Title speaks for itself.
I think you do well in getting into the headspace of the characters, use narration well to really sell the mood of how a player is feeling or a scene in general. The detail there is to enjoy.
I say the biggest issue is, sometimes, it can be very visible you just do not have much in mind for certain players so they tend to get not much to do. Ally from D&D I think is a chief example as especially compared to Tess and more so Hunter she feels like an afterthought.
Tbf a lot of pre-merge boots just can't really do as much
I get that, but as shown with COC in Alessio/Amelie, could still do smaller stories for the earlier boots or give them a little something as it were, just think it would help on my observation.
i'm deducting three points.
great advice sarfacedninja
thanks 🥰🫰
Now i know he’s been dead a long time. But this idea always felt good to me and i just believe it was a better plot for legacies. So I always had the thought process that Henrik would come back to life. He was a witch. Therefore coulda been on the other side among other things. Like witches had a big tendency to come back. Plus we see pretty much see everyone else in or around that family die then miraculously return like they’re allergic to death. And I know it was because The Other Side or the Ancestral Well. But his Mother was Esther and his Aunt was Dahlia. 2 of the most powerful witches of ALL time. I’m sure there was some “Loophole” bs they could’ve thought of. So why not bring him back to. (Hell say Dahlia did it just to try and kill him again in-front of Esther as some means of torture I don’t know. Just a random thought)
Now i know he found “peace” or whatever but this is all like a fan-made thought i created in my head one day so i didn’t just think of every stepping point. Just my rough thoughts. Bare with me here.
So anyways hear me out. Legacies sucked in comparison to TVD and TO. Thats no secret and in my opinion that’s due to the bad writing AND the lack of Mikaelsons being involved. Including Marcel and Davina. Like Klaus literally said RIGHT BEFORE HE DIED that he was okay with dying because “he knew they would all return to each-other time and time again to face ANY threat” But they were in legacies for what one scene. Maybe two. So just try to picture this where-ever you feel it fits in.
Really imagine Henrik went crazy in death and created a grudge against Klaus. Blaming him for taking him out to see the wolves that killed him so long ago. So Hope begins to face this threat that she doesn’t know but she feels they are unusually powerful and she senses a kind of familiar feeling about him and his magic. So she seeks out Freya and the others. (Actually tying the family in the story of Legacies) And as it turns out to be Henrik back from the dead. Seeking out Klaus for revenge but with him just coming back to life he’s finding out Klaus already died. And that everyone claims he was redeemed and all that which only makes him even more mad. So suddenly he feels the only true revenge would be to kill what Klaus loved most. His daughter. But with Henrik dying so young he’d be about Hopes age i imagine. But instead of fighting him Hope does what she thinks is right seeing that the real issue is that he was just driven mad being dead and alone and essentially forgotten for so long. And so she actually manages to get him to join the school of Alaric Saltzman. Obviously, he would be very changed from who the Mikaelsons once knew as a kids. and he could be that character thats honestly now kind of unhinged but really powerful and helpful at times and have real character development.
Like i would’ve rather seen all of that happen over the stupid plot points that crashed and burned. I think it would’ve linked together all the shows wayyyyy better. Especially if there was some way where they actually utilized the teachers that were around. Not just Alaric. Like keeping Jermey Bonnie and Caroline around. Granted i know not many people from TVD cast wanted to work with Alarics actor Matt. So they Could’ve had Caroline stay as HeadMaster and sent Alaric off to do whatever the hell they claimed Caroline was doing. That way we probably could’ve even gotten an appearance from Damon and Elena to. Would’ve been interesting to see Rebekah and those two talk about the cure given Klaus arranged for her to receive it after Damon was done with it. And thats my Ted-Talk😂 thanks for hearing it lol. Let me know what you think
GOD! How I would love to see more Henrik! And the senario fits the Mikaelson madness in my eyes.
Honestly. They should’ve put real fans in the conversation to help write legacies.
If I could write it Henry comes back in season 2 of TO as Esther tries to “fix” the family. He’s the perfect bargaining chip and she’s gaslit him into thinking he’s helping them but she’s just keeping him locked up as a magic battery. When they convince him to rebel he helps stop her but now has to settle into the new dynamic. The family keeps him indoors while he learns magic cause he’s the weakest mikaelson next to hope. He has some resentment but over season 3 acclimates and starts loving the modern era. Once they all get poisoned maybe he stays awake and goes like freya but he becomes a lot more willing to be cruel for his family. By S5 hes jumping to each sibling keeping things stable and hope has to be reminded he’s an uncle not a brother.
Come legacies he’s a magical advisor and only shows up when things get serious but takes a full teaching role when nik enrolls (in this legacies made it far enough to have a new class for freyas son)
Would have been so interesting! I always think they lost so much potential not bringing him back. I guess keeping him dead was to show that even the TVD crazy magic system had a limit, but there could have been so many workarounds.
Wasn’t WB bought by Discovery a few years ago? Are they selling it now in this case?
If Paramount suceeds they'll own WB now and the next messy merger shall occur, yes.
No. Paramount is a fucking mess. They can’t even make an app that works
Not much better than WB though, WB has famously treated DC stuff like shit for a long time now.
But yeah paramount plus is so fucking useless, ngl. Doesnt even exist outside of north america lmao
Bro they are finally getting it right, do you really think more suits from one of the worst streaming service getting involved will improve things?
No idea. If they let good directors make good movies thats all it'll take but this big companies arent good at that. Im very optimistic for the new DCU ( which is ironic because I thought Superman was just slightly above solid and haven't liked anything ive heard from Lanterns) i guess we'll see but I somehow doubt Aquaman is getting any special treatment movie wise until may another 4-5 years. Same with Flash
Welp it’s all over
Paramount has kind of been in the process of running the Star Trek IP (which should be hard to mess up) into the ground, so I'm not certain this is what we want to see.
Boom! Silver gets tired of being compared to David Stern and Kawhi is now a free agent after a 30 game suspension. Who would be the best fit for him? Who would be the funniest?
The easy answer is the Nuggets but an interesting AND funny option would be going back to the Spurs. Sure he pissed everyone off on the way out but he's still tight with Pop and the players that did hate his guts are all gone.
voided AND minimum one year ban, probably
I'm not sure a player can be banned for circumventing the cap. Smith's only punishment was his lowball contract being voided. It was the T-Wolves, their owner and their GM who got hammered.
That said, Kawhi would probably be forced to take a minimum deal or at most an MLE, if his contract gets voided, as teams have used nearly all their cap space already.
I put in a 30 game suspension just to be safe in my prompt.
Staying in LA and signing with the Lakers would be the biggest news story.
It would be but the Lakers still seem pretty pissed about how he swerved them.
30 game suspension, 30 no show games, I'll pass on two weeks of Kawhi.
He should be suspended at least a full season imo. But it would be hilarious to see Bill lose his mind if he signed with the lakers on a minimum.
I’d love to understand how the players association would let him be suspended.
What rule did he break?
Raptors.
He’s going to go play in Saudi Arabia. Only place that can pay him the money he will demand. No NBA team has enough cap space to meet his demands. He’s not going from 50M to accepting under 10M.
Assuming the fantasies of some people come to fruition and Ballmer and the Clippers get crushed, he will be playing for Ballmer's team in the Intuit Dome for the new flagship of the Saudi backed league. (I think this is why nothing will happen even thought the facts are so bad for Ballmer.)
How quickly do you think he runs afoul of the KSA’s restrictions on free speech? If this happens there is a non zero chance he ends up jailed and sparking a diplomatic crisis.
My expectations /hopes
Made in Japan by Japanese developers
Nothing from the Netflix series makes it into real Castlevania
^that's really all I need to be honest.
It’ll be Netflix-Vania based, hopefully it won’t mingle, but I’d much rather just have it not be Netflix-vania, but I’m keeping my expectations low
Hear me out....Castlevania SoTN but with Bloodstained ritual of the night graphics + Extra content
I hope that's not it. Surely, with a AAA team, they can do something more original
Yeah SoTN but you can choose to play as any main protagonist from the series with their own endings and own secrets and all
Nah, I'd actually kill for a proper Symphony of the Night remake before anything else. Like, I'm totally down for something new and original but like, I desperately need an 2.5D remake of Symphony of the Night with all the extra content from the Sega Saturn version. Maybe rework the different kinds of weapons to feel more diverse in terms of combat and a more balanced leveling system so I don't fly through the 2nd half of the game so quickly
Super agree here. The events in Aria and Dawn are well and dear to Castlevania fans.
Just throwing a wrench here, but I’d be very interested with a survival horror Castlevania HAHHAHAH
I mean I haven't played those games so I'm not too familiar with it myself. All I know is that it's supposed to be one of the most important events in the timeline but we've never actually seen any depiction of it.
>but I’d be very interested with a survival horror Castlevania HAHHAHAH
The middle game levels of CV64 are heavily inspired by Resident Evil, so, give it a spin.
new game in the style of aria or sotn (original but still similar enough to the best games)
Wait did I miss something? Was there actually confirmation that they were working on a new game?
Well I think there's a couple of gaps in between some of the belmonts that we could probably make a game about. Dare I say I'd even like to see a game where you play as Dracula and maybe have to rescue a pregnant Lisa from some threat.
Rerir and Columbina appear to have Moon Symbols while Sandrone has a Sun Symbol, Signora idk, not sure what this could imply…
…..Holy shit you’re onto something
…What does this mean for Rerir?
You really can’t appreciate Signora’s design enough...it’s peak even by today
Exactly! Even with Rerir, Columbina, and Sandrone, she still stands out as among the best
Where did this new image of her come from btw? Or is new at all? If she has a new file name then it could mean something
Yeah
And people doubted Signora and Rerir would both be Playable…Rerir literally has the same Files as Sandrone and Skirk lmao
And Signora having an Avatar gives her A SIGNIFICANTLY better chance, only Playables get that
Like I don’t see any Avatar_Surtalogi
I kinda wonder how many Files she even has, like if the 4th was this well hidden…does she potentially have a 5th that could contain all the Information we need?
Avatar_Lady_Catalyst_LaSignora, two of her Models have it, so does she have a Model that puts them together?
It means they are Celestia victims because celestia shines the brightest
God, I feel bad for you at this point, literally no one is staying in Celestia, Rhinedottir cannot be trusted, Ronova is very likely to become Fallen for going behind The Heavenly’s Principle’s back and probably replaced, Istaroth is apathetic, and Asmoday straight up abandoned you…
I call it: all the Shades are going to abandon the heavenly principles and leave them to their fate by the end.
some will side with us, some will stay neutral and let us defeat Phanes.
And who knows, maybe this "new master" Asmoday loves more than herself is actually the Tsaritsa and we had a Shade working with the Fatui all along.
Not gonna happen, our enemies are simply too much of a bums to make a change
Rerirs design is one of the coolest designs I’ve ever seen in genshin
ON GOD THOUGH
CATALYST LA SIGNORA???? HELLO???
People used to say we knew from the start that she was not gonna be playable because in her files, her element and weapon type weren't present. But if this is new, doesn't that mean there's still hope?? Mfs said Arle was gonna die but she didn't and it was obvious, because we knew she was a pyro claymore. So.. 👁

Person whom dexter cared about died so there is a chance that harrison may die
The biggest Lead Maria was on was the blood slide at the Church with Doomsday creep. At least makes a case that the BHB was still active or there's a copycat. If still active then Doakes very unlikely not have been bhb. I don't think resurrection shows us meetings between Wallace and Batista where he definitely would have made this exhibit #1. He sounded so crazy and didn't get his thoughts together as to why Dexter was the bhb.
I don’t think she told most people she found that blood slide. I think she had told Debra and while it wasn’t shown onscreen maybe Matthews. Matthews is likely dead by now so I don’t see anyone having knowledge of that blood slide.
She would have put it in evidence but Dexter would have been able to easily steal it and erase any record of it having existed after she died.
Masuka knew about the blood slide.
That last part is sometimes what bugs me in shows or movies where they don’t have their thoughts/stories straight when trying to prove a case of something of this magnitude. But we also don’t know what evidence angel and Maria had in those documents. She had another station/lab run that blood side sample and was doing everything on the down low with Matthews. And also the pictures of Deb collecting gas at the gas station just a short distance away from the crime scene that burned up. She learned of dexters childhood/backstory of his mother’s death and how she died and he witnessed it and sat in her blood for days. So if those 3 things were in that file he had a good starting case. And also Maria said her and doakes were on stakeouts/jobs during some BHB kills so he had an alibi there (unless of course they could say she has bias and could be covering for him or something.) so that could also maybe have been in her files she had. Because if Batista made the case with those points along with Doakes always having a weird/off feeling of Dexter and he ends up dead. Then Maria finds that bloodslide and tries to bring him in and pin it on him, she ends up dying a short time later. I’m sure I’m missing some things but I didn’t wanna ramble on more than I already have lol.
James Doakes was the Bay Harbour Butcher, his father was a butcher, closed case.
That joke is so annoyingly overused.
So is almost every Dexter joke
Sounds like something Doakes would say.
these mfs will keep making this same joke till the end of time
As that has her name on it and not Dexter’s it’s was probably a file on her murder. He could have been planning on asking Dexter about things in there but didn’t get the chance to as he only questioned him once after the coma.
He only got to ask a fraction of what he was going to ask him as he thought Dexter would be in the hospital for two weeks so may have been starting off with easier questions to try to make Dexter feel more comfortable giving answers.
If instead Dexter were still under arrest as he expected when he first went to question him he may have gone right to these questions.
And he could have realized there wasn’t a point in showing this file to the New York cops as it didn’t help prove Dexter was the BHB at all.
What an Irish Vampire might look like.
“Mom can I watch Sinners?”
“We have Sinner at home.”
I think you were supposed to watch Sinner5, the fifth movie in the Sinner franchise
Sinn5r: Too Sin, Too Furious
Personally I though Sinn3r: Tokyo Drift was the peak of the franchise.
Where all other franchises were shitting with each sequels, the audience ‘plead the fifth’, only for this one.
I thought it was a tennis bio-pic.
I think I watched the wrong movie too, what is this?
No this is the right one
With Venice & Telluride going on, I'm seeing a lot of predictions, and not really any for Sinners in the acting nominations specifically. Yes, all the predictions are early, but it's making me wonder whether anyone else thinks if Sinners still has a chance - in any category. Or do you think it will get the Challengers treatment of being extremely popular mainstream, but still released too early in the year for the Academy to omit it?
I think it should have a great chance; especially in directing, cinematography & score - but everyday I see glowing reviews for the latest film's festival premiere (Hamnet, No Other Choice, Bugonia) and I get more sceptical.
I never thought Sinners was an acting threat. I think a director nom is very possible, considering the potential backlash without a nom + how Coogler seems very well liked in the industry.
It’s definitely the frontrunner for Score still, and should get a BP nom unless things ramp up a lot.
>considering the potential backlash without a nom
Ohhh my God, how many times does the directing branch have to snub film twitter faves for you guys to learn they do not care about narratives AT ALL. 😭 I don't think it's crazy to have Ryan Coogler in your predictions, but "potential backlash" is such non-factor.
Thank you for saying this. People seem to forget that the Academy beat to the sound of their own drums. They are indifferent to film twitter and Oscar prognosticators.
I think Sinners chances of winning Best Pic depend on how well they run their campaign. It has all of the elements of a film that can dominate the Oscars with a few drawbacks (it’s a vampire action flick). I see a lot of EEAAO comparisons. I think it’s a mistake to compare current awards contenders to past contenders. But it’s only natural. However, a key difference between EEAAO and Sinners is The Daniels approach to campaigning is fundamentally different than Coogler’s approach to campaigning. The Daniels were goofy and happy to be in the race. Coogler is a bit more introspective and seemingly indifferent to chasing Oscars. I think because Sinners is such a strong film it will get 10+ nominations across the board. But, in order to win Best Picture, Coogler will have to be front and center in the Sinners campaign. If so, then Sinners could dominate on Oscar night.
It's going to get nominated across the board, not sure about the acting categories and director but at worst it's going to be another Dune 2 situation, not a Challengers situation. And I'm still pretty confident in it winning Score, Song, and Sound and have it as the Cinematography front runner. It also could easily win Editing.
Can't believe I forgot to mention Editing! I literally mentioned it in my personal review, I was blown away it was fantastic.
I think the film will be more successful than Challengers at the Oscars. I'd say Score and Original Song are the current favorites. And I think Ryan Coogler has a good chance of being nominated and, who knows, winning in Director.
Ludwig Göransson winning a third Oscar for Score, and two of the wins being for a Coogler film would be so insane. Hope it happens.
I’d say Ryan is a lock for a director nomination
Unless he’s changed his mind, Coogler has said that he has zero interest in campaigning, so that itself will be a hurdle to overcome.
I wish, and I am predicting him, but it's not impossible to imagine this being one of the many acclaimed box office hits that gets into the DGA 5 but misses Best Director because the branch only occasionally goes for those kinds of films. The Dark Knight, Inception, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Captain Phillips, American Sniper, The Martian, A Star Is Born, Dune, Top Gun: Maverick, and Barbie all followed that path and missed in the end to less mainstream films. I don't think Sinners will, but it definitely wouldn't be surprising if it did.
Exactly right. It's soooo much more popular than Challengers was, has a much bigger cultural impact.
There was literally a petition signed by tens of thousands of people to get a screening in the town it's set in, which doesn't have a movie theater, and they MADE IT HAPPEN.
