen the Dell as #1 (for the money) on other sites. I have had my current Dell Inspirion for over 10 years and I don't upgrade often so I like to get the most for the money I can when I do.
Hello, the best site where you can get laptop deals is laptopsdeals.net. However, if you want an overview of a laptop or help to find one you can PM me and I'd be glad to help.
Thanks. I know what I would LIKE (Dell XPS 17), I just dont think I will find it anywhere for less than$1800. If not I will get an LG Gram for around $1600.
Is there any website that shows the best laptop deals in dubai. Basically something like gaminglaptops.deals but for dubai
Amazon rn!
Hey, I’m thinking of buying a laptop online and I’m based in Dubai—do you happen to know any reliable sites or stores that usually have great deals or discounts? I’m looking for something with good value and maybe a few seasonal offers or bundles thrown in if possible.

When’s the best time to search for offers or discounts for gaming laptops on Amazon or other stores like Walmart or Best Buy? Any tips?

Usually Memorial Weekend, Back to school sales and Black Friday-Cyber Monday.
Cyber monday
Black Friday and Cyber Monday like others said. I personally got the best deal at Best Buy in April last year on my 2023 Zephyrus G14 right before or during the release of the 2024 models. It seem like deals also come when the new models release so keep that in mind.
title.
ima be honest with u go to naif deira or fahidi rather then buy online much better prices cuz they r like usa version i paid 5k for macbook pro while mall and online stores prices were like 6-7k
THIS
On the street corner. Ask for Rickety Cricket
usually ecom sites like Amazon, Newegg, or Best Buy have better deals, especially during sales. brand sites sometimes have student discounts or bundles, but if u just want the cheapest price, comparison sites or big retailers are usually better.
Hi I'm looking to buy 2 laptops (maybe 3), and I've been looking around and finding excellent prices. I am no expert at finding out laptop prices but I usually make comparisons and find out for myself. I wish to know what sites do you check regularly in order to find the best prices and discounts. I usually go on ebay, best buy and newegg, plus I check the big manufacturers online stores and outlets. I'm looking to buy cheap laptops as I'm not planning to use them for gaming or anything alike. My optimal price range would be $200-$300, maybe less or a little more if it is a good bargain. I prefer them to be new and not refurbished (unless its a very nice deal). Any suggestion on webistes that are a must to look from time to time? Also what are the best budget laptops currently on the market according to your criteria? Thanks in advance for any help!
Slickdeals. Search their historic deals and see if pricing matches best historic pricing. If not then it’s not a deal.
Sub $300 wise you’re looking at 6th gen workstations refurb, 8th gen refurb or 11th Gen i3. Which one to pick comes down to personal preferences and requirements.
Go for the Acer Aspire 5 A515-56-32DK Slim Laptop as it will be able to do what you need for a fair price. It is a best selling laptop because of its low price and decent specs for light use. This laptop is for people on a budget or those who want a basic laptop for browsing, streaming, and working on a few documents. Laptops at this price range do not have anything special about their build quality but if you treat it well, it should be able to last you a few years without it breaking

I will check that out! thanks for the repply
eBay in North America has a good Acer Refurbished site. An Aspire 5 or Swift 3 would be good.
There is a Dell Outlet on big Dell site & has good prices. Something like Dell Inspiron 15 3000 with an i5 would be good.
Need to spend about $499 for new. Lenovo IdeaPad 3 with AMD processor is a good buy.
Edited
A new laptop at that price range is almost guaranteed fro be flimsy, and many are slow. Much better off getting a second-hand business laptop on eBay like Thinkpad, Latitude, or Elitebook in a sufficiently new model (Intel 8th Gen and after)
I follow r/LaptopDeals
I used to use noteb.com but idk how active u/Starchaser is at keeping it up to date these days. I know they started posting YouTube videos too.
My favorite laptops in this price range are refurbs. The ThinkPad T480s and Latitude 7390. these have 8th gen quad cores and decent IPS displays. Or the HP ProBook 445 G7 with ryzen 4500U, this one has a strong CPU and iGPU, but can come with some crap displays if you're not careful.
Need a new one but I can def wait. Never shopped on Black Friday but I was curious if the deals are really that much better? Thanks!
Quite good. If RTX 50 series is coming out next year, they might want to clear stock.
Last year they were the best prices of the year, BUT after black friday we often saw many of the same deals come up again in Nov/Dec. That said, some of the low points were not hit again until further into 2024, it varies a bit.
Last year was kind of hectic for the https://gaminglaptop.deals site, we basically spent a week just managing it. It's going to be even worse this year now that we recently added deals for India, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia in addition to United States 😱
Omg tysm for adding India!!! I really needed this as I'm going to buy a laptop this year.
no problem, enjoy!
Visited the site today and was pleasantly surprised to see all the new locations and then India there. Although, I'm curious. How did you guys decide on the countries?
If you want to trust anyone about laptop deals trust this guy⬆️
I got my legion pro 7i 4080 for, after discounts and Rakuten cash back, about $1600. So pretty good in my opinion!
Honestly, last year was the first year I was really focused on gaming laptops during the holiday season and I was really surprised at how good the prices were. Seriously impressed. The interesting thing is this.... you really need to know what you want and what the going prices are at the time. I say this because you will see an early deal and jump on it and buy it, then see something else you really hadn't looked for, but it also came out at a great price and was just a $100 more. Now you're into the FOMO and buyer's remorse club. I think the best deals came out about a week or two before BF and still some others started a week after. But there were still really good deals all over the place. There were just a ton of options (at least here in the US) in the $1,000 range (+/- $100).
I got mine after the peak holiday sales but before January ended but I think I overall hit a home run for what I did purchase for just under 1200 USD.
Well I got a Laptop but if the specs are good but the laptop is overheating you are fucked....
I LOVE YOU .. THIS WEB SITE IS THE BEST THING EVER.
Never accept less than 40% OFF during a BF season.

Student Discounts: If you're a student or educator, check if you qualify for discounts from manufacturers like Apple, Dell, or Lenovo.
