TL;DR Currently, there is no built-in feature in KakaoTalk for scheduling messages. However, you can use third-party apps or workarounds to achieve similar functionality.
Current Limitations of KakaoTalk
KakaoTalk does not natively support message scheduling. Unlike some messaging platforms that have integrated scheduling features, such as WhatsApp with third-party apps like Chatmaid Schedule [2:1], KakaoTalk users will need to look for alternative methods to schedule messages.
Third-Party Apps and Workarounds
For Android users, there are several third-party applications that allow scheduling of messages across various platforms. Apps like TEXTRA offer customizable messaging options, including the ability to schedule texts [4:3]. These apps typically require setting up a separate interface for managing scheduled messages.
iOS users can explore using the Shortcuts app to automate sending messages at specific times [4:2]. This involves creating a custom automation that triggers at a set time, although it may require manual confirmation depending on the setup.
Automated Bots and Scripts
For more tech-savvy users, creating an automated bot using Python scripts or cron jobs can be an effective solution. This method requires programming knowledge and access to a server or service where the script can run continuously. Users have reported success using Python bots with scheduled tasks to send messages at predetermined times [5:2].
Alternative Messaging Platforms
If scheduling messages is a critical feature for your communication needs, consider using other messaging platforms that support this functionality either natively or through reliable third-party integrations. For example, Telegram allows for scheduled messages directly within the app, making it a convenient option for those who frequently need this feature [5:1].
In summary, while KakaoTalk does not currently offer message scheduling, there are several workarounds involving third-party apps or custom scripts that can help achieve similar results.
Our Schedule Send feature lets you draft an email when it’s convenient for you and choose the exact time it gets sent.
The timing of an email matters. Emails sent between 9 AM and 3 PM are most likely to get a quick response. With this feature, instead of sending messages late at night or on weekends, you can schedule them to arrive at the right moment.
Some everyday use cases:
If you haven’t used it, this is a simple way to make email work on your schedule.

I use this feature regularly for business and find it very useful.
One of the managers at work got a promotion. His supervisor said he was always sending emails late at night or early in the morning. He was so devoted to his job and always thinking about it and finding solutions. I turned to my coworker and told him we needed to use schedule send emails to our supervisors at 2:00 AM.
When we are sick and don't go into work. We have to email in at 7:00 to let them know.
If i've decided the night before i'll schedule the email and turn my alarm off. Game changer.
💯
Is it available for app mobile?
Not in Android :(
It's in the new android app, although not yet enabled, out for limited testing.
iOS yes, it‘s available
Is it available in android app too?
Current app, no. The beta app does.
When I want to use this, and it does come up that I do, it's great!
I get up late so I schedule my emails the night before for the morning to make it look like I'm active. It's also an advantage to be among the first emails in someone's inbox.
Sent at 6am
Example: tonight I want to set up a WhatsApp message to send to my friend in the morning saying good morning at 6am without me touching my phone to send it in the morning.
You can do it with an external WhatsApp message scheduling app like WA Reminders. This syncs with your WhatsApp account and lets you schedule messages in the future.
Almost but not really.
However, consider an app where u can write and schedule messages that u wish to send via WhatsApp at certain times and when the time comes, u get sort of a reminder where, on click a button, the message to be sent gets copied to WhatsApp for the contact u want to send the message to.
Would such an app be of any value to u?
No, all messages that are send are send immediately
I need a femboy on my bed, whimpering and vulnerable. Crying out my name continuously as he looks up at me with a scared, delicate, and loving gaze. I want him to know who he belongs to as he bounces up and down repeatedly going faster and fast as time goes on. Not able to do anything but obey me and the strings tied around his wrists making sure he doesn’t escape. I want him to scream my name audibly until he loses his voice. I want him to push himself so hard he can’t walk for weeks. I want the slapping sound of skin to echo though the room.
When you definitely have the wrong app open 🤣

Yes, you can schedule messages on WhatsApp now! We found an app called Chatmaid Schedule on iPhone. I believe it’s still in its soft launch phase since the Android version doesn’t seem to be ready yet. I’ve tried it myself and it’s wonderful — super easy to use, clean interface, and so far it’s been very reliable. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to schedule WhatsApp messages ahead of time.
Can I schedule a message? I can't find the "send later" button when I press the "+". Is there a way to customize it?
Are you on iOS 18? https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/iphone/iph5ae9a7be6/ios
Yes, I am!
It says I can send it to anyone, but I only see the "send later" for other people with iMessage
are you on iOS 18? Are you and the other person using iMessage?
Yes, I am. The other person uses an Android. Just noticed that it lets me do it with iMessage...so I can't with android?
That’s how it seems to be you can’t do it with RCS/SMS.
First time poster here! I am unfortunately the type who thinks of all the texts to send the next day, but then forgets to send them during the appropriate time. It is just for personal (not business) use. Does anyone have recommendations for an app or another solution? I’m happy to pay for something if it works. Thanks in advanced!
If using iOS, look into setting up automated text messages to be sent at a specific time and date using the Shortcuts app.
If you have Android, I use TEXTRA for my messages instead of the default. Not only can you basically customize every last damn thing, but you can schedule send texts. I've used it for well over 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE it!
I write out my reply in the notes app then set a timed reminder. Reminder notification comes and I just copy paste the text.
If you're using android there is a feature in the regular messaging app to schedule texts for specific times and I think up to a week out.
Yeah, usually hold down send and the little menu pops up
the Pulse SMS app on android is the one I use. pain in the ass on ios though.
hello, anyone has a automated message scheduled bot?
A python bot with a schedule time I've already done it works well
i did it guys
What you did
I USED CRON JOB WEBSITE AND CHATGPT
Send the bot to see it
i didt with cron jop website aND CHAT GPT
Sounds like a good idea to make a bot
But explain to me a little more about the idea
I want to send the same message every day ate 9 am at my telegram group
Can someone help me find a website or app where I can schedule/lock a message/text/image so it can only be viewed after the countdown ends? Specially if you can link it to someone after the message is created.
u/Whelsey, thank you for your submission, please remember to supply as many details you can.
These include, if applicable: size, origin (store, geographic location, country), age/year acquired, and any writing on the item. Additional pictures can be added as a comment in this post.
Whatever you've googled/found already should be included to save time and effort.
If you get an answer, reply Found! to the person who gave it to award a point and flair the post.
Thanks.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.
you can schedule emails in Gmail to send at a later date
Can someone help me find a website, app or software where I can schedule/lock a message/text/image so it can only be viewed after the countdown ends? Specially if you can link it to someone after the message is created.
Boomerang for Gmail? Not a site per se, but it allows you to send message at scheduled future time. So it basically allows the “content” to be viewable after the scheduled date.
!RemindMe 2 days
Which context of delivery do you have? One person? A thousand? The former could make do with a scheduled mail, I guess.
Futureme.org is able to do this with an email. https://www.futureme.org/
You can schedule you messages using Telegram, not sure if that's what you want though
But dude, now we know. You told us.
Damn it! In fairness though not all of them are scheduled
There are so many things I want to share, but I’d rather give the impression that I was scrolling reddit with my morning coffee; not 3:46am while eating candy in bed.
So comment and you can find it easy lol tbh I do that
Why are you so afraid of people's judgement? Just let it be
You’re not married, are you?
I remember I could do that with my old Samsung phone. You could type out what you want to say/share without actually sending it so that when you wake up you send it but I think you should just let it be because they could find it funnier that way
I would but I failed to mention it’s my wife who I want to share it with and that’s not a conversation I want to have the next day haha
Create your message. On Android, click on the 3 dots at top right "Schedule" Set time. "Set"
Now and then, I still forget to schedule and wake people up at 5 a.m. because they're in 2 time zone over. Sorry, sibling!!!
EDIT: Sorry, I thought it's an Android feature. It seems that it's not. Been using LG for many years now. I found this feature a while back. Maybe on the LG Stylo which ran about $200-$250 from Metro PCS.
Sorry, Apple folk. I didn't know it's available on Apple. Someone commented that there's an app for it.
Me either...
Now, I did have it awhile back but my Samsung did an update and that feature is no longer available.
Edit: I was wrong! Instead of using the 3 dots in the top of the message, click the plus sign next to the text box then click the 3 dots under that menu.
Scheduled texts are still a thing.... Woo!
They changed this with Android 9.0 Pie, like, a week ago (for me, anyway). I know because I just figured it out about half an hour ago to send my brother-in-law a wake-up message for tomorrow morning, without having to wake up myself.
The other dude pointed that out. This is going to be pretty useful to me as I'm a bit of a nightowl. I hate sending out things to people at 2 or 3 in the morning. People think I never sleep.
Yep. The point of texting is that its convenient for everyone. I send it when I want to send it, and you get to it when its good for you
Using a Samsung S10 and don't see it in default "Messages" app. Would be really handy if it existed. What am I missing?
Same here - Google's Messages app, right?
One of the few things I dislike about my Pixel. On my old phone I used to be able to write texts late at night, then schedule to send them in the morning (which was awesome for anything professional related).. can't do that with Google Messages and it drives me nuts.
No just default messeging on my Samsung.
Textra has it
>Many phones come with a variation or 3 of a text message app
Yeah, my phone had 2. The default one, (which I assume Motorola puts on there?) and also a Verizon app.
The default one does not have the timed text feature. However, the Verizon app does.
Actually just recently discovered this when I needed to text someone early AM, and there was no way in hell I was gonna be awake, nor want to wake specifically for that lol.
My manager tells me 9a est is perfectly acceptable to start calling my West coast buddies to help diagnose an issue.
I understand my managers point of view, but I also think an extra couple hours may not hurt in some scenarios - I’d hate a 6a wake up call.
That's the true beauty of the DND function. One call - not important no notification. Two calls in less than three minutes from the same person - must be urgent time to ring loudly. I live by this feature, dealing with family in different countries, that still don't understand time differences, or dealing with customers who think that just because they have a night shift crew, I should be available to them 24/7.
How to schedule messages on KakaoTalk
Scheduling Messages on KakaoTalk: Key Considerations
KakaoTalk Features: As of my last update, KakaoTalk does not have a built-in feature for scheduling messages directly within the app. However, you can use workarounds or third-party apps.
Using Third-Party Apps: Consider using third-party applications or services that integrate with KakaoTalk to schedule messages. Look for apps that support KakaoTalk and check user reviews for reliability.
Manual Reminders: If scheduling is not an option, you can set reminders on your phone to send messages at a specific time. Use your phone's calendar or reminder app to alert you when it's time to send your message.
Group Chats: If you're part of a group chat, you can inform members about a specific time you plan to send a message, so they are aware and can respond accordingly.
Recommendation: Keep an eye on updates from KakaoTalk, as they may introduce new features, including message scheduling. For now, using reminders or third-party apps is your best bet for scheduling messages effectively.
