By concern is , when we buy MacBook on Flipkart or Amazon they have some issue like poor screen quality, hinge problems, panel cracking and this problems don’t come when we buy offline store like unicorn or reliance , really want to know what is issue . Plz 🙏 if anyone know the truth plz share.

Its literally peanuts of storage for a device such as a laptop which is supposed to be used atleast 3-4 years.

Do not buy from b and h. I buy lots from them as a new Yorker but they won't take laptops back during the return window if you unseal the box. Microcenter etc have comparable deals and much better return policies for customers.

Usually the best deals line up with back-to-school (July/August) and then again on Black Friday. Apple itself doesn’t do big discounts, but they’ll often throw in gift cards during back-to-school promos.

Best Buy, Amazon, etc. tend to do bigger price drops though, especially around Black Friday. If you’re not in a rush, waiting for one of those windows usually pays off.

Openbox is Bestbuy returns and demos. I’ve bought a few Apple things from here.

If you’re waiting a couple months, wait until Black Friday / Cyber Monday and you can shop by best deal

OP you never actually said when you’re going to college. That would be helpful. Secondly there is no perfect time to buy a computer. If you’ve never use a Mac in the first place you should buy one get to understand it and use it. Make sure the courses that you’re taking will provide Mac software. Just like a person who never used the windows machine. There’s no perfect time to buy one for school if they don’t know how to use it in the first place. 3rd party seller deals come throughout the year and Apple’s education discount applies year round.

Buy laptop from Costco in September. Return within 90 days for a full refund. Get another one to keep during Black Friday. 

While I really like Macs and have been using them for a quarter century, if you've never used one you should really take a strong look at why you want one. You should look at what course work you will encounter and whether the apps that are needed are even ported for Mac. You may turn out to be expensively disappointed with a Mac.

Apple education pricing is uniform all the time. For Macs that’s usually a $100 discount

At other stores the deals can be the same or better at any given time. Just shop around for the model and config you want
